    This symphony could be a premonition of Don Giovanni.

    Aki még nem hallotta a 183-as g-moll szimfóniát, az nem hallott még zenét. Ez a mű a zene lényege, feláll a szőr az ember hátán-ahogy mondani szokták. Csak idézni tudom Antal Imrét-aki eléggé járatos volt a zenében- " Hallgatom Mozart-ot és csak az jut eszembe, hogy egy senki vagyok". Ez egy csodálatos tehetségű művész őszinte meghajlása Mozart előtt, s igazán autentikus. Megszámlálhatatlan zenei anyag van a komolyzene világában, de amitől az ember azonnal feszengeni kezd a széken, az már megszámlálható. A 183-as mellé sorolom az istenáldotta Vivaldi Négy évszakát, az Egmont nyitány, Bach D-moll toccata és fúgája, az Air és még néhány hallhatatlan remekmű.

    Why does this sound one half step tuned down from how the piece normally sounds?

    • @iks.7048
      @iks.7048 2 роки тому +1

      Classical era tuning. Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Mozart's tuning fork was a=425hz.

    Is this an extended version of the first movement?

    • @SuperAsalvador

      The symphony is set in 4 movements:
      1. Allegro con brio (0:00)
      2. Andante (10:44)
      3. Menuetto (16:42)
      4. Allegro (20:55)

      The repeats are played here. Most older recordings skip them.

    28 minutes long. Some Conductors take only 20 minutes.

    I hear a Harpsichord. why? Shouldn't it be only the orchestra?

    • @iks.7048
      @iks.7048 2 роки тому +6

      The harpsichord is playing basso continuo, and it was very common at the time for a keyboard player (harpsichord, organ, and later the fortepiano) to double the bass while improvising a right hand part.

    Too many violins in proportion to the lower string instruments. Needs more bass!

      Thread Bomb THANK YOU. it just sounds weird, doesn’t it?!!

    • @ThreadBomb
      @ThreadBomb 6 років тому +2

      Sadly, this is common - "historically informed" performances by orchestras with modern proportions, whereas orchestras of the original time seem to have been weighted more to the lower string instruments. Of course, if they did that now, critics would complain about "scrawny" violins even more than they already do.

    Everyone, who loves Mozart, realizes, that man in blue suit is not Mozart. Who is he?
