WOW This is definitely THE BEST WRECK THIS JOURNAL EVER! So many ideas, so original and artistic, from day 1 until today i can say I really admire your skills and your way of wrecking the journal, always thinking outside the box and making everyone WOW with every prompt, congratulations 🎉 👏👏👏
This is AMAZING! I’ve just received one as a gift and am excited to get going! Can I ask more about your creative process? Did you complete the journal in order of the pages? Did you read the prompt, decide and then source materials or was it more impulsive/spur of the moment? Did the original spine hold itself? Do you have any less common art supplies that you would recommend? Again, truly wonderful! You should be so proud!
Hi! Thank you so much! I didn't complete the journal in order. Every time, I just flip through the book and chose a page randomly, and followed the prompt. I always try to use materials I already have or whatever I find in the surroundings outdoors. I try not to think too much when I do the pages, I find more enjoyable the process rather than the final results. And that way it is easier when it comes to breaking or damaging the pages. This time (wreck This journal in colour), the spine held itself perfectly. The first wreck this journal I completed, didn't. So I used packaging tape to hold it together. The only supply I think I could recommend is gesso, it is used to prime the paper so paint doesn't bleed through. But I don't use anything special. You can watch the process here ua-cam.com/play/PLRcZHp1m5fNbcF4S7QeVWz7OSRjkWtHbL.html&si=6w5PzMrwB_y469Mm Hope it helps! Thank you so much 😊 I hope you have fun with the journal!
@@PsykotykaRT thank you so much for such a thoughtful and helpful reply! It means a lot. So interesting to hear more, and I’m about to watch your process with your journal now. I’ve added gesso to my cart and looking forward to it 😊. Thank you!
I love the belt to keep it closed. What does #wreckthisjournal mean? I’m working on my first one and totally addicted to it. I have just been calling it a artisan journal.
Hi! Thank you! 😊 for me, Wreck This Journal is a place to create without fear, to enjoy the moment while you are creating something, it is grounding, it's like a little refuge where is ok whatever you do, to experiment with materials, to try new things, where it's ok to not be perfect. 😊 hope you have fun with yours!
En algunas paginas uso gesso, es una imprimación que prepara la página y a veces también la refuerzo con cinta de carrocero entre página y página, otras veces simplemente dejo que se rompan 😅

Como logras que no se rompan las hojas cuando pintas ?
