For some reason, you sounded like a tech genius. I really really need to expand my tech in the year 2024. I came across one of these links that were in the video description, I clicked on it, and look, Amazon still has it in stock. Now, all I need to find is a CD player that has anti-Skip that buffers the data for at least a minute or 60 seconds, even in the slightest jolts and bumpy roads, not just when we’re walking or running, but also for driving.
I dont have any updated info on that. Let us know what youi find out
thank you for sharing. Yeah I just bought a 2220 Chevy Spark and the Spark only has usb ports inside the car, well plus a cig. Lighter of course. I've been trying to fight over a tooth and nail on what cords or Bluetooth or whatever to my little cd walkman player. Cause we've got tons of cds.

Yup I got the transmiter you suggested and nada- I guess my 2023 Ford didn't like it-I tried for a couple of hours and finally gave up-
this is a old video , i will revisit this in future video, remember the trond must be pulled into the cigarette for power, the blue tooth set to transmit , and the car must be sync to the unit and then selected as source

I want to record or burn a CD using the music I have saved on youtube. And so I would need a CD burner/creator that has bluetooth
I am here again. Can you explain each step in detailed words on how to connect the trond device to car, from step 1 to the very last step, and the specific cords that need to be plugged to the Bluetooth trond device? There is only one USB cord and it’s for when you want to charge the device. Thank you.
1. set trond to transmit 2. connect trond to power source, 3 connect walkman ,or other to sound input. 3. go into menu find bluetooth and connect to bluetooth pair, come out of menu and select blue tooth device from car, press play
@@kcgrandpatech So, first, set the transceiver to transmit, either before or after you power it on. Second, plug one end to the USB socket and the other end of it to the said device. The third and last step is pretty much a big one to look closely. What I know is that this Bluetooth transceiver comes with a 3.5 mm audio Jack and cable. I guess that’s when you will connect whatever player you have on hand, like an MP3 player, a CD player, an iPod, etc. to that transceiver. I’m splitting the last step into a separate step, which will be step 4 and is also the final one. I’m thinking that’s when you’re going to have to go to source and Bluetooth on your car’s computer system. That’s when mom and dad will have to see if the system sees the said device, and once tapped on it, I’m good to go. I hope that’s my best explanation of the process. I’m sure I’ll come back and say thank you once it has succeeded.
I tried two other similar bluetooth transmitter/receivers and they did NOT work (would not connect with my car's bluetooth). They would connect with other devices in my home so I know there was nothing technically wrong with them. So my specific question is, is the Trond any different? Are there any that are tested to work with the news cars with only a usb media port and Carplay/Android Auto? It seems these newer car bluetooth compatibility is limited to devices like phones or Ipod/Ipads. I read other similar comments below. Just because this works in some cars, do NOT assume it works in all cars or that we are not following directions. Some of us babyboomers are QUITE determined to find a solution. Unfortunately, and I see no reason for it, some newer cars are not compatible with these types of transmitters.

Probably also depends on what version of Bluetooth you are running, and if either device is backward compatible..
You need a usb to aux adapter, there quite pricy but my car does does not like the Bluetooth ones

you can simply get a $30 bluetooth CD player. the problem is will your car allow 2 devices to work at the same time (the other being the phone)

I have an IPod Nano and it doesn't work plugged into my USB port. It says "Accessory not supported". I don't want my phone or any other information entered into my screen. If I get a Tron device will it work if I activate the bluetooth button on my steering wheel? I'm about to pull my hair out. I have a 2024 Toyota RAV4. Thanks!!!

No problem I see what that is I don't have a computer system on my car like that to pair it with Bluetooth I have a CD player that's portable but I only have USB socket and I hear static through my CD through my radio I'm not too good at this electronic stuff but I would like to run my CD player with my CDs but I don't have an auxiliary in my car and I thought maybe this would work but do you have to have a computer in your car like that any answer would be great thank you

the most important thing is to have the trond ib transmit, and pair with the car. after of course you need nto select the trond as one of the blue tooth devices

I have a question about pairing the transmitter with the car bluetooth system. The Trond website indicated that it would not work because you cannot enter the code on the transmitter that the car asks for to complete pairing. Is this correct?
This video is very old, works with most cars, you have to try it on yours, use the amazon link, if it does not pair return it, it worded on my new volkswagon tiguan 2023

A bluetooth transmitter like the one talked about here could also be very useful if you have wireless headphones that do not have an auxiliary audio input but yet you want to use them with an MP3 player that doesn't have bluetooth. Let's talk about the Apple Airpods Max headphones, for instance. There's no auxiliary input on those headphones. So a bluetooth transmitter like this could be a nice workaround if you wanted to use them with your mp3 player. I, for example, have a device called the "Plextalk Pocket", and this device has no bluetooth capabilities. So a bluetooth transmitter would allow me to turn the Plextalk Pocket into a bluetooth-compatible device! This is rather exciting for me, because I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to buy a bluetooth speaker or headphones to use with the Plextalk device only to discover that the speaker or headphones have no audio input jack! I've always had to make sure that the wireless headphones or speakers I buy also have an audio jack so I can use it with my non-bluetooth devices, but if I get a transmitter like the one shown here, I won't have to worry about that anymore!

@@kcgrandpatech You're welcome :) I actually intentionally looked for videos like this to see if bluetooth transmitters were a thing; I'm aware of bluetooth receivers, which allow you to essentially turn wired headphones into wireless ones, but I've thought it could be cool to do the opposite (turn a non-bluetooth audio player into a bluetooth-compatable one). So videos like this one make me even more excited to know that this kind of thing does in fact exist!

Actually, I'm not really looking for a bluetooth transmitter at the moment, because I already have headphones that are wired, and I can also use them with bluetooth if I want. But I always end up connecting them to my IPhone or something like that if I want to use them in bluetooth mode. I may still get a transmitter though, just in case I decide I want to use my Plextalk Pocket with bluetooth because I don't want to use the wire (for whatever reason). In fact, Christmas is coming up soon, so I may even decide to get a bluetooth transmitter for Christmas!

Yes
I connected an ipod classic to my car's usb port using the charging cable that came with the ipod. While it plays ok the ipod always goes though the songs in alphabetical order and does not allow me to change to any tracks via the ipod or the car's on screen display. I found I have to unplug the charger from the ipod, select the song or album I want, start the song then replug the charger back into the ipod. Any ideas as to what;s going on?

Are you in transmit mode, setting car blue tooth , if not in transmit it will not discover and has power to it

I have a collection of about 300 or 400 CDs that are old or CDs and they’re not on any of the streaming services so my CDs are very valuable to me
@@raintree251000 audio CD will fit perfect in a mini SD card or a normal USB. All you have to do is transfer those audio to mp3 format. No quality loss, save them in the clouds and even if you loose it, burn it, break it, all of your media, video or audio will never get lost. This is what I am talking about. 500 CD you will need a back pack to store them and a lot of time to find the one you want to play. Some call themselves "boomers"....NO...if you can use a smartphone, you can use a media player. All the best and enjoy the new tech.

I got a transceiver and hooked it up to my portable CD player as you directed. It pairs with my 2021 Honda OK, but the car acts like it's cell phone. It displays "incoming call" and won't do anything until I hit answer. When I do, the audio does not come through - instead, it hear only my own voice echoed. Any ideas?

Because when connecting with a car, TROND BT-DUO S can only act as a Bluetooth receiver and pair to your Bluetooth device such as phones
However, there is no Bluetooth function with your CD player
You can pair your CD player to your Bluetooth headphone or other Bluetooth device through the DUO S

The trond is a simple interface, powered by your car,, you connect your device to it through the audio in, audio out of your player. Set to transmit your car car can pair with it. Then the audio playing from your player is transmitted to your car Bluetooth, then all you have to do is select the right input on your car,

contact the company help, be sure you have it in transmit, and you select it and the tron is connected to the ciigerette lighter
@@kcgrandpatech Yes, it's in transmit. And no matter if I have it plugged directly into the USB port or into a USB cigarette lighter, the car does not detect the device. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. When I go to the car website the information is limited to Android Auto and AppleCarPlay. When I go to Add New Device to the car it says, "In the Bluetooth device, search for the Vehicle Name shown and pair." However there's no display that would show that on the Ground itself, and since the iPod doesn't have built-in Bluetooth, that won't show as a part of the iPod menu options.
my Walkman isn't Bluetooth nor is my car stereo so what do i need a Fm converter ?
