Aw man, this show was just so damn good. I watched at least most of the episodes...and that was quality TV. The references and cameos in this show were amazing, especially the cartoon ones (since Cartoon Network was owned by Time Warner, it was easy to sneak franchises like Scooby-Doo, the Flinstones and Yogi Bear in the show), which in some cases added a level of throwback to the show, which made it all the better. Ah yes...and the MLP reference as well...classic. :P
I remember when I was little and I got so excited when Scooby-Doo appeared on the show, that cameo came out of nowhere but I was so happy and excited to see my favorite cartoon dog in a different show. Coincidentally right after that was the Fred Flintstone episode. I hadn't really seen The Flintstones only in commercials I mostly knew them from the Pebbles cereal box. But my mom explained who Fred was.
I always loved how Nigel Planter had a scar in the shaped of an L on his forehead, symbolism at it's best. I also liked how there was that one episode where he was all of a sudden bigger and had a deeper voice, which was a joke on how quickly the actors from Harry Potter have aged between each sequel.
Juan Sebastian Zunino Funny you should say that. When I first saw a commercial advertising this episode back in the day, I also could have sworn he said "Gimme that, bastard!" He definitely says "basket" though.
I liked all of the cameos that were in this show. There was also that episode where General Skarr was green and had a leaf on his head = reference to the Pikmin video game series.
This was truly when Cartoon Network creators were friendly and working together with one mind, giving permission for these cameos to appear. Where did these days go. Now these newer shows are shit
***** I dont want to grow up over my CHILDHOOD yes. Idc what anyone says that generation was the best for cartoons no matter how you're choosing to go about this. Dude they're continuing powerpuff girls, samurai jack, teen titans, etc. and they're all bs.. Ofc im defending my "Childhood" so freaking what
ıllıllı Ani Maker ıllıllı I'm saying that the reason you're not watching the new cartoons is because you have no nostalgia over them - no new memories over them. You never watched them because you grew up and had less time to keep up with the new cartoons. I can honestly tell you that elder people called your cartoon era garbage in comparison to what they watched, like Looney Tunes and Walt Disney shorts. It's all subjective. Just like there's some bad shows airing right now, there were bad shows that aired during your time. In the future, people will complain about the new shows while praise the shows from the now.
In the episode where Nergle and Grim open their own pizza businesses, there's a Foster's Home for Imaginary friends reference. Billy's mom turned on cartoons and the title for the show is "Fister's Home for Crazy Made Up People" then shows billy and mandy versions of the Fosters characters and then the house blows up lol.
The best one is when the Aliens come and say they are practicing to eat humans and have cardboard cutouts of a bunch of cartoon network characters. It is hilarious I think it was the movie where the aliens have cheese come out of their armpits
"I think it was the movie where the aliens have cheese come out of their armpits" I wonder if you ever thought you would ever type a sentence like this XD
Hoss Delgado is a cameo in more ways than one. He's based off of Snake Plissken from Escape from NY, his chainsaw hand is a reference to Ash from the Evil Dead series, and his name is a parody of a DC character, Jose Delgado. There's also that one episode he was in where they made a reference to Resident Evil, in which Mandy was playing a game called President Evil.

Why did Yogi and Boo Boo look high?
+NoisyboyGaming picnic baskets are a hell of a drug
oxking machado So Yellowstone Park is where people go to do their deals.
NoisyboyGaming i thought yogi lived in jellystone park. did he move? maybe he did jellystone is not as safe anymore with the ranger gone.
oxking machado Shit dawg I am so high I can't even tell. Yogi got me addicted.
+NoisyBoyGaming I blame Ranger Rick.
shouldn't mandy be buttercup
They were all ashamed of the situation. Really none of them fit and I think that was the point ;p
It was supposed to be ironic or something xD
none of them fit the roles so it would be funny
Blossom - smart, good-natured, leader
Literal Grim Reaper
Bubbles - warm hearted, "the cute one," soft
Mandy - cold, devious, intelligent, quiet, bitter, ruthless
Buttercup - aggressive, cool, likes to fight
Billy - dim-witted, happy-go-lucky
They all clash way too much. I guess you could make Billy Bubbles but even then it's not even close.
Yeah but it’s funny thinking sweet bubble could be cold hearted Mandy 🤣🤣
That's how ironic the situation was. It had so many layers of irony it was essentially a "dank meme" before dank memes even existed/became normie memes.
We need billy and Mandy back into our lives
Or Evil Con Carne.
@@ChristianFrates1997 naw I was never into it
Same
Yogi and boo boo was terribly disturbing.
They look like they smoke weed
cutesy & lolz I was gonna go with "meth heads" more... If you know pot smokers who look like that, that's probably not the only thing they're smoking lol
Synjun Palomino Allot of pot heads look like that. Irritated eyes and dark circles. Not all have these symptoms. Some one i use to know did meth but had pristine teeth.
How long did he do meth for? Im sure a few uses won't put your teeth to shit but a year plus has to definitely do something.
from their teens to late 20s. another i know that has pretty teeth started early teens and is still using at 43. with the one still useing it shows on her skin and mental health. All of meth heads dont brush their teeth. The one that stop doing is a health nut when it comes to her teeth.. Idk about the one still useing. Normally meth heads that brush their teeth, teeth looks blue(clean but unhealthy).. One guy my step dad knew would brush his teeth till he brushed the skin of his gums. The 43 year old scratches her skin till it come off. The mountain i live on is nick named meth mountain and meths nick name around here is sand mountain slimfast. lol Tho there are more pot heads than meth. Not as bad as it sounds.
yogi scratched his arm like a crackhead Lmao XD
I love how they just straight up use the characters instead of trying to encrypt them.
like if the profesor ran in and wa slike "Mojo Bobo is attacking the city" or something
the balls
The shows were made by the same company so I doubt any conflict was possible.
yea no WAAAAAAAAY behind in the horizon bullshit.
In the crossover called, The Grim Adventures Of The KND, Billy says, “There’s only one group of kids who can help me now!” And Billy actually calls Ed, Edd and Eddy! Here’s the scene:
Billy: DAD’S PANTS!!! What do I do?! Dad’s gonna sell my organs if he finds out I ripped his lucky pants! There’s only one group of kids who can help me now!
*Cellphone rings*
Ed: Hello!
Eddy: Ed, Edd and Eddy’s pesky problem fixers! Got a problem that’s pesky? We’ll fix it for just one lousy quarter!
*Awkward silence*
Eddy: *WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU’RE BROKE?!*
*Ed falls on Edd*
Edd: Ohhhhhhh...
Eddy: Hey, if you’re looking for charity, call Kids Next Door! They’re cheap!
*Hangs up*
Why wasn’t this on the list as #1?
Billy and mandy & Ed Edd&Eddy
Forgot Hokey Monsters! The reference to Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokémon at the same time
I always wanted to play with my Pokemon cards after watching that episode lol
don't forget they did a spongebob one too!
2:57 for some of you it may sound like Yogi is saying bastard, but he is actually saying basket
haha could have sworn he said bastard
@@kryptonitespider-bitedynam7305
2:56 no, he said basket.

*NO. DORA FROM ADULT SWIM.*
Mutha Goose is this the first time they did a Nickelodeon and a cartoon network crossover
6:21 20 seconds better than the whole reboot
Also the fact that Hoss Delgado is a reference to Ash from the Evil Dead series.
Also there was an episode where Billy and Mandy play a video game that's a reference to Resident Evil
I think Hoss Delgado was a reference of Snake Plissken from Escape from New York/Escape from LA.
That's it!!!
Grim, the original brony.
I also liked how there was that one episode where he was all of a sudden bigger and had a deeper voice, which was a joke on how quickly the actors from Harry Potter have aged between each sequel.
in the yogi bear one i understood "Gimme that, bastard"
He indeed said basket.
Juan Sebastian Zunino Funny you should say that. When I first saw a commercial advertising this episode back in the day, I also could have sworn he said "Gimme that, bastard!"
He definitely says "basket" though.
What scares me now about this show, is how they predicted that My Little Pony would become popular with men.
That's some crazy shit right there...
Rude
WARNING! Triggered Brony ahead!
2:29 *"Hey little girl!"*
Fuck that shit always makes me laugh hard
Yogi Bear 2:34
I liked all of the cameos that were in this show.
There was also that episode where General Skarr was green and had a leaf on his head = reference to the Pikmin video game series.
I noticed at 4:11 it was Charlie Brown's shirt.
I'm not the only one :D!
This means the principle of Billy and Mandy's school is actually Charlie Brown in a grown, sad old man form O_O
(1:16) They even got Frank Welker to do Scooby's voice!
I remember some of these. Lol love when shows/movies/etc make references/Easter eggs/callbacks to different things.
This was truly when Cartoon Network creators were friendly and working together with one mind, giving permission for these cameos to appear. Where did these days go. Now these newer shows are shit
Implying they still don't happen? Get with the times; you're not noticing because you grew up and don't bother to watch the new shows.
TV was better in the past but I do have some favorites of the current era. Steven Universe is lame to me though.
yea man, cant beat the classics. Like Hammerman.
In the episode where Nergle and Grim open their own pizza businesses, there's a Foster's Home for Imaginary friends reference. Billy's mom turned on cartoons and the title for the show is "Fister's Home for Crazy Made Up People" then shows billy and mandy versions of the Fosters characters and then the house blows up lol.
woah, I wrote this a while ago
MrCrashBandicoot25 Yea you did lol
The best one is when the Aliens come and say they are practicing to eat humans and have cardboard cutouts of a bunch of cartoon network characters. It is hilarious I think it was the movie where the aliens have cheese come out of their armpits
"I think it was the movie where the aliens have cheese come out of their armpits"
I wonder if you ever thought you would ever type a sentence like this XD
LMAO yeah
Hue hue BR Dakotaz i wonder if you ever thought that you would enjoy a movie where cheese can come out of an aliens armpits XD
***** But it was a movie in Billy and Mandy
In "My Fair Mandy", the scene before The Powerpuff Girls reference is a reference to 2001: A Space Odyssey (the famous stargate sequence).
I remember being annoyed that Fred wasn't himself and instead went around screaming "Yabba Dabba"
Zach Martinez But In The Flintstones Fred Was Himself Screaming Yabba Dabba Doo On Occasions
Sonic The Hedgehog Keyword "occasion"
He did say his name though.
Man this brings back memories.
Did anybody notice Charlie Brown's shirt in the principal's car?
Levy Soto yea is said to my self and Charlie Brown
Yogi being an addict who gets his fix from picnic lunches... what a world
Hoss Delgado is a cameo in more ways than one.
There is also a small Charlie Brown reference. I the car where Fred steals the teacher, Charlie Brown's shirt is being hung to dry.
... I never realized how many other shows and what not they referenced on this one. It's pretty badass looking back.
You forgot the Keebler cookie elves from the “Here Thar Be Dwarves” episode.
Also the Charlie Brown shirt hangin' in the car at 4:06
I think the Principle was supposed to be Charlie Brown, basically saying he grew up miserable and depressed as he always was on his show lol
lmao that would make a lot of sense XD
Edit: great pic btw!
***** lol thanks! Your pic is pretty cool too ;)
lol i noticed this too xD
I'm surprised anyone missed that.
Now I looked back to it. Why are Yogi Bear and Boo Boo "crack" addicts?
