I met Steve back in the 1997. My realtor John Kidwell introduced us in Yacht club. I had a condo in Country Club Square but had to sell it cause My mom got sick and l am the only child to see about her in central Texas. It broke my heart to leave Rockport. I admired Steves' paintings so much. I use to belong to the Rockport Art Association before Hurracaine Harvey came and almost destroyed Rockport. I am Diane Austin. For 12 yrs l did oil paintings for the owners of their shrimp boats in Rockport an gulf shrimpers in Conn Brown Harbor. I just wonder if any of my paintings made it through Harvey. If so please tell the guys l am so glad for them. Teresa Justice was my friend and teacher. I know she died. I happened on to this program of Steve on u-tube. I can't drive anymore because of a car accident in 2011. But l will always love Rockport !!!! And Steve Russell.
