It is actually really handy having so many of them around. It just make life handy if you want to try a part before ordering one 🙂 These Mazda’s are being done by the bucket load here 😂😂😂
The dreaded parts cannon Richard 😂😂😂 Quite possibly should have used a scope, but the other one just looked so easy to fit & test drive afterwards. So I broke the other car and then fixed that a week or so after when the SH exhaust throttle landed. This was around 3 months ago and I got a nice card from the owners mom the other day thanking me. So it must be ok, some nice people out there 🙂🙂
The CX3 is a nice little bus and I’d say you are right on the money with the actuator motor/mechanism at fault. Given that it’s on the exhaust perhaps continuous exposure to heat (of the exhaust system) degrades the electronics over time? 🤷🏻♂️
Hey Damien, I actually recorded this video around 2 months ago. And I repair his mother’s car last week & she said the CX3 was flying. Thank goodness 😅 😅
@@kennedysgarage3281 I was wondering how you were surviving in January in a T-shirt ….granted 2 months ago would be November….i guess it is the sunny south east (even in November!!!) 😁
I actually recorded this a few weeks ago so cannot remember the specifics. So quite possibly, I probably should have used the amp clamp to check. But hopefully it will help anyone with a similar issue on one of these machines 🤞🤞
Have you ever had any issues with white smoke on these ? (not headgasket as i have checked with a tester). Have got the p0100 & p0101 code. Need to take a look at the exhaust camshaft but just trying to get my head around the white smoke, its more evident with higher rev's.
White smoke generally indicates water or steam. Could your egr cooler be after failing & allowing coolant back into the engine through the egr system 🤔🤔🤔
I’m not seeing too much going wrong with them, outside of egr coolers & exhaust pressure sensor pipes blocking. Hopefully a stronger engine than the 2.2 😬😬
A whole Mazda parts bin shaped like a complete car. Fantastic
😂

That OBD does a lot more than the yoke I got for Christmas. Great show Peter. ❤❤
Glad you enjoyed mate 🙏🙏
Very interesting that Peter,it would have been very difficult to condemn that without a donor vehicle, thanks for sharing

Interesting

Very difficult to prove that motor is faulty without the other car. Maybe the motor was drawing too much current. Thanks for the upload.

Is the EGR failing quite common on these engines? ould it be leaking internally elsewhere?@@kennedysgarage3281
Wow u can remotely move it using the OBD. Sweet jesus!!
Yes, most good scantools should be capable of this. It is called Bidirectional controlling. Very handy to use to assist in the repair process 😉👍👍
@@kennedysgarage3281Very handy if someone drives off without paying Peter 😂❤❤
@@bastogne315 it only works through Bluetooth, so no good once the car is gone 😔😔
Nice one , maybe you could of seen some issues with the actuator with a scope ? cheers
Quite possibly, funny enough I only pull out the Pico when stuck. I try to keep things as fast and simple as possible. Weird I know 😬😬
Helli. Can you share a part -number of sensor?
Unfortunately not as the car is gone quite some time now😞😞
That was handy being able compare your own car😂 how you finding that engine?

Здравствуйте! Можете подсказать номер этой запчасти?
Unfortunately I don’t know it. I just search EBay and found it there 😞
Ок, благодарю
