£7149 for a full build or £4000 for a frameset, that'll save anyone googling the price.
Yeah, great bike and all that, but it is really hard to justify that price. Especially to a wife
Are the frame mounts Transmission compatible?
@@MichalStaniewskiI know a decent divorce lawyer if you want their details 😉
Or they could watch the video and around the 2:00 the prices are mentioned.
@@DS-um9hi they do mention the price, but i had to google it just to check that i heard the price correct and that reilly are charging that sort of money for an off the shelf frame.whilst sturdy cycles will offer you a custom build Ti Fiadh which this is basically a copy of for the same sort of money.
Carbon shapes with the longevity of titanium. Me likey.
So did i until i heard the prices now i think NO THANK YOU.
@@daviddjerassi Same price as high quality carbon frames
Me no likey price
I want titanium, but I want them all to look like this. I love a beautiful weld but a smooth overall more aero looking shape is a big seller for me. Great work Reilly
That is such a beautiful looking bike! I love it 🎉
I absolutely love it. This is the first titanium frame, or Bike I’ve seen that says itself apart from the traditional welded tubes into something aero. !, wow
Everything about that Reflex is perfection down to the color choices for anodized parts.
Love the small details, it is epic up close and I really want to stock them
100% better than any plastic bike
Wow. 700x55c! Beautiful bike. I like the seat stay / seat post interface as is.
Lovely looking bikes.
That is looking beautiful, great bike!
Beautiful bikes from Reilly!
Looks tough. Love it
Absolutely beautiful bikes, titanium frames look so magical.💯👌🏻🚴♀️
Awesome & Thanks :)
Gorgeous bikes but it's always the prices I can't justify.
Gorgeous.
Now that's a long term kind of weapon
lovely looking bike.
Nice video .Thnx
What integrated handlebars did you use for this reflex build? Looks nice!
Just got off Reilly's website to get a good look at the welds. Moots is in no danger of obsolescence, but wow, the price differences are HUGE. Internal cabling on a gravel bike seems over the top, but it is a very clean look indeed (as Dave would say.) Look at the welds and compare them to Moots'. Then decide if you want to pay more for 'double pass' welding. Beautiful rigs, but if you ride a Moots as I do, you'll notice the welding.
Where do you get the money to buy moots and dies your wife knows
You'll also notice standard round tubes, no manipulation of the tubes, no 3d castings, no hydroforming, no folding or cold rolling. Moots have easily smudges & scuffed bead blasted finishes too. I mean, any frame builder can butcher the welds of their frames with abra-saws as Cannondale used to do in the 90s, smooth welds don't make a better riding bike.
@@HomibNicodemus-ms8joyes she knows and divorced him
@@darrenlawlor8957 cope harder
@@decoherence926I'm unsure what you mean by that? Moots are overpriced, and sold off of hype, not performance. Smoother welds versus manipulated tubes, fair enough; each to their own.
Ti rules!
when are you gonna get your hands on the 2024 giant propel for a review?! Im gonna be getting it in a few days and im so excited
I've reviewed it a few weeks ago! ua-cam.com/video/o-fyu512kc0/v-deo.html
Nice! Haven’t heard cost yet… I would trust titanium over carbon fiber.
the price is in the video :)
A lot of money and work into hydroforming but could have just perfected the welds for better execution. The welds ruined it for me considering those are the bikes on the site they chose to take pictures of. Do they sell tubing and frame build kits? They do have beautiful lines.
il take two, the other with a shimano motor BB
I guess CX race not UCI rules so allow fat tires.
Love that head tube, but there’s no need for clearance up to 55mm on 700c wheels, puts me off that does
and another reilly bites the dust - may as well price it up for 30000 pounds knob heads! I shall be buying a Planet X Titanium
Lol enjoy that planet flex
I just hate the price
A little over 20lbs….it’s over 2lbs heavier than my size 58 Specialized Crux that has new SRAM Force 2x with a power meter and pedals / Edge 1040 / cages…
interesting that you went for a super lightweight frame and then used a 2x setup?
It will outlive your crux though.
£5k max
As soon as he mentioned silly money, I lost interest immediately!
🥴
Man, Reilly is the worst company in the world 😂 Their customer service is a total joke. If you live and order from outside of UK that is.
What's your experience with them?
@@francescosaturnino113 Of the kind where I would not touch a Reilly frame even if they gave me one for free.
@@tonyg3091just lying though arent you
@@karl8805 Why would I? I waited for the fucking frame for like year and a half and when they finally shipped nobody cared to track the shipment, it disappeared and theycame with some super lame excuse it was stolen in Belgium at the airport and said sorry we don’t know when can we ship another frame to you as we make them in Taiwan.
F*ck them.
Too expensive
is there an issue painting titanium? cos it's f*****g ugly. beautiful bike, ugly bare titanium!!!!!!
I shared some clips of the anodised bike they had on show too
I wouldn't go as far saying it is fugly, but I do think that, like most other titanium framebuilders, they do miss out on an opportunity to make the bike better looking. It seems that ti framebuilders (and bike owners) want to show to the world that the bike is made of titanium, and they do that by leaving it bare. Or brush it, or give it a bit of anodising here and there. But the bikes would look *SO* much better with a good paintjob, which could still emphasize the frame material, the workmanship and the unique features this bike has.
@@eagerbob they could have a sticker on their forehead announcing "ive just bought a ded expensive bike, it's titanium y'know"
Uh oh, everyone already owns a carbon fiber bike, sales are thus stagnant, looks like Titanium is the new shiny object. Get a Ti bike everyone or you're a loser !
Nothing new about titanium has been an appealing choice since the 90s for many cyclists (this one included)
