it makes sense for the ending, because she's by herself throughout the song. At the beginning her family (Elsa, Kristoff, Sven, Olaf) was so tightly knit, but towards the end she becomes less dependent on them through their disappearances. And the "I'm not alone anymore" might refer to her becoming less focused on her family and focused towards her kingdom and her life as its caretaker, thus accepting a much larger 'family' and a bigger role in life.
@@ghostsomenswho Indeed, it was planned to be instead of "Some things never change" but the crew wanted an expositional song that showed all our main characters and not just Anna

It is criminal to cut this from the movie for the "bless this happiness we've found, bless this good and solid ground" line alone. That line hits me like a punch to the gut everytime I hear it it makes me so emotional.
Tell me about it! When I first heard the song today, it's in part thanks to those lines that I simply broke and couldn't hold back the tears anymore. They made me think of my own childhood home and the beauty of my home country. This is my favourite song of the movie.
This would’ve been so sweet to see, especially if they had tied in how she’s finally able to get to know the kingdom because the gates are permanently open. I’m crying, wish frozen 2 hadn’t felt so rushed plot wise
A side note-- well, a little character thing. At 1:43 Anna's swinging on a swing-- where she then swings forward into a bunch of people. In the first movie, during Do you Wanna Build a Snowman, one of the paintings Anna jumped up in front of was of a woman singing-- Anna completely alone. And now Anna actually gets to swing, she's not alone anymore c: Wish they didn't cut the song. I would've loved to see it fully animated
This song is exactly why there should be a third movie. It shows how much Anna cares about her people and why she would make a great queen. She goes out of her way to make everyone happy regardless of age or status.
@@michaeldbalance you call racing into fire that her sister is fighting and almost dying because of her actions mature?! Elsa didn't need the distraction from her work on the fire and Elsa was being responsible by protecting everyone in the forest. If Anna wanted to help she should been trying to fight the fire too.
@@michaeldbalance she hasn't changed anything but looks. She spent most of the movie so obsessed with her sister that if she hadn't cut the cord she would have put herself in danger again. That was the whole reason that her boyfriend couldn't pop the question because she couldn't pay attention to anything beside Elsa.
In the movie, Anna becoming queen felt so random and out of the blue, like it was just so Elsa could leave rather than Anna being a better candidate for the throne. This would provide better structure to that though, which makes it such a shame that this was removed. Can we have Frozen, but with all the interesting parts intact? Like the library? The cutscene where Iduna talks about how much she trusts Anna to get through to her sister? This? Get This Right?
The scene with anna sitting in a rock by the ocean then gets splashed reminded me of the scene where ariel sang the last part of part of your world Then the scene with her in the swing reminded me of rapunzel and Idk why
There's a whole lot of references to different movies in Frozen Also the scene where Elsa climbed on the rock while going to that river thing was resembling Ariel
I can tell why most of the other scenes were taken out of the movie, but this is the first deleted scene which I genuinely believe should have been kept in. Not only is the song absolutely incredible and beautiful, but it fits the profound topics which the rest of the movie and other songs like Some Things Never Change tackle. Plus the scene is quite entertaining. This fits in beautifully with her story and character arc and development, and perfectly adds to the stakes. It grounds us in actually caring about Arendelle as a place before it gets ravaged by the elements at the start and end of the movie (almost). It shows why she would make a good queen there. It let's us know how she is dependent on the relationships with her family, which would have made The Next Right Thing even more emotionally devastating than it already was. For all these reasons, it was a perfect song which definitely should have been left in the movie. It upsets me that this was taken out.
But this is about Anna only. From the director and producer's perspective, introducing Anna, Kristoff and Olaf again all in one song is more beneficial to them. And Some Things Never Change would appeal more to children, I guess. This song is quite mature and fit with adults more.
@@VuTran-mf7kj Why couldn't they just use both? Most of the underlying themes of this movie are extremely dark, so that wouldn't be a reason to exclude this song.
@@Koolstr This song and "Some things never change" are both introduction songs. We can only use one of them. Otherwise where else would you put this song? After "Some things never change", the group heads straight to their adventure at night.
@@VuTran-mf7kj I personally don't qualify this as an intro song, but rather a character focus song. It also doesn't make sense to try to jam it into the existing movie layout, you gotta think that if they would use it they would work in the filming so it has a proper place.
I’m really happy that in frozen 2 when Anna Does becomes Queen. She wants everything to do with arendell while Elsa (as known from the first movie) wanted nothing to really do but to be left alone and felt as if she didn’t belong as queen of arendell
I know this was meant to be an intro song, but I think it would fit nicely at the end, maybe the day of Anna’s coronation, had it been in the film. It’s sweet and Kristen Bell’s voice is beautiful! I get why it was cut though.
Maybe it's - the fact that I had just finished watching the film for the first time - how, in comparison to many of the other songs, this song feels more humble and simple, like the times of my own childhood home - the feeling of community I get from the storyboard and the townsfolk joining in the song at the song's finale - Anna blessing "this good and solid ground" reminding me of the beauty of my home country - the late afternoon sun gently shining into my quiet room that made me break out ugly-crying by the end of the song. This is easily my favourite (would-be) song of the movie.
For introverts, they relate to Elsa more. While for extroverts, they relate to Anna more, or they like her more. And since there aren't a lot of introverts, extroverts understand Anna most, which I csn understand since shexs more outgoing, she voices her worries, and she faces it head on. While it's the opposite to Elsa. In the first movie, Elsa chose to live in the faraway place where she can be free. She ran away from her problems, and chose to live away from the place where everyone can judge the 'new queen' which is in her song 'Let It Go'. Anna can be a better queen, because she understands the people more, and she isn't an aloof girl who will sometimes be afraid of somethings Elsa will, like people's judgement. And she's more vocal, so the people can reach out to her. Though all of these are just based on my observation from people I meet in real life. In this song and other deleted scenes or songs, I can see and understand how pure and kind Anna is. Anyone would want her to be the queen, seeing as how caring and lovely she is.
This is only my opinion, but I understand Elsa completely. We're the same, and I know how scary it is to be different, not understanding yourself. and all. I still like her more. I'm an ambivert, though😂
I personally prefer Anna, and I’m definitely an introvert. I can’t completely relate to her (aside from being equally as awkward), but her personality is so endearing! Elsa’s lovely too, of course!
@@cerisejaxel9636 I understand☺I'm an ambivert, but prefer Elsa more. The above comment was only based on my observation in real life. Most socialy awkward people prefers Elss, while extroverts prefer Anna. Sometimes it's the opposite, but only a few.
Love that the way she’s moving about the town reminds me of the sequence for “Belle” even though Anna clearly loves her home town a bit more than belle😄
Aye, very nice :) A bummer it was cut! As so many ppl state it is good 'cinematic cement', in Elsa's decision to have Anna become queen. Movies today are always so quick to get to the dramatic, conflict stuff..we don't get enough 'air' before that happens..quality time..like the charades scene and the fine, 'Some things never change' part..all very good..a few more mins of this state would make for Frozen2 being a 95% fabulous movie to 99% :)
hey DISNEY hear me out! make movie shorts after the events of frozen 2 using these deleted scenes. that would be great like *frozen fever* and *olaf's frozen adventure* purrrrretty please. 😍
Anna was such a vanilla character, this song makes her have more personality and connection to Arrendelle. Some Things Never Changed works too. But this should have definetly been in the movie still at the end, especially with the last somg being a sad song.
its like they wrote the movie but deleted everything good about it. oh, a catchy song that also adds to the plot? delete. smh this wouldve been such good foreshadowing about anna being queen because it shows how much she cares about her people. i mean, i predicted it at the start of the movie but this song wouldve added something instead of anna becoming a queen all of a sudden. :/
These are such good songs and cut scenes that I love them so much. I just wish they had included these old storylines. Perhaps by making the movie longer.
I can't say if it's the breeze as it blows through the fjord Or the creaking of the ships as old board meets old board Either way for what it's worth this perfect corner of the earth Is home My home Wandering through the town with everyone doing all of their stuff Somewhere in my heart I feel, I've not yet done enough For these people I know, this place that I love so My home My home *whistling* I whistle as I walk, a lovely smell of kransekake Walking out of the baker's door The merchants haggling over fish remind me I have what I wish 'Cause I'm not alone anymore. *Whistling* I'm grateful for this castle And for everything we've got Especially my family We've all been through a lot I know how fragile things can be If I lost them, I'd lose me They're my ocean, they're my shore I wanna give them more They're my home My home Bless this happiness we found Bless this good and solid ground Our home Our home (Our home) (Our home) (Our home) (Our home) (Our home) (Our home) (Our home) I'm home
Seriously! This really would have driven home her love for her kingdom and should have DEFINITELY been included in the movie. Before, when she saves the forest, it all seems out of obligation. My sister died for this information, I have to right this wrong blah blah blah. I would have been so much better to feel her torment when she broke the dam. Feel the intense relief when Elsa stopped the wave. Other than it just being to save their house (that's what it felt like) Also, I was happy Anna became Queen. It fit her better, she's a people person, etc, but this would have made it amazing. Instead we got a song based on Olaf being worried about change? Awesome. Ya know, now that I'm thinking about it? This movie practically spoon fed us the plot. Song about some things never change, uh-oh change happens, this is going to transform all of us. >__>
this song reminds me of ‘for the first time in forever’ when Anna jumps to each and every painting and fits in, just now she’s more developed all the deleted scenes are the scenes we wished we had.
Yeah..they shouldve kept this..because it would maakes so much sense why anna would be ok being queen suddenly..rather than now..where she suddenly becomes queen and be just.."yeah cool ok"
Anna gave me such an obsessed vibe in frozen2. Like she was so worried about Elsa so much that she would do dumb things like run into fire while being the sister without ICE powers. I feel like if they had this instead of some things never change, it would've had such a different vibe. I wouldn't think she's so obsessed with staying with Elsa and keeping everything stay the way it is forever. It shows how much she loves Arendelle which would tie in how hard it would be to break the dam and how much she loves the kingdom. I saw on the storyboard video for Get This Right, a few people commented that they always take out the songs/scenes that really show the characters personality and I couldn't agree more.
Now, that's just not my favorite deleted scene, but it's also my favorite song, along with included in movie songs, like Show Yourself, Into the Unknown, When I'm Older, etc.
It would had been nice if they kept this song, since Anna became queen at the end it would had shown her love for the people and her wish to be able to do more for them
It's rather interesting seeing everyone's differing opinions about this song Frozen 2,,,, for people saying 'this should've been in the movie' I would really recommend watching the behind-the-scenes series on the making of Frozen 2. It gives a super cool insight on its making and why they cut this song and others out~
Loved this song so much, actually most of the deleted ones are gold and would make Frozen 2 so deeper. Home gives me "Belle" feelings, but the opposite. Belle sings about her place but dreaming about somewhere else while Home is about Anna's love for Arendelle. Still, quite similar and makes me wonder if the producers didn't feel the same. (It happened with the deleted song Beyond the laughing sky in Alice in the Wonderland, they decided to delete it because it sounded so much like Somewhere Over the Rainbow).
I wish they would use this as the opening for a spin-off at least, for the sequel? Even better! This song is absolutely beautiful and I'd hate to see this go to waste
These deleted scenes and sings seem to tell of a very different cut of the story, doesnt it? And yet it seems like many of the ideas that were written into the script with these deleted bits in mind were kept exactly the same, like Anna becoming queen seeming abrupt and baseless without this song and possibly some missing dialogue. Or maybe the dialogue wouldnt be needed when this contrasts to Into the Unknown so perfectly
definitely not. on-the-fly lyric and dialogue edits happen all the time in movies - and many occurred even very late into the production of this movie, as seen in the making-of documentary. a single line of dialogue that could be easily edited out or switched to something else (especially at this earlier stage of development) wouldn't have influenced a huge decision like cutting an entire recorded & storyboarded song from the movie. sadly, the actual reasons for the song's cut are much more depressing, and made very apparent through the documentary. on the executive level of things, the creative process for the crew working on this movie was completely stifled by micro-management and compulsive screening feedback, much more-so than is normal for an animated movie. it's a tragedy, but this is the industry norm at the moment.
Ppl argues in comments who would be a better queen and which one cares more about Arendenians. The truth is that THIS song just gives us more background to how a good queen Anna will be ('cause she is at the end of the movie). Without it, the whole coronation doesn't make any sense, at least to me. I would've been more than happy to see this song or any other in the movie itself, so the ending would be more clear and understandable for the audience. Without it, Elsa and Anna in the movie have the same assets for being Arendelle's queen.
I wish they kept this in. Seriously all the deleted scenes I wish they kept in. All of them are much more fun and full of life than the actual movie. The movie just felt so overly centric on Elsa and her powers that it sucked all the happiness in the second movie. Elsa is just a very dull character that when they focus to long on her her it feels boring. But Anna she is such a fun character. I wish she had more fun scenes like this in the second movie, but all she does is worry about her sister throughout. She doesnt have her other personality traits with her except for caring for her sister in the second movie. It feels like this side of her was missing, and I really wish they could make a remake of Frozen 2 because watching these deleted scenes show how they could of made Frozen 2 a whole better.
And what Anna really got was more of a depressing song of The Next Right Thing. Some Things Never Change didn't really focus much on Anna. With this, we get more emotional.
I loved the nod to Isreal "IZ" on the ukulele! The whole song is amazing and I hope they use this on extras or even release fully animated deleted scenes on one DVD.
It's just funny how we enjoy animated movies' deleted scenes more than the actual movies themselves these days. I don't know if they just prefer to settle for less or not.
I wish they had put this in!! This shows the differences between Anna and Elsa! Elsa longs to know other places and other things but for Anna Arendelle is all shes wanted for so long it really shows that and as many other commenters have said it gives background for why she would make such a good queen
This song explains why Anna would make a great queen. She cares for Arendelle and their people.

Kkkkkkkk
That song would've been use for the end of the movie.
No, I'm pretty sure it was going to be instead of "some things never change" at the beginning
it makes sense for the ending, because she's by herself throughout the song.
@@owo_xanax5200 honestly it wasn't necessary, if they really wanted to make anna the new queen they had to have chosen to work her with the people and their love for the homeland instead of a group song with no reason to actually exist and it would still give more weight to her music" the right thing to do"
So they basically deleted most of the fun songs ? -_-
Seems like it.
And other amazing scenes
They didnt deleted this scene, but they deleted this scene from the movie 😎
I mean olaf song got deleted and untillllll now still wondering why!!!........sue them😕😕😑😑😑
yeah and they took out “get this right” which i love so much 😕
It is criminal to cut this from the movie for the "bless this happiness we've found, bless this good and solid ground" line alone.
Victoria Scherini IKR 1. THEY RUSHED IT 2. ANNA AND KRISTOFF WERE BARELY IN THE MOVIE LIKE WHAT HXHXJSUE
“either way for what it’s worth, this perfect corner of the earth is home, my home” is a completely wholesome and underrated line
And now Anna actually gets to swing, she's not alone anymore c:
Wish they didn't cut the song. I would've loved to see it fully animated
This song is exactly why there should be a third movie. It shows how much Anna cares about her people and why she would make a great queen. She goes out of her way to make everyone happy regardless of age or status.
Plus it show if she has finally learned to look before she leaps considering how many times has she almost gotten killed by her recklessness.
@@theresahall1591 she's matured beyond that. She's no longer reckless and impulsive.
@@theresahall1591 I meant to say, that she's matured overall.
Gotta say...
**This** is the Frozen II that I wanted to see...
The scene with anna sitting in a rock by the ocean then gets splashed reminded me of the scene where ariel sang the last part of part of your world
Then the scene with her in the swing reminded me of rapunzel and Idk why
And her singing through the town like Belle
Rapunzel has big Naruto energy, maybe that's why. Also: hair swing
There's a whole lot of references to different movies in Frozen
Also the scene where Elsa climbed on the rock while going to that river thing was resembling Ariel
The begining sound like "Riptide"
Yeppp !! xD And at 0:18 you can see people playing ukulele... one of theme looks like the famous Hawaiian singer Israel Kamakawiwo’ole
@@Dafni2000 probably disney made a tribute to him
Oh yea it does!
“It’s not creepy because I know her.” That part was funny 😂
Ikr 🤣
I know this was meant to be an intro song, but I think it would fit nicely at the end, maybe the day of Anna’s coronation, had it been in the film. It’s sweet and Kristen Bell’s voice is beautiful! I get why it was cut though.
I think it would have fit better in the end as well.
Maybe it's
- the fact that I had just finished watching the film for the first time
- how, in comparison to many of the other songs, this song feels more humble and simple, like the times of my own childhood home
- the feeling of community I get from the storyboard and the townsfolk joining in the song at the song's finale
- Anna blessing "this good and solid ground" reminding me of the beauty of my home country
- the late afternoon sun gently shining into my quiet room
that made me break out ugly-crying by the end of the song. This is easily my favourite (would-be) song of the movie.
1:20 "Cause im not alone anymore " I felt that ...
I swear this would of been a hit like let it go agesss agooo
As so many ppl state it is good
'cinematic cement', in Elsa's decision to have Anna become queen.
Anna still remains my favorite Disney princess!!!
I believe that this song is so powerful that provides a positive feeling of getting through the difficulties of live
Imagine this song at the beginning, and Arendelle being destroyed at the end
its like they wrote the movie but deleted everything good about it. oh, a catchy song that also adds to the plot? delete. smh this wouldve been such good foreshadowing about anna being queen because it shows how much she cares about her people. i mean, i predicted it at the start of the movie but this song wouldve added something instead of anna becoming a queen all of a sudden. :/
"IT'S NOT CREEPY CAUSE I KNOW HER"
I loved this song since it was published on Spotify, thank you for uploading this!
Omg this would have been SO MUCH BETTER than that song in the movie about how nothing will ever change and then everything changes for ever....
This would be a perfect song for a potential frozen 3
These are such good songs and cut scenes that I love them so much. I just wish they had included these old storylines. Perhaps by making the movie longer.
the fact that all the outtake/deleted scene/songs much better than the ones in the movie lol
"It's not creepy because I know her!" Oh Anna...😅
I can't say if it's the breeze as it blows through the fjord
Or the creaking of the ships as old board meets old board
Either way for what it's worth this perfect corner of the earth
Is home
My home
Wandering through the town with everyone doing all of their stuff
Somewhere in my heart I feel, I've not yet done enough
For these people I know, this place that I love so
My home
My home
*whistling*
I whistle as I walk, a lovely smell of kransekake
Walking out of the baker's door
The merchants haggling over fish remind me I have what I wish
'Cause I'm not alone anymore.
*Whistling*
I'm grateful for this castle
And for everything we've got
Especially my family
We've all been through a lot
I know how fragile things can be
If I lost them, I'd lose me
They're my ocean, they're my shore
I wanna give them more
They're my home
My home
Bless this happiness we found
Bless this good and solid ground
Our home
Our home
(Our home)
(Our home)
(Our home)
(Our home)
(Our home)
(Our home)
(Our home)
I'm home
Thank you so much.
the whistling part is so wholesome
this song reminds me of ‘for the first time in forever’ when Anna jumps to each and every painting and fits in, just now she’s more developed
all the deleted scenes are the scenes we wished we had.
"It's not creepy cuz I know her"
😂😂😂
Before I saw the storyboard, I imagined Anna kicking the palace doors open right before the last “I’m home” Just seems like something she’d do
😂😂
The deleted scenes in Frozen 1 and 2 are ironically better than the released movies.
Yeah..they shouldve kept this..because it would maakes so much sense why anna would be ok being queen suddenly..rather than now..where she suddenly becomes queen and be just.."yeah cool ok"
Wished they haven’t deleted this, it’s so good.
i hope it can make into frozen III, the song and the whole idea is so beautiful and i think it would be fitting
When are they gonna release I seek the truth
Does it have? Can't wait!
i don't think idina menzel and kristen bell ever recorded the song
Bobby Pham god dammit!
Bobby Pham but this is also stated to be an outtake on the deluxe soundtrack if that means anythibg
It's already released
That's would've been beautiful in the sequel.
Now, that's just not my favorite deleted scene, but it's also my favorite song, along with included in movie songs, like Show Yourself, Into the Unknown, When I'm Older, etc.
All of these deleted scenes are SO GOOD
How nice of all these people to be quiet when you wanna have that last i'm home at the end for yourself!
It would had been nice if they kept this song, since Anna became queen at the end it would had shown her love for the people and her wish to be able to do more for them
1:33-1:54 made me more emotional than the entirety of the finished Frozen 2
0:53 the way she just morphes
These deleted scenes and sings seem to tell of a very different cut of the story, doesnt it? And yet it seems like many of the ideas that were written into the script with these deleted bits in mind were kept exactly the same, like Anna becoming queen seeming abrupt and baseless without this song and possibly some missing dialogue. Or maybe the dialogue wouldnt be needed when this contrasts to Into the Unknown so perfectly
"It's not creepy cause I know her!!" This is so cute but probably one of the reasons this song sadly didn't make it into the official film 🥺
definitely not. on-the-fly lyric and dialogue edits happen all the time in movies - and many occurred even very late into the production of this movie, as seen in the making-of documentary. a single line of dialogue that could be easily edited out or switched to something else (especially at this earlier stage of development) wouldn't have influenced a huge decision like cutting an entire recorded & storyboarded song from the movie.
sadly, the actual reasons for the song's cut are much more depressing, and made very apparent through the documentary. on the executive level of things, the creative process for the crew working on this movie was completely stifled by micro-management and compulsive screening feedback, much more-so than is normal for an animated movie. it's a tragedy, but this is the industry norm at the moment.
This is much better than any other songs in the film.
"ITS NOT CREEPY CAUSE I KNOW HER"😅
U know what, they should put these deleted songs in frozen 3
If you add this we understand that anna really a good queen in her people too
“It’s not creepy ‘cause I know her!” Lol
That almost made me cry
Ppl argues in comments who would be a better queen and which one cares more about Arendenians. The truth is that THIS song just gives us more background to how a good queen Anna will be ('cause she is at the end of the movie). Without it, the whole coronation doesn't make any sense, at least to me. I would've been more than happy to see this song or any other in the movie itself, so the ending would be more clear and understandable for the audience. Without it, Elsa and Anna in the movie have the same assets for being Arendelle's queen.
There are so many good songs/scenes with Anna that were cut and should not have been. Kristen Bell has an amazing voice! 😀🧡
Home is such a beautiful song and it shows so much more culture!!!!
This looks like great foreshadowing to Anna becoming Queen of Arendelle. I reckon she'll be a wonderful queen.
It pains me that this wasnt put into the film.
And what Anna really got was more of a depressing song of The Next Right Thing. Some Things Never Change didn't really focus much on Anna. With this, we get more emotional.
This is such a good transition to her taking up the throne
I loved the nod to Isreal "IZ" on the ukulele! The whole song is amazing and I hope they use this on extras or even release fully animated deleted scenes on one DVD.
Anna: It’s not creepy cause I know her!
Me: **Dies of Laughter**
This song is amazing and I love it.
Somethings Never Change is ok, but this is so cute and explains why Anna makes a great queen
Wow! All of these change the plot so much and I really think for the better!! I love these!
This is so much better than "Some Things Never Change".
I wish this was on frozen 3!
