- Horses Waterfall and Mocanita Steam Train in the nord part of Romania, Maramures county. Located in the Rodna Mountains, Horses Waterfall, known as one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in our country, can be found predominantly on the northern slope of the Rodna Mountains, in close proximity to the Borsa tourist resort. Therefore, if you choose to visit the well-known Borsa resort, you cannot miss this wonderful waterfall. This is the reason why each year, the area that includes the resort as well as the Horses Waterfall is invaded by a multitude of national and international tourists.
The attraction itself is the fact that the water resulting from snow melt and from the rains throughout the year, collects in a glacial circle, and from there, crashes down the very steep slope of the Piatra Rea Reservation, forming this overwhelmingly beautiful waterfall. The waterfall consists of several freefall steps, the first two approximately 40m apart, while the following are closer together, merely 20m apart.
Romania is one of the very few places left in Europe where you can still experience the bygone era of the steam engine locomotives. So if you ever find yourself in the region of Maramures, Romania, don’t miss riding the Mocanita - Viseul de Sus - the last steam forestry train in Europe.

Yes it's true to many trees down. IKEA needed for furniture and it's to much corruption for anyone to stop them.
