German Shorthair Puppy's FIRST WILD BIRD HUNT! Extreme Terrain! Abandoned Cabin Found!

Part of my vision for my fly fishing channel was to do an occasional hunting video or two during the fishing off season. Thus the name Fly Fish Hunter. So, here it is, my first hunting video featuring my new German Shorthair Pointer "Star". In this video we travel to Eastern Oregon to hunt chukars in the mountains. This terrain is really rough and extreme and is very hard on dogs and hunters alike. Unfortunately, there we not a lot of birds but we managed to get a few and I think Star did great for a 5 month old pup.
I realized after this hunt that I need to get a camera mount for my head so I have better shot angles. I'll have that ready for next season. Also, sorry again for the few camera glitches that I had on this hunt. I tried my best but trust me, it's more frustrating for me than for you. lol! Anyway, I learned a lot and I look forward to doing more hunting videos with Star next fall when the season opens up again.
