I had been a travel addict and travel blogging/vlogging/writing for a while now. They even served palinca on that train! This is Transylvania. Your video feels fresh, authentic, raw and jovial, just like our Romanian culture. It is the best travel vlog about Romania I've watched.

Great video - well done both of you! I lived in Romania for 25 years from 1994 to 2018 and have been helping the Mocănița with its website and tourism promotion over the last 12 years. I also teach English to the staff of the Mocănița every summer (except this year due to Covid). We have a small but successful English language school for 10 days that is actually on the train while the train is running, and I have to say it's a LOT of fun! It's called "Trengleza" - a combination of the Romanian words for "train" and "English". I hope the Mocănița survives the Covid crisis and will continue running for many more years! :)

In southwest Romania there is a spectacular train line: Oravita - Anina. You can find accommodation in the area. Another tourist attraction is the Danube boilers, where you can ride the Danube River, you can see the huge face of Decebal, the King of the Dacians ....... You can come from London to Timisoara and from there you can do what I wrote up .... have a good time
