@roymoore8891 I recently visited the Versova Wholesale Fish Market and there were ample of fish available in different varieties I am glad that I made a Video.
On my recent trip to Guyana, after close to 16 years. I visited the fish market. It was really nice seeing so much fresh fish at good prices. Guyana is sure beautiful! Thanks for motivating me to fix my passport, Sir.
Amazing video. Guyana is blessed with bountiful of fishes. Other caribbean islands do not have the varieties and the amount of fresh fishes we have in guyana.
Very interesting video..,I hope de authority listen and star working in rebuilding and modernizing/The fish warf..Appreciate what your doing and various aspects of what you're/Show casing..,God bless you and yours..,Big up to all de guyanese massive..,Peace/One love..,
Guyana authorities must develop this place as it have space for boat parking. As ARD said they can develop the wooden ramps so that people get fresh fishes direct from boat to kitchen
Love this episode Danny, you got a lot of things highlighted, it can only make things better for the fishermen and vendors alike, hope the powers to be do the right thing and persevere Guyanese way of life with progress
You keep doing a tremendous job showing the culture and reality of Guyana 👍🏾❤ And you push for positive change👏🏾👏🏾 That wharf is in a deplorable and dangerous state. The fishermen need to form/join a union and lobby for Govt to upgrade to modern, sanitary conditions.
Hey ARD! My name is Corey Guy Brammah Semple, a passionate filmmaker with a deep connection to my Guyanese roots in Queens New York. Firstly, let me express my utmost admiration for your UA-cam show. Your content has been a consistent source of inspiration for me and has played a significant role in my own creative journey. I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt request regarding my upcoming documentary about the cultural heritage about GUYANA project called GUYAPORA. I would love to connect with you to talk more! My project will strengthen the connection between Guyanese creatives in the diaspora and Guyanese creatives in Guyana. I want to preserve our folklore stories, songs, traditions, and culture through film.
You've picked the BEST person to lead you to your destination. Denny is by far the BEST. His love and dedication will surely make your request more than you bargain for. I will bet that you're NOT going to be disappointed with his knowledge, his suggestions, and his solutions. He has become my daily motivation. It would be an honor to share anytime with him. He's kind, friendly, well groomed, well manners, and unless he's paying the bystanders, lol. They ALL seem to enjoy Him and His purpose for doing His vlogs. While lots are camera shy, and some are downright RUDE, some of the subscribers feel like Denny is NOT including Afro-Guyanese. Oh, Gosh. I DON'T have anything negative to say about what I have been seeing. Denny is truly an inspiration to many, including myself. Just an FYI...I have never met Denny. I make comments on his vlogs. He's never too busy to respond to his fans and subscribers. One of Guyanas' greatest. What a blessing to be able to do what he's doing. Bravo, Mr. Denny Persaud and the ARD team. 😊
Good day Danny I must congratulate you on all your excellent videos you posted regularly of guyana and all the beautiful places of interest for all Guyanese living in guyana and abroad to visit. I am very impressed that you have highlighted the different issues and concerned to the local council and government to deal with. You also asking local Guyanese to keep the place clean and tidy. I hope to have the opportunity to meet up with you in December; at the moment I am recovering from a Heart bypass operation and I have been following your videos with great joy. Have a blessed day keep up the good works
Good morning ARD AND FAMILY'S I really enjoy all of your videos keep up with your great work and be safe and not forgetting how can life get better than 😊❤
Watching from London. My family lived in Rahamans Park at one time and we went to the Catholic Church in Meadow Bank. We had lots of friends living there. I think our friend Johnny Lewes still love there. Thanks for sharing. Now I will have to eat fish tomorrow.
Danny it is so sad to see what these fishermen go through after a hard days of work at sea At least they authority can fix the warft properly. They can clean and cast the entire warft and get pipe and drain to allow the waste water to run out back in the river.
Thanks for showing us the fish wharf. That was amazing, seeing all those fishes and the way the people are carryingn themselves. I hope when I come to Guyana I can visit the wharf. But Danny you have to fix your windshield on the front of your van. Take care. Keep doing what you are doing.
Hope someone is looking at this video. With all the developments in Guyana these are the places that need the most help. It will help the hard working people the most and make Guyana a better productive country.
This is the right thing you are doing call on the authority to FIXED THE WARF its a longtime they are in control i am 100 % agree with you since i was going to buy bait and earlier when i was working on the other side right across the government warf i was working on trawler
Hi are my name is rehana and I was born in Guyana I leave Guyana when I was 16 years old I miss Guyana life I love short and I miss the fish the fresh fruits and I wish I can get some of the Gail barker❤❤❤❤❤
I grew up in Meadow Bank where they are currently selling fish the banding was close to our house.. I stayed from our window and saw the fishing boats come in by the Kokodam. The good old days.
Great showing the deplorable conditions of the wharf , our fisherfolk deserve better working conditions , fish prices are very good there , love your videos.
Totally agree with you, that the wharf needs sorting out. Anyone could trip over those planks of timber. Life can get better for the men who have to pull those fish carts on that uneven wharf. It's their way of living and they certainly need betterment. Lots of fish to choose from and the filleting is a skill.
GM Ard i remember those places my father used to take me there we used to buy fish some time get free and bring an share with our friends remember in the 80 nice living in Suriname u dont see those thing Guyana always a nice place ❤
The government needs to make that place better than that it’s in a deplorable condition those people need a better environment someone can loose their life or get bad hurt those are people that put food on their plate thanks 😊 Mr ARD for showcasing these hardworking people problems ❤❤❤
From the drone video, Guyanese officially keeping the place clean, I remember when Queen of England visited everyone started cleaning up the roads, now they have oil, they’re officially Clean 😂
What?! I just come back form the Supermarket with Ocean Sea Fish Fingers. Used for sandwiches at home. We can't afford to buy fish in Scotland. All other meat is cheaper. But I love my fish. Put the fish on the next plane to England and Scotland. 😂 Big business. Talk to the Bassman in Ogle Seafront to setup the business we London. Big Up the Fishermen/women. Big Up Captain Blakboy your navigator. I salute you Comrade Leader Danny. God bless you for keeping Guyana connected.
Denny! Please let me know where this place is. I will definitely come to get my fish and shrimps here when I come to Guyana. Simply amazing. The prices are a giveaway. 😊
I really enjoyed watching this. Something should be definately done to repair the pathway to the boats, and make proper stalls for the fishmongers. They need to dispose of the garbage in a more healthy way, this is not safe at all.when there's proper disposal facilities and anyone caught disposing their remains in anyway thats not sanitary should be fined,so everyone will follow the rules. All the old vessels and broken wharf should be removed. This place is so beautiful and should be preserved.
Thanks for another great video Danny! The government need to bring you on as a civil engineer consultant. You have a lot of great ideas I'm assuming due to your travels.
