2023 WAS CRAZY 🇯🇵 My street photography in Tokyo is evolving

2023 had many challenges but also a ton of rewarding experiences; I've seen my photography style evolve into something that I think is very uplifting, especially in this massive city.
Enjoy a few photos from this year. Some were captured on my Leica M10, Leica Q, and Leica M6, with various lenses and film stocks. There's no better place for street photography in the world than Tokyo, IMO.

Always love the videos. Some great work here. Really enjoying the colour works. The blue of the sign Odakyu, the arrow pointing up, the stairs going down at 2:07 just brilliant stuff. Loved it.

So, so good. Some real bangers in there and coherent across the digital/film divide, which is interesting. I wonder if having Leica M in both makes it more transparent? Loved finding your channel and the genuine sense of fellowship that comes through. Would LOVE to get there! Have an even better 2024. At least you won’t be immersed in US politics! Cheers, Don

This is great stuff. Are there any rules in Japan regarding exhibiting street portraits without model releases, etc.?

Thanks! I'm sure there are, especially when commercial work is concerned. I don't do that work anymore, so it's nice to be on the outside! 😉
