Pan TheOrganizer Hey Pan, can we also use a Dual Action polisher with a microfiber pad instead of a foam/sponge pad on our DA polishers? Thanks and great video! :)
Pan TheOrganizer thanks for the video I was using meguiar ultimate liquid wax for couple of years a d my co worker told me about collinite and bought it and love it just one question once I apply and if I wash my car nxt time do I need to apply collinite again after nxt car wash in couple of months
845 is THE most durable wax I’ve ever used. I apply a couple coats right before winter and it will last well into April in New England weather. It will lasts through multiple winter car washes too with incredible beading and gloss. I will never use anything else. The Power Lock sealant is a great addition as well.
FYI on this combo or any polymer or wax, if you live in the salt belt northern states or Canada the first road salting will remove every single last bit of this. I’ve done testing over last 4 winters and the only coating that lasts is a ceramic based, and even that is worn down. Sorry but only good for people that don’t have road salt. I wash and use bead maker and I’m done.
I tried this for the first time yesterday. The vehicle I used it on was a '19 Subaru Forester Premium in blue. After foaming and washing, mech/chem decon.. perfect finish, then the fun began. I've never used an easier product in My life than Power lock +. It was a breeze to apply and remove. Temps were 60*f yesterday. After the wipe off process, I let it cure 3 hours and warmed up the 845. Pretty much did two panels then wiped off. The owner of the car was very pleased! It was a good experience! I'll use it again. Thank You, Pan, and Matt Moreman. Have a good week!
Thanks for your feedback! It's more rare that people use sealant/wax combos these days, but still satisfying to use for sure. A great maintenance topper for this duo is Xtreme Solutions Topper: amzn.to/2Zrkg6d
@@PanTheOrganizer I truly enjoyed applying and removing this combo. It's been raining since Sunday night after I finished it... so I'll see how it is this weekend when I wash it and add another coat of 845. Thanks for replying, Pan, and, for the link for the topper! It felt weird to apply sealant and wax instead of CSL/EXO!!
Hi, Pan! I have been using Collinite 845 for 10+ years and can vouch for the quality and durability of the product. The gloss is outstanding and I won a car show award in part because of the shine that product produced! I have been using a different combination for the last three years and I think it's worth a look. That combination is Griot's Garage Paint Sealant topped with Collinite 845. My rationale is this: Griot's Garage Paint sealant last up to 12 months down here in the South with our heat and sun and has a very high fill power for fine scratches. It gives off a rather bright gloss, but when the Collinite 845 is added, more protection, depth, and a warm glow is left behind. I have been noticing one year + of protection and a reduction in bug adhesion on the front of my car. This combination also works well for those people who aren't comfortable with paint correction and or don't need much. Best regards!
I’ve used Collinite 845 for awhile and Matt turned me on to Jescar Power Lock +. Now if the weather ever cooperates here in Minnesota I’m going to give my two cars a good spring cleaning. 18” of snow here in the Minneapolis metro area this weekend.👎Thanks Pan! ~Tim~
Excellent combination...I have to say I've tried it before and hated it.. Lots of wax residue that smeared and was difficult to remove... This time I let the Jescar Powerlock cure for 4hrs and I applied the Colinite very thin... What a difference... The vehicle looks amazing. Truly a great sealant/wax combo... When applied properly...
Thanks so much. I really like the fact that you take the time to respond to so many posts despite your high number of subscribers. I am a huge fan of your channel. Thanks
Pan, first of all each of your videos are extremely informative and always have great content. Secondly, would like to see a video that specifically addresses interior and exterior rubber and plastic trim care. Both long term and short term coatings and the advantages as well as disadvantages of each product that you recommend.

Was looking for a way to get started taking care of the first new car we had since a 1972 Pinto, and never had worked with a sealant. I've used Collinite for years on other cars. Now, before putting the cover on my BMW motorcycle for the season, I'll do the same process on it this week. Thanks@@PanTheOrganizer
Thank you for sharing your experience with Power Lock as well as taking the time to share in your video. We're excited for a lot of things to change and new things to come with the Jescar brand 😊
Newbie in detailing here! Ive been hearing a lot of good things about this combo and i am pretty convinced to get this duo for our brand new car. Couple of questions, is there any particular aio (with fillers) that i can use before the jescar? Thanks for the answer.
Following... same situation here, I am very interested in this combo and probably top it off with Beadmaker. Cant wait to see it. Been wondering the same thing since i will be using these onto a brand new car i would not like to shave too much clearcoat. Just minimal and maybe use a glaze with good fillers. and that is where my question is, what glaze or polish with fillers is recommended to use underneath Jescar? hope someone can reply soon....cheers! :)
Hi Pan! Very funny timing. I just stripped my ceramic coating last week to replace it with the powerlock + collinite combo. I uploaded a short walkaround video on my youtube channel of how the car looked like with the combo on it, so people can get an idea of what kind of look the products give! Might be interesting to some watching this video!
Awesome video and explanation. You already sold me on Collinite #845 earlier this year. I've already did the clay (pad) bar, the compound, then polish. I was getting ready to wax with collinite, when it occured to me to seek your video/advice. Glad I did....I'll have to get a sealant first, so tomorrow will be the soonest. Thanks a bunch.
@@PanTheOrganizer Not even close....my favorite is the one where you list and show the top products in each category for 2019. The time and attention to detail, the explanation about function and how they work and what they do for the cars finish or interior....had to have taken a LOT of time. That specific video opened a whole new world for me. Because of it, I'm no longer afraid to touch my car, or choose a product because I'm no where near as ignorant as I was.

Do you still recommend these two products? Or have you found another combination that you like better since 2018? Also, I noticed on your wax reviews, you sometimes mention/suggest to prep the car for waxing by removing old wax etc. off of the paint. Do you have a video showing this process?
I’m ordering both product right now!! I’ll give a try on the SLK as soon Winter is gone!!Just subscribe 2 day ago and so much good video here!! Thanks Mister Pan…From Gatineau, Québec Canada!!

Pan TheOrganizer it would. You guys seem to be hands down the best within the auto detailing world. The guy from forensics is pretty damn good as well.
Been using this for years now with bead maker as a topper and drying aid... absolutely love it. Especially in winter. It's like nothing sticks to my car.

Great video as always Pan! I had a feeling that Power Lock + would be in this after its win in your awards video, I still need to try it! I also really enjoyed your Wax video just before this, it was very informative and well done!
Last weekend I performed a Jescar power lock + and topped with Ethos ceramic wax the next day, crazy amazing results on a white 2014 RLX hybrid..I am totally pleased!!!!!
Well, After weeks of watching Pan Pan videos on detailing and a newbie gal at wanting to keep her new 2021 Honda Pilot exterior in new condition herself as a DIY’r I was about to go with Turtle Wax. Butttt the verdict is in and I opted for this combo along with P&S Beed Maker for a topper after each wash. Following you from Virginia Pan:) Thanks for all the videos! Tough decision on what to go with as the market contains a lot of detailing products these days and is flooded with options.
Thanks! Hopefully I can help my viewers to make better purchasing decisions and keep you all updated on the latest trends and products releases in the detailing world.
I’ll try it for sure , currently testing Fusso Coat , king of gloss and McKeeys Hydro blue SIO and I swear water just flys off the car. Went to a bakery to grab some goodies for the kids , it’s raining outside several weeks after applying Hydro Blue , which was several weeks after applying king of gloss , which was several weeks after applying fusso coat. Yeah I know , anyhow the Hydro Blue is amazing stiff but it will streak when you put it on dry so best to apply wet. I’ll probably buy the gallon concentrate and play around with different concentration levels to see what I get.
Technically, you shouldn't mix SiO2 based products with waxes or sealants... If you want the best hydrophobics, than nothing beats a true ceramic coating. Way superior in water beading and sheeting than Fusso Coat or any other sealant or wax. Watch my tutorial on coatings here: ua-cam.com/video/byKcYsEyWGk/v-deo.html
Don’t forget that insulator wax also has polymers in it as well, this for me is my tried-and-true personal favorite. Back in the early 90s my father brought home the original 845 and said try the stuff son the old hot rodders swear by it. Back in the 90s I didn’t know what I was doing I was only 12 at the time but I enjoyed detailing cars 845 back then had very little information on how to apply it I loved the durability but I would coop back in the 90s I didn’t know what I was doing I was only 12 at the time but I enjoyed detailing cars 845 back then had very little information on how to apply The instructions would talk about electrical insulation and the correct application for that but no paint application or if it was clear coat safe at the time I loved the durability but I would goop 845 on and wonder why the hell would be so hard to get off. I have been doing a personal study on contamination with jet seal and other products and 845 just seems to hold up I noticed when I go to Claybar the car every half a year 845 has asked significant reduced amounts of contamination on the paint versus other products. Now this could be due to the combination of jes car is the basecoat and then I will topcoat that with 845. Thanks Pan for all your great videos!👍🙏
The longest lasting product I’ve tried is gtechniq exov3. It’s still on my 2004 z06... which was applied in November 2017. Two coats. I’ve yet to see anything else last that long.
@@PanTheOrganizerWow. Hey thanks for replying. I think my favourite has to be How to Polish your vehicle. Which coincidentally lead me to this video. Quick question, I've read that Iron X and a few of these decontamination sprays have ingredients that damage the exterior plastic trims. I'm a bit concerned about this. I normally experiment on my own however this is not something I wish to try (for obvious reasons)
Thanks for the feedback! To answer your question, I would avoid directly spraying iron removers on plastic trim, but if some overspray lands on them, no worries, it should rinse right off. I have never had issues with iron removers, and CarPro IronX is one of the best ones out there. The tricks with iron removers is to follow directions on the label, most often don't let the product dry and never work in direct sunlight. On average, you let the product dwell for a maximum of 3-4 minutes and then you rinse off with water.
@@PanTheOrganizer thank you so much. I really value your advice. I'm currently watching your 2018 car product awards and noted that you recommend Iron X I got the lemon scent one. Cheers 👍😁

November here and just went another round of Jescar Power Lock + & Collinite 845. Wanted to get it done before colder weather set in so I’m set for the winter now ;) Pearl white paint color is poppin !
Great video as usual! Just wanted to ask could I put this combo on top of Auto Finesse Ultra Glaze and finish off with Auto Finesse Aqua coat. So it would look like - Ultra Glaze>Power Lock>845>Aqua Coat. Thanks

Hi Pan, great video. I used CH Blacklight and am wondering do I need to do IPA wipe then put on the PowerLock + and 845, or can I just go directly to the PowerLock + and 845?
No. It's not recommended to apply regular waxes and sealants over ceramic coatings, as you would be masking the superior performance and properties of the ceramic coating.
I'm going to give away a secret of mine that I discovered by accident. Actually I was problem solving and did something similar to this. Back when I first tried Hydro2 from Car Pro I ran into problems with ghosting and water spotting because I applied it in the Florida sun on a black car and it does not like that. :) My solution was to go over the car with 845. It quickly fixed the problem and left me very pleased with the combo. I've also done this with Car Pro's Reload with similar results.
I keep the same microfiber applicator for that. I would wash it like you would your microfiber towels. Warm water, and then drying with tumble dry or air dry (no heat or least heat possible).
Really enjoy your videos. Especially this one. I have a 2013 Subaru Outback with Subaru’s “charcoal grey” paint scheme. It has over 200,000 miles. After watching your other video on how to clay a vehicle, I gave my Outback its first claying. Afterwards, I applied the Jescar, then the Colinite 845 per Matt’s instructions. WOW! Thanks for the help!
@@PanTheOrganizer I used to detail my car in the 1970s in high school. Always liked being in a clean car even though it was a “beater”. Fast forward to today: I retired from the Chicago Police Department in 2012 and went into the real estate business. Found a real good detailer who’d detail my car before I’d do house showings. One day, the car came without having the usual good detailing. I knew the vendor who supplied my detail shop and picked up the detailing supplies I needed. I returned home and started detailing my car. I felt a strong sense of satisfaction detailing my car-the leather interior glowed and had a wonderful fragrance from the leather oil. The black dashboard looked brand new. It was at that moment I wondered how could I improve my results. I googled auto detailing and “Pan the Organizer” showed up. Your videos are GREAT! A lot of fun to watch and that makes it easier for your audience to listen to your instructions. In addition to the real estate business, I drive for Uber (part-time). Passengers compliment me on the condition of my car. When I tell them it has over 200,000 miles, they react with disbelief. I started to detail some of my Uber passengers automobiles. It’s becoming lucrative and like you, I want to be the best. I tried watching other detailing videos, but yours are the BEST! Do you have a video for wax/sealant removal? After using Jescar/Colonite, I’m getting quite a few inquiries and I want to make sure I know how to remove old sealant and wax. Thanks again!
Never buy the paint protection car dealerships sell. Those are just super cheap products with a high selling price for the package to maximize the dealer’s profit. What they are actually selling you is just a bogus warranty. Always take care of protecting your car yourself with quality products or hire a good professional detailer to do it for you.
Pan TheOrganizer Hi brother, i was just watching a Larry K video for the fisrt time and right after i found your video. Thanks for sharing your experience with us beginners
Yes. Always prep your paint properly before applying waxes or sealants or coatings. Here’s my wax application tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/KZjiPcsPBrA/v-deo.html
Good info, I have used Collinite 845 for many years and it will last a Michigan winter with no problem! I'll have to get some Jescar and give it a try.
Yiasoo Pandelis! Is this still your eyes the "best of both worlds" or has something new come along to replace either of these fine products? Thanks so much for all the great videos, too!!
Hey Pan would the spray wax go on after I’ve buffed and removed the collinite haze? Or would I use the spray wax on the hazed collinite? Thanks for the great video just Subbed!
After applying Collinite, you buff it like any wax. You wait one week, then you wash your car again, that will remove the oils that have risen to the surface of the wax. Then you can apply a spray wax (or even better, Bead Maker) on top.
I have some 845 that just came in the mail. I can't wait to try it out. I'll have to pick up some power lock soon to try the combo. You should do a test on the poorboys world product line. I bought their white diamond glaze and it really makes my paint shine, their wheel cleaner works great too!
Good day Pan. I have been detailing cars for about a year now and still learning a lot from your videos. Thanks again. When I detail cars, I always put my wax and top it off with a sealant (Adam’s Buttery wax / Turtle wax seal and shine). In this video you put your sealant first. Should we do the same for all the products or just with this combo (Power Lock / Colonite Wax) Thank you very much
You would always apply the paint sealant first, regardless of the brand. The idea behind this is that you want the most durable protection as a base layer of protection first. Paint sealants last way longer compared to waxes. And then, you finish with the wax on top, as carnauba based waxes typically offer a nicer, warmer glow/gloss to the finish, and nice slickness, so you get the beauty product on top. Every few months, you reapply a layer of wax as needed.
Collinite Insulator wax is good for a liquid wax but their 885 paste fleet wax is much much better in terms of depth and shine. Durability is also better than the Insulator wax. I've tried all Collinite's products and found the Fleet wax to be the best. Will try the 885 over the Powerlock +. Sealants have a shine that is one dimentional and lack the depth, or warmth as you say, of carnauba wax.

@PanTheOrganizer Interesting you should ask.... since just about everything is on UA-cam, I searched for comparison between 3D's Montan wax vs Powerlock + and your video popped up! Never did find any channel that did this comparison but thought I'd comment on your Insulator wax recommendation as a topper over the Powerlock +!
I just applied this combo to my brothers GTI. As for maintaining over the next 5-6 months, you mention in the notes any typical quick detailer. Does this include these 'spray' waxes that have hydrophonic properties, or is that what you talking about? GREAT CHANNEL!!
If you want the best maintenance spray for this combo, use Bead Maker. It will increase gloss and slickness to god level lol. Seriously. Check out my review: ua-cam.com/video/J7uc4AlarpU/v-deo.html You can use that as a drying aid after maintenance washes. Thanks for the positive feedback about my channel! A car only needs compounding and polishing if you see scratches, swirls, oxidation, etc. If the paint is in good condition, you can step the polishing steps. If you do however polish your paint, don't forget to do an IPA wipe down with something like CarPro Eraser, that way you'll remove the polishing oils and prep the surface for a better bond with the paint sealant.
Pan TheOrganizer It all happen 5 weeks ago. I was searching "how to wash microfiber cloth" and I saw your video. Going to buy this combo for my upcoming detail on my A6. I ordered a Makita po5000cx1 buffer, I think I will enjoy. I saw Bryan from Apex Detail do a review on this same combo.
I've been using Jetseal with the Collinite 845. I will switch to the Powerlock soon, but none of the Amazon sellers ship it to Canada anymore apparently. I'll track it down elsewhere.
I’m sure you’ve found options already, but I was just told about carzilla, and auto obsessed websites out of Alberta, helped me out big time ordering supplies, and free shipping of over $150.
great video!!!.....I just bought a used car ( white 2016 Subaru outback ) and looks like the previous owner just washed it only, no wax etc...….what steps do I need to take next to get a very wet high gloss shine???? wash, clay, polish, wax, sealant
Wash, iron decon, clay, polish, sealant and then wax. You should watch my full car detailing videos to give you an idea. Here’s a white Audi RS3 I detailed: ua-cam.com/video/641mAJfKDLM/v-deo.html
Hi Pan, Your Video comes handy as I am willing to use the Turtle Seal and Shine sealant as a base coat on a foully decontaminated surface, after polishing; on which I then finally would like to apply a AngelWax Enigma wax (1 or 2 layers). Would you have tested this mix by any chance, as I found no information on this MIX on the net!? Great Shows by the way, I am a beginner, and learning a lot from your channel Pan. Let Me know if you have any suggestions on this approach using Ice Seal & Shine and Angelwax Enigma WAX, please. Cheers
Thanks for this video. Have you found a way to remove Jescar (Power Lock +) from plastic trim? Some time ago I applied Jescar to all surfaces (paint and plastic) of my Crosstrek, but subsequently found that it left a mottled white smear on the plastic parts, especially the rough plastic like the rear bumper cover. I've tried several solvents, but nothing seems to work. Thanks in advance!

@Pan The Organizer well it started when I wanted to wash my car today and after I went I started wondering about if there was a spray wax I could get so that I can get a rich deep red gloss on my paint and I also wanted to remove the watermarks and make it hydrophobic but there were so many options at the store I didn't know much😅so I ended up getting speed wipe by chemical guys I applied it but didn't rally know what I put on it made a difference but I was curious then I was looking at what it does then I saw your video on there brand and each one of thier products 👌 then I saw your other one explaining the difference between wax sealant 👏
actually was searching for car wash products and your channel came up amongst others. Checked out your BMW full detail, then searched your other videos and had lots of cool stuff.
Hi Pan, love this combo. which polish( or finish polish) would you recommend before this Jescar/Collinite? , car is white well maintained and has little to no swirls etc..
Hey Pan! I took your advice and ordered this combo! Would Meguiar's fast finish be good as a last product once wax cures? Or is it not necessary with the power lock? Thanks!
That would be too many paint protection products. Pick one sealant to apply first (either Power Lock or Meg's) and finish that off with the Collinite as that gives the best shine and gloss. The base layer of paint sealant is there for long term durability.
Hey Pan... It's 08/22/2023. Will Jescar Ultra Lock+ have the same bond with Collinite 845 Insulator Wax as Jescar Power Lock+? Would adding Extremes Solutions Topper have an added value to either combination 1) Ultra Power+ and Collinite 845, OR 2) Ultra Lock+ and Collinite 845? I've also considered just Ultra Lock+ and Extreme Solutions Topper. At 79, I just purchased my last daily driver, a 2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid (Midnight Black Metallic and Wind Chill Pearl). I've been binge watching your videos in order to find the best combination of products.
Hi Pan, great channel! I was just wondering if the solvents in the Collinite 845 could potentially remove the Powerlock as you're applying it? I mean, it'd be pretty hard to tell, right - as you'd have the longevity and finish of the Collinite 845 either way, so how can you be sure the Powerlock is still under there and wasn't removed by the solvents in the 845? Looking back at historical forum posts this is something that was discussed but never clarified. I'd hate to spend all the time and effort applying Powerlock, only to find that it got removed as soon as I applied the Collinite 845 over the top! If you have some evidence that this isn't the case I'd be glad to see it. I have Powerlock waiting to go on my car and I am looking for a Carnuba wax to top it with, and preferably one that can be applied by machine.
I`m about to do the same combo and my (wishful) thinking is that powerlock will have cured first, so it will not be affected, plus that you should not use much product of wax and work hard with contact.
Yes as long as you have a finishing pad (for liquid waxes or sealants) and use slow speeds on your polisher. Also, a trick with Collinite is to place the bottle in warm water for 20 minutes before use. It will make it less goopy and flow better.
Pan based on this video I have applied to my new Tesla Model 3. Looks great. Besides using a quick detailer, do you recommend using any type of spray wax or other product between washes?
Sir ,I'm a big fan of you,I learned a lot from your videos. My car is Honda civic and it is weekend driven , parked outside. My question on washing is:- How often one should wash the car ,I mean a week ,a month ?? Does frequently washing a car makes some areas/panel rusty/corrosion in long run in a vehicle? plz reply I have many mixed answers on that.
You can wash your car as often as you like. I wash mine twice weekly. What you should do is have rustproofing applied to your car and also apply paint protection like wax, sealant or ceramic coating on your paint.
Been watching your very useful and informative videos; I am new to washing my car and detailing. If I wash the car after a month of doing the above combination of sealant and wax, do I have to apply them again; what would be the step after pressure washing and drying the car, what should be applied to keep the protection and gloss. Thanks
It depends on which product you applied. Some last 1 month, some last 3 to 6 months. When you see less water beading and slower water sheeting, it means it's time to apply a fresh layer. For regular washes, to help maintain gloss and slickness until the next time you apply the sealant and wax, you can use a drying aid which will lubricate the surface as you are towel drying the car, and also helps to prevent marring the surface. It will boost gloss and slickness. A perfect companion for this sealant/wax duo is this spray on sealant that you will use as a drying aid: ua-cam.com/video/J7uc4AlarpU/v-deo.html
I have used this combo with great results. I apply in the spring and it last for months. The question I have is when you reapply later in the year do you have to start with polish or can you go right to the sealant and wax process.
I would start fresh, as the vehicle will likely need decontamination (iron removal, clay bar), so might as well follow up with a light polish, IPA wipe, and reapply a fresh layer. But if the protection hasn't all faded away and is in decent condition, you could, in theory, wash the car, use an iron remover, rinse and dry it, and apply a fresh layer. Pan TheOrganizer I
845 is THE most durable wax I’ve ever used. I apply a couple coats right before winter and it will last well into April in New England weather. It will lasts through multiple winter car washes too with incredible beading and gloss. I will never use anything else. The Power Lock sealant is a great addition as well.
Thanks for the info Pan. I just finished 3 cars with the products. After 45 years of cleaning and waxing cars this is the best ever.
Thanks for the feedback!

Hi Demetrios! Thanks for your comment and for sharing your experience. I agree, it’s a great product! 👍🏻
Are you Greek? I’m half Greek!
Awesome! Yasou!
I also follow Matt from Obsessed Garage. Great guy and knows his stuff. Thanks for another great product Pan.
Thanks for watching!!
~Tim~
Yeah we have shitty weather here in Montreal too... :(
Power lock plus and Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish work well together also. Scott from Dallas Paint Correction and Auto Detailing did a video on it.
Yup! I follow Scott too. Great detailer!
They are both sealants. How do they work together? I am interested in seeing a combo of ultimate fash finish and the 845.
What about fast finish + 845 ?
Excellent combination...I have to say I've tried it before and hated it.. Lots of wax residue that smeared and was difficult to remove... This time I let the Jescar Powerlock cure for 4hrs and I applied the Colinite very thin... What a difference... The vehicle looks amazing.
Truly a great sealant/wax combo... When applied properly...
Yeah you need to let the sealant cure for a few hours. It's so smooth to the touch right?! So slick!
Great Vid, Pan is the man that got my UA-cam detailing obsession started, and OG Matt is simply going to make me go broke lol

Thanks I appreciate it!!
What’s your favourite video on my channel so far?
Really, I too amazed with the response from PAN. Everytime I ask a question and within few hours I got a reply.
Pan you are really a great man.
I add monthly applications of bead maker on top of my sealant and carnauba wax. Works great for max hydrophobic properties and helps the sealant last.
Thanks for sharing your experience!
Pan, first of all each of your videos are extremely informative and always have great content. Secondly, would like to see a video that specifically addresses interior and exterior rubber and plastic trim care. Both long term and short term coatings and the advantages as well as disadvantages of each product that you recommend.
Thanks for watching and for the suggestion!

Awesome show. Seriously one of the best if not The best on here. Always anticipate the next segment 🤘🏼
Thanks for the vote of confidence!! 👍🏻
Thanks Aaron.
Would you say you liked the combo better than the ceramic coating?
You totalled a Mercedes to get a Corolla.. very nice 🤭
Nice video! I've been using this combo for a while, and love the results every time
Thanks Stan!
Thanks for the positive feedback Raymond!
@@PanTheOrganizer just so you know, I've decided to use the turtle wax spray sealant BEFORE the Collinite #845....good/bad idea?

@@PanTheOrganizer Not even close....my favorite is the one where you list and show the top products in each category for 2019. The time and attention to detail, the explanation about function and how they work and what they do for the cars finish or interior....had to have taken a LOT of time. That specific video opened a whole new world for me. Because of it, I'm no longer afraid to touch my car, or choose a product because I'm no where near as ignorant as I was.
It was nice to see Matt in your video... great information!

What country are you watching from? Hello from Canada!
Do you still recommend these two products? Or have you found another combination that you like better since 2018? Also, I noticed on your wax reviews, you sometimes mention/suggest to prep the car for waxing by removing old wax etc. off of the paint. Do you have a video showing this process?

Thanks Steven! You’d like Collinite if you like a nice wax look.
Pan what other top coat would you recommend for Powerlock? Looking for something a little quicker than 845 to top with!
Timboslice cool story bro

The longest lasting product I’ve tried is gtechniq exov3. It’s still on my 2004 z06... which was applied in November 2017. Two coats. I’ve yet to see anything else last that long.
Gtechniq is the best! Still doing maintenance washes 5 years later

Thanks Ashley! I appreciate the kind words. What's your favorite video on my channel so far? :)
Cheers 👍😁
The isolator wax is great on black cars. I use it on my Benz, Bentley and BMW it's a great product.

Thanks

Respray the panel if you want perfection. If you’re on a budget, paint touch-ups.
Hi Pan, great video. I used CH Blacklight and am wondering do I need to do IPA wipe then put on the PowerLock + and 845, or can I just go directly to the PowerLock + and 845?
Go directly to both.
@@PanTheOrganizerWill do, thanks!
Great video pan
I have a question:
Can we apply this wax and selant over the ceramic coating? Tks so much
My solution was to go over the car with 845. It quickly fixed the problem and left me very pleased with the combo. I've also done this with Car Pro's Reload with similar results.
Good tip!
Pan thanks for the tips waiting for my combo coming the Jescar from ebay, the 845 already stby cheers
Let me know how you like using it!
How do you clean Jescar PowerLock off your applicator?
I keep the same microfiber applicator for that. I would wash it like you would your microfiber towels. Warm water, and then drying with tumble dry or air dry (no heat or least heat possible).
I couldn't remove the wax, so I just sealed the pad in a plastic bag until the next time I used it
Really enjoy your videos. Especially this one. I have a 2013 Subaru Outback with Subaru’s “charcoal grey” paint scheme. It has over 200,000 miles.
The only way to ensure 100% removal of any previous protection is by machine polishing.
Hi Pan, I would like to know the difference between Jescar power lock and Colinite 845 and the paint protection car dealerships sell you ?
Never buy the paint protection car dealerships sell. Those are just super cheap products with a high selling price for the package to maximize the dealer’s profit. What they are actually selling you is just a bogus warranty.
Always take care of protecting your car yourself with quality products or hire a good professional detailer to do it for you.
Great job Pan. I'm not a detailer, but trying to maintain the Cady SRX. Enjoy learning from your videos
Thanks Rafael!

Yasou John! I hope you are doing well.
I go collinite 845 followed by bead maker
Great combo!
@@PanTheOrganizer thank you 🙏
I have some 845 that just came in the mail. I can't wait to try it out. I'll have to pick up some power lock soon to try the combo. You should do a test on the poorboys world product line. I bought their white diamond glaze and it really makes my paint shine, their wheel cleaner works great too!
Thanks Anthony!
Good day Pan. I have been detailing cars for about a year now and still learning a lot from your videos. Thanks again. When I detail cars, I always put my wax and top it off with a sealant (Adam’s Buttery wax / Turtle wax seal and shine). In this video you put your sealant first. Should we do the same for all the products or just with this combo (Power Lock / Colonite Wax)
Thank you very much
You would always apply the paint sealant first, regardless of the brand.

Seriously. Check out my review: ua-cam.com/video/J7uc4AlarpU/v-deo.html

Enjoy the channel very much so. Looking to see what you suggest to use on an 87 Grand National that has no clear coat. Thank you
Thanks! I don’t work on cars with no clear though...
Can I compund my dad's car 1st then polish and after that apply the the sealant and finally wax it or should I just apply the sealant and the wax ?
A car only needs compounding and polishing if you see scratches, swirls, oxidation, etc. If the paint is in good condition, you can step the polishing steps.
If you do however polish your paint, don't forget to do an IPA wipe down with something like CarPro Eraser, that way you'll remove the polishing oils and prep the surface for a better bond with the paint sealant.

Thanks for this video. Have you found a way to remove Jescar (Power Lock +) from plastic trim? Some time ago I applied Jescar to all surfaces (paint and plastic) of my Crosstrek, but subsequently found that it left a mottled white smear on the plastic parts, especially the rough plastic like the rear bumper cover. actually was searching for car wash products and your channel came up amongst others. Checked out your BMW full detail, then searched your other videos and had lots of cool stuff.
Cool!!
Hi Pan, love this combo. which polish( or finish polish) would you recommend before this Jescar/Collinite? , car is white well maintained and has little to no swirls etc..
Sonax Perfect finish polish.
Great to see matt here ! Thanks for the awesome video Pan.
Thanks Jim!
Do you think this is a good combo for blk/dark colors? If not what else o you suggest
Is jescar safe for rv fiberglass gelcoat finishes aswell as vinyl decals? Is the UV protection gonna last?
Collaboration in effect done well
Thanks Matthew! I like initiating collabs among detailing channels! :)
Can you apply Collinite 845 with microfibre pad on a DA machine?
Yes as long as you have a finishing pad (for liquid waxes or sealants) and use slow speeds on your polisher. Also, a trick with Collinite is to place the bottle in warm water for 20 minutes before use. It will make it less goopy and flow better.
Pan based on this video I have applied to my new Tesla Model 3. Looks great. Besides using a quick detailer, do you recommend using any type of spray wax or other product between washes?
You can apply thin layers of Meguiar’s X-Press Synthetic spray wax after each wash.
How long should I wait before I put on the wax after jes car
Sir ,I'm a big fan of you,I learned a lot from your videos.
My car is Honda civic and it is weekend driven , parked outside.
My question on washing is:-
How often one should wash the car ,I mean a week ,a month ?? Does frequently washing a car makes some areas/panel rusty/corrosion in long run in a vehicle?
plz reply I have many mixed answers on that.
You can wash your car as often as you like. I wash mine twice weekly. What you should do is have rustproofing applied to your car and also apply paint protection like wax, sealant or ceramic coating on your paint.
Hey pan after using jescar power lock sealant and colinite 845 would you top it with p&s bead maker I have the stuff
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks a lot for your quick reply.
