i'am an old man , thanks for bring those topics to You Tube,(the best online educative social media plataform) i studied those topic when i was teen, and today parents tell me, that her son is learning to play guitar, i suggested ",Learn to Read Music". reading music will expand your learning about guitar.
there's very little reason to learn to read music in the very early stages of playing guitar unless you're going for genres such as classical. I think every musician should learn to read it generally as I like sheet music and think it's useful but some people just simply can't vibe with it. And guitar is one of the more forgiving instruments when it comes to sheet reading, most of the greats can't do it. Guitar is quite easy to work things out by ear
This is genuinely very helpful, I have been playing flute for 6 years now and I have been playing in an orchestra for around 4 years. I am the head of our flautists and this helps a lot when I need to sightread a new piece that I haven’t seen before :)
Inyo - thank you so much for putting these rhythm exercises together. I've gone through a couple of semesters of sight reading but that was over 30 years ago. I am learning how to score and these exercises will get me there!
I have a guitar grade exam coming up and this was really helpful for me as was jumping grades and the sightreading level was getting too difficult. Thank you for the effort you did to make this video...
Thank you so much for this. My classmates don't understand how I'm making such fast progress as a beginner musician. There's no secret... Work. I just aced all these challenges, I'm feeling the progress. Hope you'll keep it up!
This approach will be Very helpful in My journey . You break the subject matter down plainly and through your intuitive screen interface , you provide for clear understanding of this . I'm glad I stumbled across your channel . Thank you ! ( I will be donating to you by the way . ) GD
You have no idea how I’ve had trouble with learning rhythms . To me everything is a quarter note . I only do well if I sit near someone who knows what they are doing and I follow them . I am an older beginner violin player .
This was extremely helpful. I can't practice sight-reading at my piano because I'm on a vacation now. I've been playing for 7 years and never knew how to sight-read even the easiest pieces (I just read by measure, taking y time, and memorized). I found many of these challenges very difficult, but I'm getting through learning it.
It's easier to keep up. During the projection of the pulsations, Mark with the touch of the pen on the table. With the constancy of the hearing, I will now read and see the figures in their true sense. Thank.
These look EXACTLY like the excercises from the Robert Starer book, and your instructions on how to go through the excercises are also verrrrrrry similar. You should give credit where its due if you are , as I suspect, using someeone elses material. For anyone seeeing this video- get that book. It goes into great depth and is a much better resource.
Hi, thx for sharing. Sorry, I didn't know about it n haven't read the book yet. But this is what I normally have with my students in regards with the rhythm sight reading. Anyway, thanks for your thoughts...
muchas gracias señor. Pero lo siento, mi español es muy malo. Este es del traductor de google. Tal vez intentaría usar el traductor de Google como título, pero no estoy seguro de si es correcto o no.
That was very amazing I'velearned a lot... You got me ha... 😍😍😍 Now i will subscribe to your Channel... Thank you so much for your videos I enjoy reading.... More videos please.....
Don't use downstems for single line rhythms on one line staves. It looks like you're using Finale based on the font: staff attributes--stem settings--always up.
Yeh wassey badiya hai.. agar iske saath tap kar lo toh u certainly can move on to play while reading sheet music. 😀 👍 Suru suru mein thoda dikat hoti kyunki visual distance havi ho jaata between notes.. but yeah this is I think they play while reading from music sheet. Bravo! 👍🙏
These are great, but the fact that the snare is so laid back to beat is really distracting, I’ve just been doing the exercises with my own metronome haha.
.... Et aussi je préfère le TI KI TI KI pour les doubles croches, mais aussi pour les TRIOLETS TI KI TI ... question de prononciation linguistique je pense.
