- Unsurprisingly, this is one of my all-time favorite recipes. Creamy cream, delicate cakes. Everyone loves this recipe and is very happy when I make it for the whole family. I do this a lot for friends and family because they love it. Very easy to do for everyone. Just follow the simple steps and voila, the delicious cake is ready and everyone is happy. Try this easy and delicious recipe and let me know in the "How do you like it?" Good day friends!
Recipe and Ingredients:
🧡2 eggs.
💛150 grams of sugar.
💙60 g corn starch.
Mix everything well.
💜500ml milk.
🧡Brew the cream thickly over medium heat, stirring constantly.
💛Let the cream cool down.
💙100ml water.
💛100ml milk.
🧡 a pinch of salt.
💜80g butter.
💚As soon as the butter has melted, add 120 g of flour.
Mix everything well.
💛 Cook the dough for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Let the mixture cool down a little
💛 Add 3 eggs one at a time.
💙Cake pan 20cm.
💚 Halve the dough.
Bake for 10-15 minutes at 200 ° C
Beat 🧡160 g butter (room temperature) until frothy.
💙Vanillin.
💚 Gradually add the cooled cream.
💙The temperature of cream and butter must be the same.
💛 Collect cake.
🧡 Put in a cool place to stabilize the cream for at least 3 hours.
Recipe in cups 👇
🧡2 eggs.
💛3 / 4 cup of sugar.
💙4 tbsp corn starch.
Mix everything well.
💜2.5 cups of milk.
🧡Brew the cream thickly over medium heat, stirring constantly.
🧡Let the cream cool down.
💛1 / 2 cup of water.
💙1 / 2 cup of milk.
💛 a pinch of salt.
🧡4 tbsp butter.
💜As soon as the butter has melted, add 6-7 tablespoons of flour.
Mix everything well.
💙 Cook the dough for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
💛Let the mixture cool down a little.
💚 Add 3 eggs one at a time.
💜Baking pan 8 inches.
🧡 Halve the dough.
💛10-15 minutes at 395 F. to bake
Beat 💙8 tbsp butter (room temperature) until frothy.
💙Vanillin.
💛 Gradually add the cooled cream.
🧡The temperature of cream and butter must be the same.
💜 Collect cake.
💚 Put in a cool place to stabilize the cream for at least 3 hours.

I remember this recipe as a cream puff or eclair. Very good if u can wait that long for it to set. The cream alone is worth eating with a spoon.

It's a cream puff cake. Essentially what you've made is a pastry cream and two large cream puffs made with petit chou. It looks delicious for sure.

Much easier than I thought. I love any pastries with custard. Yum yum 😋
For final touch, I would add fresh fruit on top, any kind of berries. Not on entire cake, just on each serving. Left over cake with berries on top isn't pretty and it will make cake soggy.

This would be keto friendly if the cake was able to substitute the flour for almond flour instead. Also, would be gorgeous using double pure cream for half the amount of the milk and the other half of the milk remain the same. Could even melt chocolate in the cream and create a swirly pattern. I bet you could use almond flour instead. And swerve suger sub as well.

I'm making mine just as Chef did, for the 1st one, then I want to try lemon, coffee, fruit jelly flavors (spread on the cakes, before the cream filling is added). Also, my thanks for conversions to American measures & Fahrenheit heat, instead of Centigrade.
Try a mix with a very slight amount of coconut flour added to the almond flour…let us know if you made it yet & if so-then how did it turn out?

We call this Cream Puff dessert. Made in a 9 x 13 pan. Crust on the bottom only....and pudding & whipped cream.

So, it’s basically an eclair cake made with pate a choux (layers) and pastry cream (filling). We call it a “Moon Pie” because of the crater look of the pate a choux when it bakes in a layer form. I’ve been making these for MANY years, in a jelly roll pan form (no top crust layer though), topping the pastry cream with whipped cream mixed with cream cheese, then drizzle with thick chocolate fudge sauce. So good! I’ll give this version a try! 😋❤️

I once made this popover dough, and dropped it by tablespoon on cookie sheet. When they were through baking and cooled off, I sliced them open and filled them with chicken salad and served them at a home party. So good! Glh

This is what I loved about being a Military wife. I got to travel all over and meet other wives who married American soldiers. It was such a great opportunity to learn about food and other cultures! I'm so glad I found this video because we've settled in the Midwest, I don't get to travel as much and I don't get the opportunity to meet with wives from overseas.
