Just an FYI for anyone wanting to purge the fuel but have found that these motors will not start if the fuel pump fuse is removed. The sequence to disable fuel flow is as follows:
1 - turn the key to accessories
2 - push the accel pedal to the floor and hold it there
3 - turn the key to start with the pedal held down
The engine will crank but there will be no fuel supply. This is also the procedure for compression tests on these.
Hello, thanks for your videos, pretty informative, I want to ask you a question please, how to seal the fuel pressure sensor back into the rail so it does not leak? I have noticed there is no O ring when you took it off while there is a groove for it on the sensor, can you elaborate please? Cheers

Love your videos. I have a cx7 awd 4 cyl turbo with cyl #2 not firing. We checked the coil and plugs and are both good. They suspect the fuel injector malfunction. Is there another fix than replacement of the entire injector rail which is costly

What hose is the yellow one next to it? I'm not getting any fuel to my spark plugs when I unplug the yellow hose next to the blue one in this video and crank the engine fuel comes out. Any ideas where my fuel problem can be?
Does it have a o-ring on them? Replace one and it still leaking and I keep tightening it.

I replaced the fuel pressure sensor in my cousin's speed3 but we still received a fault code of that showed bad fuel pressure sensor the dealer told me i have to replace the fuel rail with the new pressure sensor or it will infect the integrity of the fuel rail and sensor and will not work, we have tried trhee times and I am bleliving they are right at the Mazda dealer . is there a way not to replace the fuel rail and the pressure sensor all together and can a used fuel rail and sensor work.
Would this replacement resolve the P0091 Engine code?
I had to replace my high pressure fuel pump to resolve this issue. It’s pretty easy to replace the pump it’s just an expensive part. Good luck
Every auto shop states that it doesn't fit my gen 2 ms3, why?

Guys, I am going crazy, not sure what else to do, my mazda cx7, sometimes it takes 5-10 minutes to start and then it starts normally, sometimes it shuts off while driving and starts after 5-10 minutes, sometimes it runs good for an hour, sometimes it shuts off 3 times in a 20 minute period. I already changed oxygen sensor bank 1, high pressure fuel pump, EGR valve, because the scanner pointed to those, but now those codes are gone but got new ones: P2178, P2246, P0340, P0091. any help is much appreciated,

Mazda CX7 check engine light on. Code P0192. ordered fuel rail pressure sensor off ebay. 27mm deep socket. Do as video says and start car pull #14 fuel pump fuse and let engine run out of gas. change sensor. Had to disconnect battery to get check engine light to reset. worked for a couple of days light back on now maybe bad sensor or fuel pump.
It might need fuel rail pressure sensor in my megane mk 2 hard start in the morning 3cranks before starting 😂

Hey I have a question my fuel rail pressure sensor went out on my 2009 Mazdaspeed3 I called Mazda and ask them how or what do I need to fix it and what part and they told me that I have to do the whole fuel rail is that true ?
No, the upgraded Bosch sensor will fit your ms3. I just installed it on my 2013 ms3 and it got rid of the p0192 and p0089 codes. It would take a while for it to start but once the pressure builds up then it'll be gud
