- Hi all, its almost Bank holiday weekend!! I really hope you get up to some lovely things this long weekend. This vlog is a day in the life showing you all of the usual things, lunch, commute to the office, some new flowers and dinner. I even show you a little trip to the post office ha!

I’m a recent subscriber and I’ve been binge watching your videos since I found your channel. I love the top you’re wearing from M&S. I also work in an accountants practice in the North West of England so it’s interesting to see what other people wear in an office job.
I totally agree, it’s so interesting to see what other people’s go-to’s are for the office! Is your office more formal or casual dress code? Mine is very much trousers and a blouse or jumper and I often wear black ballet pumps and some pop socks! xx

I completely agree it’s one of the best places I feel so lucky to still live here after 8 years and still be exploring different parts every week, it shows just how big it is! Of course! I totally believe that, which I’m sure is exciting. Once I came back to the states, I explored moving there permanently. However, of course life happened. I learned I was a city person and told myself I wanted to live in NYC or Philadelphia (I grew up in Delaware). I ended up living in Philadelphia for 12 years and now I live “over the bridge” in New Jersey due to my husband’s work.
I love the diversity, food, and accessibility in urban areas, so at least I’m still close! When I was in London I lived off of the Bakerloo line in Warwick? There was a little, quaint pub called the Prince Alfred I loved going to ☺️. I can go on and on about London 😂. My husband has never been, so I’m hoping to travel there with him soon!

Hi Jess, I’m loving your videos and how relatable they are. I struggle with finding work outfits (my office is very corporate) and wondered if you have a low maintenance outfit combinations you’d recommend?
Hey Helena, thank you that is really kind. Yes I actually do! I am the same and I work in the office 4 days per week so I have a few combinations and I rotate, I’m going to do some videos on this stuff but M&S are my absolute favourites for work wear that washes well and fits right, they have inclusive sizing and long or petite lengths in trousers! I have 3 blouses and two long sleeve fitted jumpers (one navy and one beige) that I rotate with a pair of black trousers (I have three of these) hopefully this helps but I’m going to do a proper video on this stuff soon ❤

Yay that is so kind and I’m lucky to have you watching along! I’ve chatted to so many lovely people since making these videos it’s one of my favourite things. I will answer this properly in my Q&A but a little sneak peak hhah home is Dundee on the east coast of Scotland and I feel like one day I would love to be closer to my family but I’m not sure if I realistically ever will fully move back, I don’t currently have any plans to but if I did I think it would be to Edinburgh! Scotland is such a beautiful place especially for raising children so much outdoorsy stuff for them to do and we are spoiled with beautiful scenery up there! If I don’t go back to live I’ll definitely be making lots of trips there still ❤️
@@jessicamoonharris You're talking to a fellow Scot. From Aberdeen originally, spent five years in Dundee (Fowlis) working in Ninewells and then moved to Inverness. It was your accent that pulled me in. I knew it was east coast but I couldn't pin point. It's certainly not a strong Dundee accent. Looking forward to following your antics in London Jess. I'd love to know more about your job & what it entails? Do you have to go into the office 4 days a week? I have to do 3 days. If that changed, I would cry. Life and work balance is so much better (well I'd do more days at home if i could, obviously ha!).

Watching this as I am about to put my own Crosta Mollica pizza in the oven! But I always get the one without toppings so I can buy my own mozarella and things I want on it. 😃I just renewed my passport (last week!) and it took 5 days from submitting my application to receiving my new passport. I actually saw this in Sainsbury’s when I was buying the pepperoni one and thought about whether it’s worth getting one of those instead, it comes with the tomato base as well doesn’t it? Paris is stunning I actually went there last year to celebrate turning 30 it was such a special trip for me! ❤ of course, it’s from Lulu lemon a year or so ago, I don’t own anything else from the brand but I do like the backpack as its slightly different to most others out there (that I see on the way to work anyway!) xx

Yes definitely, I’m filming my Q&A tomorrow so I will definitely answer this question and tell you a bit more about my job and how I find it generally working in finance. As for switching off, I’ll chat more about it in the video but I really find making these videos and uploading to UA-cam a bit of a creative outlet, even though my channel is tiny I have found it so fulfilling to interact with new people and use a bit of creativity making thumbnails and spending time just doing something different! Thanks again for taking the time to leave a question 🙏

I just wondered I bought the "Better You magnesium sleep spray" after you mentioned it. So far it hasn't worked for me. Can I ask did it help your boyfriend with his sleep pattern?

Ahh no I’m sorry it didn’t work for him either, well to be honest he tried it one night and it wasn’t drastically making a difference so he didn’t try it again! I’m sorry you bought it :/ a camomile tea and a hot shower before bed sometimes helps Matt sleep a little better. To be honest I’m very sceptical of any wonder product or supplements when it comes to sleep as so many things can play into it! Xxx

Ahh I’m obsessed with sandwiches haha my favourite kinds are tuna mayo and red onion with salad or ham and cheese with mustard mayo! I just pick things I like and put them all on there together!

Definitely give it a go! It’s so easy to pick the camera up I just use my iPhone 14 Pro, and edit using Final Cut Pro. Im really glad you’re enjoying my videos I try to just show my normal days! Thanks so much for such a lovely comment xx

Wow I’ve actually been to California and it was the most stunning place, I haven’t (yet) been to the wine country and you probably know from my videos I *love* wine 🍷 ahh that is scary I’m hoping my light flicker was just an electrical thing as it’s now stopped!! I need to watch Jonna Jinton will definitely do that this morning. Wow you’ve stayed there! Even the bar at the Savoy is stunning I would love to stay there it’s on my bucket list for sure xx
@@jessicamoonharris well you must come again! I love Scotland as well, although I’ve not been to Dundee, I’ve been to Edinburgh twice and my cousin graduated from St. Andrews which I loved, her Scottish Grandma married my Great Uncle during WWII and settled here.
The best Holiday would be: fly into San Diego and spend 2/3 nights, rent a car or van and head North up the Pacific Coast Highway/Hwy 1. Stop in Laguna Beach for lunch and then spend a night in Santa Barbara. From there you can decide if you wanted to back track and go East a little and see Yosemite National Park or keep going North to San Francisco. The California Wine Country is an hour North of the Golden Gate. There is a wine train, 600 wineries, endless hiking, walking and eating, the large redwoods are just North of us about 45 mins but if you go even further North the largest Redwoods of all. Then drive back down fly home SFO - Heathrow! Haha 😂 yes I get excited about my home state! After your Majorca trip feel free to ping me when the time comes and I’ll give you more tips should you decide to do it 💝

I’ve chosen to work from home on Mondays. Hate Mondays otherwise. So I rather spare my colleagues from my Monday-mood and work from home. Everybody is happier!/ accountant.
I sometimes do the same, Mondays are the worst day it’s quite nice to stay home. Andd it helps with Sunday scaries! ❤️

Yay that's a good question as I actually already filmed my Q&A but I answered this one partially in it! I would also LOVE to live in Amsterdam I have a really love for the city i think its so beautiful. Matt and I have been together and ive been a few other times to visit my friend who lives there. That's really the only other city i think i would move to other than potentially back to Edinburgh someday in the future maybe!

I would definitely do a video on areas of London although I’ve only ever lived south I’ve been here for 8 years so almost as long as you! Jealous that you got to go to uni here I feel like it would be such a cool city to explore at that age.

@@jessicamoonharris I moved to Deal, Kent for a year then I moved abroad.
Deal was really nice and only 2 hours on high speed train from St Pancrass but I wouldn't do it if I had to commute to London for work. Though I knew people who did that.
