    Awesome video! I'd love to see a video on this expanded on setting the footsteps to trigger different footstep sounds on different materials. Like going from grass to concrete to metal and having the footsteps trigger sounds in relation to what material are being walked on.

    Very nice, I use pitch to alter sounds frequently.

    why my first person character does the sound and about 4 seconds of running it stops the sound

      IF THIS GUIDE IS NOT WORKING, TRY DOING THE SAME THING EXCEPT ON THE RUNNING ANIMATION. I WAS STUCK ON THIS FOR AN HOUR AND I ADDED THE SFX TO THE RUNNING ANIMATION AND BAM.

    I like his videos. Really wonderfull. I admire this instructor. The issue at the final of videos, his voice turns down and starts to whisper. Well... I know that it's a little difficult.

    I did the same for the AI ​​character. Normally it all works. But I want the AI ​​character's footsteps to be heard, moving away, etc. Unfortunately, as soon as I turn on Sound Attenuation, the sounds stop playing, nothing is heard. Also, if I create these sounds via MetaSound, everything works, but turning on Sound Attenuation in the MetaSound settings turns them all off again. It works normally on other actors. Does anyone know what could be wrong? I've searched everywhere and haven't found a working solution. Thank you.

      well, the answer is BOTH! but take your time, I would prioritize UE and then blender

      It depends on what you want to focus on. If it's art than go for blender and then learn how to integrate your assets and play with them in unreal. Tbh that's what I made and it's much more fun playing with own assets
