This will be interesting... thanks for doing this.
    Nice character sheet layout.

Thank-you. I don't have the eyesight these days to use the one Chaosium have as the official Classic sheet!

By the way, I would love to see your review of RQ2 (although I know you have talked at length about RQ3). When I was in my early teens, a friend of mine had RQ3, and I later got a copy as well and I always liked it. But well into adulthood (and then some) I have fallen hard for RQ2, though I have never played it as such (though I have run many RQ/BRP-based based games). It's very clearly written (though layout is a bit primitive) explaining everything carefully etc. Love the sketchy illustrations too.

Hopefully through the SoloQuest experience I'll get myself to a position of feeling comfortable to review it. I have loved reading the material - the book's subjects are somewhat scattered to the five winds, but the explanative text is very good.

@@WillyMuffinUK I agree! I think part of the confusion is that some of the things that can (optionally) be done as part of character creation, can also happen during the game (e.g. join a guild or militia). So they were a bit fuzzy about where to put it. :D

@@trondsi True. Having the optional prior experience in an appendix also makes some sense - it just needs a bit of deft use of bookmarks for efficient page flipping!

Best check your Speak own Language skills...it looks t be 0%😂
The RQII character roll up is a bit bitty to find stuff and there is always something else to add from another place ....RQIII sorted that out ( for a while) and then started to add stuff so ended up similar but better arranged, RQG is a little messy again.... ho hum...... .

At least the RQG books come with a ribbon, so they do make it easier to find where you're flicking back and forth between 🤣
I'll check Speak Own. The calc is in there somewhere - might not be plonking the final value in the right place. Thanks for spotting!

So... Speak Own is fine on the sheet, at base % (I didn't add any training in to Sneakshadow for it, so it's there at 70)
