Unfortunately, it sounds like the fan is defective. Depending on where you bought it you should be able to have them swap it out under warranty. If not, you can do this directly with Milwaukee if you have a copy of your receipt. Super easy, just fill out the tool repair form on milwaukeetool.com print the prepaid labels, and box up the fan. The runtime is not true. A 5ah youll get about a hour amd the 12ah like 3 and a half. Unless you had different results. One things for sure the small m18 fan is a beast

I bought this fan, and a few months later it got stuck on the highest setting for some reason, wont even let me turn it off. Any suggestions?
