- Today we are swapping out the Catback exhaust again to get that perfect tone.
Most catbacks alone sound great until you add a jpipe. The jpipe makes some catbacks drone more than others.
We are swapping out to the LP Adventure Catback with resonator!

I have this exact exhaust installed also and although it is quieter than other solutions, it still puts out about 100 decibels *at idle* measured just at the tailpipe. This was bothering me so I ordered the Dynomax Ultra Flo 172215 muffler and replaced the resonator with that. A world of difference! It measures about 78 decibels at idle at the tailpjpe now, which is about 4 times quiter. Much nicer to drive around now.
after 4+ yrs w/my AWE Touring cbe (on my VA), I'm ready for a change. The prop aircraft tone is finally wearing on me, especially when the engine digs in (yellow bars) going up inclines
I prefer this tone over the older ones, it sounds more mature if that makes sense. If you agree let me know 👍

That sounds great; another alternative is the STI mufflers from Subaru for the VB. It sounds identical to this, maybe a smidge quieter, but not too much. It's also cheaper; dealers usually offer a 20% discount. I got mine for $889 after sales tax.
I agree with you 100% as I also have the sti axle back but it’s $1200 without the sweet sale you got lol. That’s steep for an axle back
@@603VB yeah man i don't think i would've purchased it if it wasn't for the sale. If you want to buy discounted OEM upgraded Subaru parts like STI Aero, look at the parts page for Walnut Creek, CA, and Sacramento, CA Subaru dealerships. They offer discounts on their website too. They'll ship it too and with shipping it is is still cheaper than paying the full price.
looks nice! LP is an hour drive from home, I shall go see them soon. Could you make a few more videos for how it sounds from the outside, and also could give the decibel volume on a cold start ? with my phone I measure about 80db with the Remark muffled catback on a cold start.

How would you compare the “drone” factor on this one compared to the MAP?
I would say the LP adventure has less drone than the MAPerformance. The LP Adventure is my new favorite exhaust! Especially if you are thinking of a jpipe.
Any idea how this compares to the Revel Medallion?
Not sure but I would think someone comparable. This ones is probably slightly quieter with a larger resonator than the revel.
