I really like Melissa Anderson. I always have. She has a great sense of self, she's down to earth, modest, realistic. She's a real person! Not plastic/Hollywoodish and I appreciate that in actors. Thanks for posting :)

I don’t know so much about Alison, but Melissa Gilbert got more snobbish, the more successful she became. Especially after she married Bruce Boxleightener. Too bad it ended in divorce I guess.

@@LBF522 Anderson has admitted that her shyness came off as snobbish and standoffish, so I think Arngrim (as much as I love Arngrim) might have taken her the wrong way. I have to admit that when I first read Arngrim's comments in "Prairie Bitch", I thought "AHA! I KNEW IT!". Two of us at the office splintered off into two camps - Team Allison v Team Melissa. Team Melissa gave me this snide look when he looked up Melissa's credits on IMDB while Arngrim's CV wasn't as long...."SO, what's NELLIE been doing as an adult?!" "Uh....." I still love Arngrim, though.
People change. They were all little girls with not so great family issues. All of them were right to say what they did about Melissa Sue. There was obviously something very weird with her mother going on that kept her apart from the other girls and she was kind of evil towards them. I knew a mean girl in school who is fine now.
