@ casein... the videos by mr icee have been so helpful, he is truly an angel from heaven! I've been able to do self service and repairs to my e350 with his instructions.. I've saved so much money that I've been able to get off of EBT government food assistance :)
Are you using oil? Or leaking? My 2011 w212 e350 3.5l v6 was leaking from the vacuum pump on the rear of the engine at 106k miles. Easy fix though. I run either LiquiMoly or Amsoil. Both stout oils.
@@mikeicee I did the same thing and bought the PCV refresh kit off of ECS tuning and replaced it all at around 90k miles. Just have to remember that reverse threaded bolt that holds it together. After that and a new vacuum pump, no more leaks or oil consumption. Although now I have a slight tapping sound when warmed up which I think is a timing chain tensioner getting weak.
I have question . If you don't mind helping me with this. I have a 2011 Mercedes E350 4 matic sedan w212. I'm the third owner of this vehicle before me it was owned by a corporation for an Executive in Florida and then transfer to Georgia. Now I have it. It has 127000 miles on it. When I purchased it they changed the oil on it. I hVe no warnings or lights on telling me to check the oil I do have a time to do "A" service message on the dash. I've only put about 4000 miles on the car since I bought it in Nov 2022. I've looked for a dipstick and only found one tube behind the engine with a cap on it. I didn't know if it was the transmission or engine oil tube. I've seen video on checking the oil by the computer or dipstick. I've tried the computer and that didn't show anything so I called the Mercedes dealership parts department and they say they didn't have a dipstick and can no longer get one. So I called PARTS GEEK and they had a OME Mercedes dipstick for this car using the last 8 or 9 numbers of the VIN . So I was real happy about getting the right one. Well I got it and put it and it shows no oil on the dipstick. So I took it to the 5 minute oil change place near me. They won't change the oil because they think this dipstick is to short . Thinking it's not the right dipstick for this car. The dealership won't even do anything for me because it's older than 10 years and they didn't sell the car. So, here I am asking you , what would you do. Ooh the dealership gave a number of a mercedes shop that would . I called and was told they would not just change the oil they want to do the service "A" on it. And can't do til next month after the holiday. Can you help, is this the engine oil tube or transmission tube to check the fluid? I was wondering what the length of the correct dipstick is? It has the 3.5L gas engine. The dipstip I have is around 23 inches long.
You are doing too much. The W212 E350 will not tell you your oil level. It will only tell you if you are low. The Service A is pretty much an oil change and a top off window washer fluid. Although they also do overkill by checking brake pads/ tire pressure etc. You car has a dip stick. If it is missing keep in mind you need one for a 4matic car as the engine oil pan is moved from the back bottom to the front bottom.
@@mrobson5056 I changed the oil level sensor and its fixed for was 47 box. it usually came on when you i was going little Bit faster in highway so i figured it was electronic part even though my car has only 60 k on it.
I had this message come up and took it back to the dealer a couple times to check oil but it end up being something loose on a wiring harness.
It comes up yesterday when I serviced my car
As older the W212 gets, as more I like him.
And you are using LIQUI MOLY😃.
Is it recommended by Mercedes?
Greetings from Germany ✌️
Yes it has MB Approval 229.5!

So i think its using the oil via the PVC system. I changed out 1/2 of it on the passenger side and now I only use 1/2 to 1 quart every 6,000 miles.

I hope my GLK has this warning. It just spring an oil leak.
You can check your owners manual, im pretty sure it has the same warning. I would work best with a slow oil leak.... and wear is the leak from?
Liqui Moly 😩🔥
You like that stuff?

For the W204 m271s, you'll need 2L exact.
Did it ever come back ?
@@victorcarrillo3710 no. If it does, you're in trouble.
I needed 2 quarts to be a medium
On my 2013 C250
Hey so I keep getting the same light but I have check the engine dip stick it has 95% of its oil so I am kinda confused what causing this?
I’m not sure but the level is pretty sensitive to how level the car. like my drive way is inclined just a little and it makes a big difference.
Same here!

Ya man mine says the same thing when I get up to speed but when it's cool the oil level is full so i cant even add anymore

I changed the oil to another brand and it was fine
What did you change it to?

Stick? My car doesn’t have that!chesuss
which one you have? If it’s a E320 you can measure it from inside the car.

@@latuba27 Just make sure it meets the specification in the owners manual. I think 229.5 or the very least it says "European car formula."
