I think she's running for, or wants to run, for the school board in her district, because she knows that taking up space in the local offices that go below even the mayoral or governor or council person level is just as important. It's the folks who are on the school boards that are banning books in the schools across the country.

This allows stupid people to play stupid. It's a distraction to constantly have to explain this. When I first heard it I thought they meant get rid of the police.

This lady is very smart, relatable and very interesting. In Scotland we have different type of police, community police, regular police both do not carry guns (thank goodness). Only trained armed police carry them here. It makes such a huge difference not seeing guns everywhere on a daily basis.

I always said throughout high school social studies and college that reconstruction didn't address the needs of the formerly enslaved. I have gotta read her works appreciate yall having this intelligent woman on the show.

We had congressmen, schools were created for us (and poor whites), and we were given land. Johnson undid all of that.
We absolutely need to amplify her voice, read her book, gift her book to our youngsters & really learn from this beautiful young soul & be energized & become active.
After looking up her book, I realized shes the girl that was very passionate in the video that went viral after George Floyd's death. She was comparing monopoly to financial inequity of blacks. That time when I watched the video, she was so powerful in her explanation as she was powerful in this segment. I love her energy.
