My 2020 batch performs very well and smells exactly like I remember. I have 2019 and 2020 batches of extreme too. I've tried 100s of fragrances and I come back to spicebomb every time. It's just the perfect masculine scent.
Nice I was able to snatch a fantastic deal for a spicebomb tester earlier this year at my local wholesaler discount fragrance store for $56 I really enjoy this scent and in my honest opinion it's one of my favorite spicy , fresh & masculine versatile fall / winter scent look forward to wearing it for going out for these seasons.

Good choice. I got mine last Christmas. Wife didn't know about discounters and paid full retail for the 100ml and travel bottles. No regrets at all, even for that price. Worth every penny.
I have a bottle that's only a couple years old, and I really don't notice any performance issues either! I do tend to like 1899 a little more, and wear that a little more often! Great vid Steve!!
Great take on the Bomb. I have a reformulated bottle and happen to have worn a few evenings ago and have to admit I got decent performance & longevity; could still smell in the morning. Alexandria's Bazooka is an alternative at a beat-discounters price, but it mainly amplifies and extends the sweet, carmelly dry-down. The opening 2-3 hrs are what does it for my tobacco-craving nose. Didn't even trade up for Rehab, which is great but still has a sweet and too-close-to-the-Bomb dry-down (and I don't getta lotta tobacco). Great, great content as always.
I agree. Unfortunately, I followed the hype and skipped the original for the Extreme flanker. It was pleasant, but far too powerful in that it was just always present. One of the nice things about the original to me is that I'm pleasantly surprised when it wafts up to me throughout the day. I love leather, spice and musk and this is just perfect for me in the Fall. My first bottle of this should arrive tomorrow and I'm so certain, I bought the 5oz.

Yeah the original is the best! Just like the original azzaro wanted. But most people give hype to spicebomb extreme and wanted by night, I don’t find them as nice as the originals
I tried both the extreme and original on my skin. The extreme is much more darker and heavier on the spice whereas the original is not as dark and bold. I found the original more smoother, balanced and pleasant.
As we enter these cooler months in Socal I've been looking at a fragrance more suited for the season. I've never smelled any Spicebomb, but have had it on my radar for quite some time. I couldn't decide whether to go for the original or extreme and then I just watched this video and you made my decision for me haha. Thanks again for another thorough review!

My sample won me over as I told myself to save it for the winter exclusively. Having one spray on me right now and Im remembering now why I loved it so much. The opening is just nose-melting. Remember back when I bought la nuit and wore spicebomb as a test, couldnt get enough of it, since then it stuck with me in my mind till this day.

I found my original 2012 bottle of Spicebomb purchased at the State St. Macy's in Chicago. Today, I went to Nordstrom to buy a new bottle to find an entire line of Spicebomb. After contemplating which one to buy, I ended up with the original (still the best to me!) and the Night Vision (so different yet similar to the original). Very happy with my purchases.

Here in Holland it's a really popular fragrance and its not because of Viktor & Rolf are dutch designers. It's just a good fragrance, easy to like and a timeless classic already.
I enjoyed the scent of this fragrance it kind reminds me of soda pop when you open it up and all the fizz comes up to my nose sweet and spicy notes in this fragrance
Is there anything your can recommend that’s close to the discontinued Tommy Hilfiger True Star Men? It was my fave back in the day but it didn’t last so long on your skin, though for the time that it did, man I loved it! I would love to find a fragrance that’s on par with it
Spicebomb is my goat but I wear Beverly Hills polo club blaze as my daily in fall- spring.... bought two 100ml bottles for $22....... I’m sure everybody knows it smells like spicebomb but it super smells like spicebomb!!!!! Love the stuff

I sort of went through this process backwards. Had a sample of Spicebomb years ago. Tried it, forgot about it. Ended up trying Initio Rehab after seeing hype around it. Found that pretty disappointing but didn't have the direct comparison stuck in my head. Came across that old sample sprayer again a few days later, & can safely say this one's just not for me, even though by name & approach I'd expect it to be right up my alley. I think it strikes me as lacking balance or depth. Your review of the new NVEDP flanker sounded kinda nice... gonna have to check it out along with the Extreme version.

Wore this at work the other day and got 3 compliments lol, don't overspray though as it becomes cloying. Prefer this to the extreme which is too dark and warm imo, very Christmasy
Great scent for women too. If you like sweet and spicy scents. I think it should be marketed as unisex. It is very sweet and somewhat herbal on me. I am saving a couple of bucks to buy it.
The original is still the best by far I have 2nd reformulation batch 12/2017 Tried the latest batch 2020 , not bad but a little tame compared to my own batch Once i hav finished my 2x 150ml bottles I dont think I will repurchase again due to reformulation 2011 to 2013 batches were beast mode

Yes, I can assure you. I also have Spicebomb Christmas edition 2014, the bottle is beautiful, but sadly also reformulated, I think it was june or july 2014 batch the Christmas Edition. I also have a may 2014 150 ml bottle and that one is alot stronger, so definitely reformulated somewhere in June. Yet june 2014 till somewhere in 2015, first reformulation is okay, the smell doesn't differ so very much, it just is alot weaker. But the second reformulation of 2015 that one really sucks and few years later it reformulated a third time and that was even worse then the second.
I would say if you do not have a vintage and can't find one, go for the 2014 still. First reformulation the smell isn't really that different, just weaker but not super weak like second and third formulation. It's like vintage 2009 or 2010 la nuit de lhomme compared to 2011-2012 first reform la nuit de l'homme, the difference between first spicebomb formulation and second spicebomb formulation.

Same here (however I own all of them) Night Vision EDT is my favorite, smell great, performs well on my skin and always getting compliments from day one.

This is my Christmas fragrance perfect for that setup ....in my opinion. Spice is the scent of the moment this gives you the edge.

I still have my bottle from 2012. I recently managed to get my hands on Antidote, the latter outshines Spicebomb EDT in my opinion.
I have Alexandria's inspiration "Bazooka" and its 95% spot on! Got it for 28 bucks can't beat it.

I think Spicebomb is youthfully fresh and spicy but also mature because of the tobacco, leather and lavender 😎👍

Even if they reformulated it, for me, it is still a 1-2 spray with 2 spray MAX for this fragrance. So... it is still a beast mode fragrance.
