Thank you so much! u explained everything/details very clearly. the best detailing video I found on youtube so far. Easy to understand and clear explanation.
This is more like rebar cutting list. But in cutting list you need to add the development length of the bars. Thank you for your video, it helps me do cutting list for slab
I am really sorry i have deleted that file on the tutorial. But you have alerted me with this. From now on, i will be keeping the files to share. But thank you for reminding this
You designed the slab close to the stairs as a 2way slab. It should be a 1 way, hence only one main reinforcement. Also why designing for bars at the extreme when its not a continuous slab.
Please checked your worked correctly the is one vertical bar is not detailed if i am not wrong. Thanks and hope my request will be giving due consideration.
Yes you might be true. I didn't check. But it happens sometimes especially on a tutorial video where i focus more on explaining. I keep forgetting some things here and there. Thank you for pointing that out.
when I check your drawing is wrong your grids are off-center from the columns and your columns and beams are not aligned correctly that why you failed to get 5700 and got 5697 you. the beam width and the column width must be the same so as they share the same effective length, 2 .when we do detailing we detail from the concrete cover in yours slab there is no concrete cover which is 30mm for 12mm bar. 3 Your bar calculation formulae is wrong it must be 5697-2(30)= 5637 divide by 250mm +1 spacing but for Y12 We use 200 C/C THEN 250 for Y16 as distribution bars. if you didn't add 1 it means what you have is spacing not Number of bars. your grid numbering must start from top to bottom a-c and right to left. that's the British standard.
Best detailing video I have seen on UA-cam
Thanks, i appreciate it

The entire structure was designed as it should. However, during detailing, its on the designer to choose how to detail
Super all round
Thanks my friend

IS BECOUSE OF THE WRONG CALCULATION FOR NUMBER OF BARS
music is LOUD and distracting. could hardly hear anything
My bad. No music on future videos
