This is one of the prettiest villages you've been to. The houses are so quaint, and the church is amazing. I would always make a point to go into a church if it was open. I love those old churches. I would have loved to see inside the windmill too. Much nicer than modern wind turbines. Thank you, Chris and Oana for the tour. I loved it! And a special thank you to Miss Poppy for the tummy roll!
It is a very lovely place, Lorraine, but as you can appreciate very popular with tourists. Sad though not enough visit the church and the museum. But anyway, it was a pleasure for you and everyone to join us! :)
Thankyou so much again for a lovely video. I’ve been watching them every week. I love the old churches and castles. Im a history buff myself. I thought the red stone work on the floor of the church was beautiful and just enjoying your walk a bouts. I can’t travel anytime soon but hopefully one day. England is such a magical place
What a Fine tour of Finchingfield Oana, Poppy and Chris! Indeed, the church was the icing on the cake! I like you Chris would be attracted to the churches, church yards and museums with a drink at a pub later. Some very beautiful buildings and the museum was wonderful! I believe those witches sticks could well be used in Washington DC! Perhaps a street vendor there could make a fortune selling them, eh? Thank You So Much! I’ve sat here touring this Lovely town this Saturday afternoon and was sorry to see it end. But you’ve covered all those interesting places I would gravitate to. Many Blessings, Safe Journeys, Great Adventures with Love, Light, Peace and Joy of Being! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania
I have really come to look forward to these walking tours. As I get older, the chances of me being able to get to England get smaller. The museum walk around was brilliant.
What a great video. I was stationed at RAF Wethersfield in the late 80’s until it closed in 1990. We took a tour of the church and I still have all my old photos framed and displayed in my house. I have always admired the English respect for tradition that we sadly do not have in the US.
I was at one time in the early 80`s a police liasion officer to the USAF. Enjoyed my visits there. I recall the Red Horse Squadron was based there at that time. :)
I loved visiting here when we lived in Thurlow. There used to be a restaurant called Poppy's. I believe Mickey Rourke bought a house nearby. Thank you, guys 😊
Was mentioned in Haverhill Echo around 2004. The London corridor attracts some actors especially those who want to learn more about UK. And who can blame them. Thank you again Chris 🙏
That for me was an utterly delightful experience! I almost felt I was with you all! Seeing the inside of that wonderful old building where the lady, kindly talked about it's history was amazing! To be honest I was flabbergasted with the whole clip! Thank you Chris and of course Oana and dear Poppy too! I hope you have a nice weekend! Thank you once again!

Fantastic watch, have many fond memories visiting Finchingfield antique centre with my dear friend Jan 20 years ago, the church is a very special place ,i think it was also used in a feature length Lovejoy !
Thank you so much !! Brought back a lot of great memories. We lived in the Manse beside The Fox Inn for 2 months in 1965, before moving onto RAF Wethersfield air base. Finchingfield hasn't changed one bit, ha. Got to do my own walk around tour in 2002 and 2008. Cheers n fisn n chips !!
Omg the rollover - no wonder you both adore her 😘 Hatfield Broad Oak is 2here lovejoy also filmed and a well known author depicted drawings on famous children's books from the houses seen
I'm going to watch this now. Interesting fact Jamie Oliver owns a mansion in Finchingfield. He and his wife who your partner reminds me of, are often seen in their vespas. I will definitely share your videos and visit museum

The lake was featured in many editions of the Essex Countryside magazine. Especially when dealers were promoting a new car.
