Dirtlej MTB Clothing, so lets start right at the beginning, Dirtlej have some great packaging, and its good to see a company caring about the environment with its reclye ability for its boxes and packets, good on ya Dirtlej as mountain bikers we really should about the environment, so we are off to a great start. The tshirts come in a kind of slip case, and the trousers in a well constructed box, with all the info and man or woman could want.

I will trying on 3 pairs of dirtlej mtb shorts today, a full water proof version, and half and half and a full Summer version to keep ya bits cool with out on those trails,
First up we have the Dirtlej half and half, meaning the front part of the shorts is very breathable, and back part is fully waterproof much akin to the same amterial as the onsie , which you all I know I love, it was one of the best purchases I feel i have bought.
All thfree Dirtlej mtb shorts come in slightly different colours, and all have key colours to make they pop a little, be that cyan. or a punchy yellow. The first thing that hits you with dirtlej is the quality, they all feel so well built, no issues with seems, or zips breaking, and they dont seem to tear easily even when the dreaded brambles grab you as you blast down that singletrack.
All the Dirtlej shorts have the ability to tighten or let out the waistline making them very snug, rear pockets have eyeholes to let water out, and all have a button and snap studs to connect the front zip area.
The front pockets are not the biggest, possible a little small for a mobile phone, but money, or snickey snacks will fit easily and the zips are very well made, with water proffing pockets
The Dirtlej summer version is extremely soft and durable, I have worn all 3 pairs of these shorts in failry warm weather and all were very comfortable with no rubbing, or discomfort even on 30+ mile mtb rides.
Initially I did feel they were a little wide in the leg, but these are not fashion shorts, they are meant to be able to move your knees and legs easily, and they work very well for riders who wear full knee and shin pads, with no restriction in movement.
Dirtlej also sent over a few mountain bike tops, I struggled to know what to say about these, I put them on hit the trails and forgot i was wearing them, they are so soft and comfortable, and the 3/4 sleeves version really has grown on me. Not only do they look cool, but they kept me warm in the colder temperatures and nice and cool in the hot weather, and they also look great for general wearing rather than just being on the bike. So thumbs up for me on the tops, I like them a lot.
The Dirtlej Mountee Jersey offers high wearing comfort thanks to its comfortable drirelease® material. And they claim it dries four times faster than cotton, but has the comfortable feel of cotton. In addition, it prevents odors and is very durable - made to last for years to come.
Having ridden in both the shorts and the mountain bike tops I can highly reccomed dirtlej to any rider who wants some really top quality made clothing, thats durable,very comfortable, and looks really rather awesome in its simplicity. Its why Dirtlej is one of my favourite brands... no excuses.

Commit Equip are ace, really well made and designed. The coffin dodger pants and trail hoodies inparticular are exceptional.
Used to be fox but think I'm moving over to troy lee designs, do a ride for your subscribers aswellas patreon
Do they charge import tax?
Subscribers.. I did and last time 32 turned up was chaos. Ride took over 6.5 hours!

I bought some endura burner pants, all graphics have come off, after 6 months. Disappointed as they were expensive.

Awesome video mate it made me chuckle a few times at your jump poses. I’ve recently bought what I call high end MTB trousers and low end trousers basically one cost 40 the other 100. And I must say after only trying on both the low end 40 quid ones are way way warmer. Probably due to them being winter bs summer 😒 🙄
Is the quality of the seems and material as good on the cheaper ones?
Yes I would say it was as good on both. You can usually tell straight away if quality is good or not and yes I was very impressed. I did watch a you tube review on them when I was waiting on them arriving and reviewer was impressed also.
Boots,,, ive been on dirt ledge site and like the look of there gloves,, have ya had ago with them? Anygood?, I normally wear 100% briskers
No not yet. Mate my fix gloves have all ripped after 3 months. If I buy some oll do a review.

I've got the summer shorts in black and the wet weather and half and half in the long leg versions. I'll be honest not sure the long trousers were worth 160, 170 odd. Got one t shirt of theirs too. Made real small too had to size up at least 2 times. The wet weather coat you reviewed I brought too but I have to sat I thought that was dog todd and sent it back to alpine trek as it leaked in through the seams after one shower.
Leaked? Really that's a shame iv been up 3 mountains in horisontal rain and had zero issues. I'm wearing large and fit well do that's really strange.
I found Leatte and endura otning always fell to bits. But I do think Leatte body armour is great
I have their shin elbow and back protectors.
Leatt's gloves are overpriced. Prices are insane.
Butt pockets are pointless.
And would be nice if they did not use coil zippers but the other type, which is more durable.
But other than that they look nice.
Pockets on back yes too loose and fill with water.
