hey man i've never seen your videos before and i just sorta clicked on this on a whim, but u seem like such a sweet person im really happy for u dude. in ur video you talked about wanted to help young trans youth and while that doesnt apply to me, im about to be a junior in highscool right now and i've got a lot of transgender friends who are really struggling right now. its heartbreaking having to watch them grow up uncomfortable and unhappy with the way they look and feel about themselves and not being able to help. and i dont even know if ur the type of person o read ur comments or anything but just seeing how happy you are gives me hope for their futures. so thanks for doing what you do man. ill definitely tell them to check out your book. :^)

I really really want to read your memoir, you're the guy who inspired me, you're the guy who helped me realise I'm trans, you're the first trans guy I heard of (4 years ago when I was 11), you already know I chose the name skyler because your name is skylar, but you mean a hell of a lot to me even though you don't even know who I am, sadly I live in the U.K. So I'll never be able to meet you :( but what book shops in the U.K. Will sell your memoir? Also this is random but when I'm 18 (I'm only 15 now) but when I'm 18 I want to get the tattoo "Human." But I want it written in the handwriting of someone who inspires me, and you inspire me, so if you have time could you write "Human." I just finished reading it last night. Your channel and now book have really opened my eyes to the struggles that transgender people deal with on a daily basis. I can relate, being a part of the LGBTQ+ community, but I had it relatively easy. I hope this book, your channel, and your continued work help others who are struggling with being trans. I am reading your memoir, now I am at around 22% (right after "CANCER")
It feels like I am reading my own story, but of course there are some differences. The parts which resonate most with me are how you thought you would go through the male puberty, that people were just making a mistake, and how the Internet allows to be yourself.

Robitissun its cough medicine it helps with my panic attacks, that and aspirin.
It took me a long time to get past just a few pages, my friend. It is okay to stop, it is okay to try again, or it is okay to try something new :) Go you! and thank you for the advice. i am seeing my psychiatrist this week too, for suggestions.

You are an amazing guy. When I was in high school I struggled through everything I didnt know who I was. The most inspiring video you have is the one you did for the 1 year on testosterone. I got this book! I'm reading this thing! It's been a while since I've related so much to the people I'm reading about.
I found your book like 2 days after my Birthday Oct 25th and I'm so happy I did, I may or may not be trans but it honestly helped me sorta find out more about my gender identity. I'm technically female but I don't know what I am now lol but I am just a 14 year old at the moment, but thank you anyway and your book is truly amazing and so are you.

By the way, I come from Hong Kong, and I am kinda shocked that you and your friends used to question together whether or not some of you are bisexual.
Here in Hong Kong (at least in my Catholic school), these are not talked about because anyone who says they are not straight would draw so much attention (in a bad way).
Being cis straight is the norm and having another sexual orientation is a wrong thing here.
Teachers would definitely not stop people from harassing gay students because they see gay students as problematic (of course, some teachers find that okay, but they can't do a thing).
There is also no gay straight alliance club nor other LGBTQ+ related clubs...
And the most annoying thing is, it was around 2004-2006 when you were studying in high school, but I have just graduated from my high school (2022 June).
Of course, because my school is very strict in discipline, there is minimal bullying. And I am really thankful for that.
