Mr.Bensusan ,You are Mike Dawes Hero and that's how I found out about you and now I saw you on an interview that helped me understand more about DADGAD tuning and I have my Alvarez acoustic tuned to DADGAD always so I can become accustomed and Learn ! Thank you for the lesson and the Insight to more than just practice
Lovely versions on these Kendal videos. We saw Pierre on the same tour at the Robin2 at Bilston and I counted not more than 35 people in the audience. Unbelievable! We felt very honoured, and Pierre gave us a fantastic show in spite of the low turnout.
Saw Pierre in Folsom last night. Hope he had a good time in his brief stay. Rare to see someone create their own little world with a instrument, merci from Folsom.
Beautiful music, Pierre. I've just tuned my guitar to A#maj7... having fun exploring after years of being bored with standard tuning. You've inspired me. 💐💐
Oh, you are a supremely talented artist, Pierre!! You play with such expertise and artistry. I can feel your emotions. Of course I had to subscribe and share this!!! Logging out for today, but looking forward to checking out more of your work another time. Thanks for the wonderful music and have a great day!! ~Jackie
I find it ironic that the man who originated DADGAD (Davey Graham) only did it as a convenient way to play Arabic music on guitar(without aquiring an oud)after returning from Tangiers ,hitchhiking there in the early 60s. I wonder if he knew there was so much in there....
I understand from what Pierre explained during a concert, is that he naturally came to this tuning, looking for something different, as he never liked standard tuning
Dammit! Pierre....and I WILL say it again.....one day I hope to be able to play like YOU....hahahaha.....and I'm getting there, got my own DEERBRIDGE Klaus Weiland Signature Guitar....I am hot on your heels my old friend......thank you again for all the wonderful music.........
Salut Pierre. Be my guest...
Amazing Musicianship. But, I have to say this was too complex for me to even keep up with the melody. I guess this is music in one of its purest forms.
You learn about life and music and humility from pierre bensusan thats what separates pierre from the rest of so called popular UA-cam guitarist. Too many percussive guitarist that sounds the same as the other guy 99:/: are all like that! Theres only one DADGAD Guitar Master And Thats Pierre Bensusan
