But but my experience in rollercoaster tycoon has taught me that water features are useless. You may say that videogames have some limitation in simulating a themepark. But Disneys descisions for the parks make more sense if you see it this way.
Haha, I love this perspective and do believe lots can be learnt from Rollercoaster Tycoon! But personally, I have to disagree with the game in this instance. Thanks for sharing this, I love the game but haven't played in a while! Maybe I need to look a bit more into this! Thanks for watching!
I was JUST talking to someone about how I'm sad that magic kingdom is changing that area because moving water and natural looking spaces add so much to the homey and familiar feelings of a theme park vs. something that feels completely man made and sometimes uncomfortable to hang out in. (would you rather sit on the ground of galaxy's edge, or take a break around the pond in hollywood studios? Would you rather hang out and take a rest with a calming view at rivers of america or stand in the middle of every big walkway behind the castle where it's mostly concrete?)
Exactly! Spaces like the rivers of America are so important in a theme park! There needs to be a good balance of both relaxing spaces and built up areas!
It really is such a great feature within a theme park! It will be very interesting to see the effect of getting rid of the Rivers of America! Thanks for watching!
Very well reasoned video! I think Disney would be making a terrible mistake if they fill in the Rivers of America.
Thank you very much! It's hard to imagine Frontierland without it! The loss will definitely have a big impact! Thanks for watching!

Water is such an easy, cost efficient kinetic effect. It's such a shame that Disney will be getting rid of that river.

Does that mean the water around the Cinderella castle goes away?
No, only the Rivers of America in Frontierland is going. Thankfully, the water around the castle is staying! Thanks for watching!
