Hey all, Jonny here.
We're exploring more ways to publish content on this channel and get more new people to find Plat Chat and watch our segments. Hopefully, not uploading a big podcast once a week with tons of different information/discussions in it but rather specific segments other people might find interesting will help in Overwatch fans discovering our channel. This is just a first but we hope to have more fun and produced segments coming in future podcasts that we can upload like this!
We're also exploring publishing shorts similar to what the Plat Chat Valorant guys are doing so a few new things happening on the channel. Apologies if you've already watched this, but any help in views or engagement helps us!

I watch the whole podcast when it releases, but this is great for if I just want to reference a specific part of it, since I can search for the specific segment, as well as it's much more digestible to send to someone as a reference rather than a 2hr+ podcast.
I think this is great. The podcast is always good but I do think this will be great when viewers don't quite have time for the entire thing.
Some other long podcasts have a separate channel for clips, is that something you've considered?
Otherwise maybe indicating that it's a clip somehow in the title would be nice.
This is a really great idea and will definitely grow Play Chat, I think it would be better on a clips channel where you could do more stuff like this and other short form content.
maybe even a 10 min weekly highlight video. better on monday after all predictions are proven wrong XD
Get Plat Chat to go viral, maybe do shorts where each member shows us their interpretation of the chicken dance
Shorts are the best way to get more eyes on your YT channel these days
This is a good change to the format, I hope it will get you more traffic! Shorts would be a great idea. 8-16 minutes is the sweet spot for shorter videos like this.
Don’t be afraid of chopping out parts of the conversation that don’t contribute to the discussion; having a more coherent and streamlined end product where every line makes the “narrative” of the conversation move forward is better than including everything that is being said. Transitions between reactions to things and actual conversations about them is a good place to start, along with chopping out comments that don’t go anywhere.
Zooming in on particular people when they make faces, even when they’re not the ones speaking, is great for keeping viewers engaged. Graphics on screen to make some meta commentary and meming on things people say is also great.
Most important is that you experiment, find your style with the edits and see what people like.

If copied ultimates build slower, can we at least get the lasting effects of a copied ultimate? It’s kinda goofy to build a Sound Barrier, leave Duplicate, and watch all those shields disappear

Firstly - Increasing the number of ways people can view the content can only be a good thing.
Secondly - I'm a long form content viewer (actually, listener really) and I wanna know when the big episodes come out so I can download them. I think it will help people get to the videos they want, faster, if there is some immediate way to distinguish between the video types - perhaps a different thumbnail style, or some indication in the video title.
Thirdly - thanks for all the content. It's likely I would have stopped caring about this league if it weren't for the antics and questionable takes I have come to know and love. Big love to the whole PlatChat crew 💜

Personally I think they should get rid of self heal, it doesn’t feel right in this game, often if you’re dueling 1v1 with any self-heal hero you’re just screwed.
