Hi Steve! I would be very interested to know whether there are any differences between the Korean spoken in North and South Korea. I can very well imagine that the Korean in North Korea is maybe not so modern, more archaic. By the way, your videos really inspire me and are greatly helping to pull me out of a long bout of depression. Thanks a lot!
How is it possible to learn a language without knowing how to write in that language?! How did you learn how to read in Korean if you don't know how to write it? Steve, I hope you understood the meaning of my questions!
It's possible to learn languages that use characters (Some Asian languages) or scripts (Arabic, Hindi, etc.) if there is a standardized Latin transcript. For example Xìe xìe = thank you (Chinese) Konichi wa = Good day (Japanese) Namaste = hello (Hindi) Of course, I don't know how to read or write in those languages, but if you read a language learning book they explain you how to read and pronounce the Latin version. If you can read this message, you are already familiar with the Latin alphabet =-D
I was watching! I was so happy! Great game!

I can read, I hear the sounds, I know the sounds the the symbols represent. I just don't write. I don't see a problem.
