- Here is some footage I shot (on regular VHS) of the incredible Mirage Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, barely 6 weeks after it opened in late November of 1989. I got the volcano erupting (twice!) and got some footage of both the inside and outside of this gorgeous place. This was taped in January, 1990.

I miss that old style of the volcano eruption, no music, no choreographed stylized dancing fire display, it just used to have an organic natural volcano look to it, but of course its all a moot point when they demolish it :(
