      Thanks for the feedback. We recently bought a wireless microphone for filming. So the newer videos have much better audio, finally 🙌. It bothered us too 🫣😊. We will work on describing the flavors more in depth 😉

    I notice that the food scene in Prague has become rapidly globalised in the past 4 to 5 years. It is now as common to find all types of non-Czech food (Indian, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Arab, vegan, Italian, Brazilian etc) as it is Czech ones. Many new US fast food chains have also set up shop, latest being Dominos and Popeyes. The drink "bubble tea", seems to be the new trdelnik (although not called traditional Cz) - I counted on Google maps, 10 b-tea outlets in a very tiny area of the Old Town!!
    I visited Prague on numerous occasions in the mid-2010s and all but two (Lokal and the pub-eatery in Municipal Hse) of the 17 to 18 eateries selling only Czech food I went to, no longer exist. Sadly this includes a famous century-old deli called Jan Paukert.
    For the cultural "purists" such as myself, it's best to visit Prague now, before the city becomes even more globalised and "modernised". Let's not get started on what they're doing with some of the architecture even in the historical centre.

      I guess this goes for many cities around the world. We also see these franchise candy shops everywhere in Europe, with the huge bits of candy. All the same. Such a shame indeed. We agree with you on that. On the other hand I get that people love a bit of variety also the locals. I mean the youth loves to get their hands on a bubble tea. So I guess social media also creates the demand for this trendy shops to pop up everywhere. Luckily there are still enough local traditional restaurants in Prague to have great local food in 🙌

    Hi guys, just to let you know that chimney cake is strictly Hungarian traditional food. Anyway, love your video, great watching. Thank you for sharing.

      Thanks so much. I guess Prague fully tries to own the chimney cake. It is sold everywhere in town as if it comes from there 😊🫣😉

    Hello, Tim and Dennis! Prague looks like such an interesting place to visit, and the food is clearly amazing! There is such a great variety of delicious things to eat there. I love the gelato shop with the swings. Thanks for the wonderful video! I hope you are having a good weekend, and Nala is, too!

    You showed few tourist traps - chimney cake - trdelnik is not traditiona czech food, its yummy yes but its for tourists mostly. Served goulash in bread - yeah sometimes, but its again more for tourist, and potato soup - hahahah nooo - we at it from plate

    • @stufr.travel
      @stufr.travel  4 місяці тому

      I agree that we definitely showed some touristy items. But I think that is okay. Since as a tourist we always love trying the hyped things just as much as the authentic local dishes. So I guess we always try to include a bith of both in our videos. Especially on a first time visiting. If we go back we will dive more and more into the non-touristy things 🙌😉😊

      @@stufr.travel Yeah i understand, i dint want say its wrong food or no tasty, i wanna say it is not traditional. Some of them like svickova and next are really traditional and show icecream or pizza is good idea

    they just ripping off tourist with cheap dough. It cost less than $0.20 to make, that why it is even today Hungary's poor people food. Thank you for answering my comment. All the best in your travels and remember to post your experiences from around the world. Will be patiently waiting.

    If you want to identify a touristy restaurant or a clear tourist trap, look for the goulash in bread

    • @stufr.travel
      @stufr.travel  Рік тому +1

      Yeah this one was definitely a tourist restaurant in one of the major tourist streets. But sometimes that is okay 🤣. And the taste was good 😉

    Nothing traditional about chimney cake. No one outside of city center would eat it.

    • @stufr.travel
      @stufr.travel  9 місяців тому

      Yeah I agree it must be just for the tourists. But they are sooooo good and yummy 😉😊🙌

    • @janacivelova3912
      @janacivelova3912 9 місяців тому +1

      @stufr.travel haha, I get that 🤣 however, there are sooo many pastries and sweets every tourist should try if they want to know what the country has to offer. Living in the UK, I miss all those items daily! And it just is something you can't get anywhere else. It breaks my heart seeing tourists paying so much money for something that has very little connection with the Czech Republic.

    • @stufr.travel
      @stufr.travel  9 місяців тому

      @janacivelova3912 I get that for sure!! Next time we visit we will definitely be on the lookout for more sweets that are less touristy 🙌
