yep when the Main Street Electrical Parade debuted at Disneyland in '72 Disney Melodies were added to the Baroque Hoedown soundtrack for both MSEP & the EWP. (for the first year of the Electrical Water pageant all that was heard was Baroque Hoedown)
Danny Eyheralde Hi Danny, Hope you enjoyed, I been working on this for awhile and soon I will be posting another "more accurate" version. There were several errors in float designs and the baroque hoedown was more repetitive with a sound effect that occurred when each float appeared. The goldfish float did not exist.( was the three mermaids) The Neptune float was quite a different design. I now have images of that to reconstruct the float. Neptune was seated in a shell and appears to have a mermaid on his lap) From my understanding, the pageant flow was: floats appearing one by one, with sound effects, then switching to the American tribute, returning to all creature floats again. After all floats went out, there was a fire works display from barges. I don't know how long this went for after 1971.
@@TOMORROWSPHERE and one of the sections of baroque hoedown were looped as well which happens in a video of the electrical water pageant in 1976 with the first soundtrack
Hi Peter, thanks, I would like to let you know, I have been working on a better 1971 EWP, I was given more information and there were several errors. Firstly, the Serpent, did not have animated flame in 1971, the goldfish float did not exist and was in fact the mermaid float. King Neptune had a different design, it was very cartoony. During the process I was also informed that the music was more just the Baroque Hoedown repeated. each float had a special sound effect when it appeared. The EWP also ended with a American tribute, but following that would revert to the creature floats again, then followed by a firework display. Hopefully soon I will be able to put up a very accurate 1971 EWP. Thanks for your kind words. I have posted a v2, but have not made the changes yet.
Hi Danny! Disney put out two picture records in 1973, one was for the Electrical Water Pageant and one was for the Main Street Electrical Parade, I agree with you that it is the same music. There is a video of the 1976 EWP that has a version of the Baroque Hoedown as the main soundtrack, My understanding, from 1971-1976-7 they used a slower lower pitched version of the Baroque Hoedown. Later they used the Don Dorsey Classical Music, then later changed it to the current version. Here is the 76 show: ua-cam.com/video/gQd3v_DECd8/v-deo.html. There has been a lot of confusion about when soundtracks were switched. The 1973 records are the same soundtrack of the Main Street Electrical Parade and contain the cues from Disney movies, Alice In Wonderland , Cinderella...etc, that are not part of the EWP. I am sorry for the confusion and I am glad you mentioned it. I made a pdf available that covers the EWP in picture form. tomorrowsphere.blogspot.com/ Click on the link FIRE ON THE WATER! Hope this helps! I have been meaning to get back to the project again and re-do it with the correct floats and music.
The Electrical Water Pageant did indeed use the Baroque Hoedown as its underliner. It changed when the actual Main Street Electrical Parade made its debut in the Magic Kingdom in '77 (after the conclusion of American on Parade '75-'76). It would have been redundant to run two different parades, one land based and one water based with the same music. I remember seeing the water pageant from our room at the Contemporary in December of '73 and it did have the Hoedown as its base.
Hi, sorry I missed your message, I did this so long ago, I might still have the files, basically they were illustrator files which I made pngs and put them in sequence.
Remember the good times ❤
Thanks, I always wanted to re-do it proper, How I did it was not quite how I would do it now!

The water pageant originally had music similar to the street Electrical Parade?
Yes, this was this way until 1977 when MSEP got its soundtrack updated.

No, this is the music from the Main Street Electrical Parade. This one never had that music.

Hello, Is it possible I could be provided with just the animations for the 50th version of the parade without the water just the animations?

@@TOMORROWSPHERE Ahh ok... but can i still possibly have the 50th frames?
@@TOMORROWSPHERE I'd love to make a small LED panel version of this if you still have the original files?
