I actually dd found a way around this level. Basically I wall-jumped throughout the machine until I got all the coins. My sister calls it cheating, but I call it thinking creatively
Excellent job! I'm currently trying to get all 120 shines, and I just shut off the game out of rage at the lack of physics in this damn thing. I remember back in the day, this never gave me much trouble, but now I can't seem to get it (of course, I only tried it for like 15 minutes today). Even the lily-pad red coin mission wasn't as bad. I am gonna try it this way, next time.

Yeah, the way shown here definitely requires some skill. But, it's leagues better than actually doing it the way the devs intended, because being inside the pachinko machine somehow turns the game's physics jank up to 11.

I was trying this today and glitched mario sideways into the wall between two of the pins. starts started shooting out of the wall uncontrollably and fludd couldn't get him out
Seriously I dont know who the hell was so STUPID they designed a level where it forces you away from the objective. I swear that one coin closest to the opening you launch out of is the devil incarnate. That thing has started genocides with how many people it has driven to madness. This is Nintendo we're talking about so how did such a GLARING issue pass through

I just did 5 times, but not on a skill like this. I used my own skill by patience.
