Brought a 56 mill grind wedge today. I flipped my ball over a tree to land 4 foot from the cup and saved my par thankyou! mill grinds perfect, also fitted today with the qi max driver along side the full set of qi irons releasing 2nd of Feb I CAN NOT WAIT!
Got a 58degs SB 1deg flat on order and cannot wait to give it a whirl and see the difference with the the spin ribs compared to the micro ribs on my MG3 wedges!
Just got me a 58* MG3 and a 54* MG4. What a difference to my older Adam’s wedges.🎉
I ordered the TW versions. Can’t wait to get them!
i just ordered a 50, 54, and 58. so excited!
Iv got the hi toe wedges love em 😊
I think these look great. The water testing tho, if you spray the blade with water, then chop balls out from the bag or brush away stuff on the grass before you hit, you've basically removed the water you were supposed to test? Also should spray the ball, to get the real honest results. Regardless, can't wait to try them, due for new nippers in the bag!
Agreed. Spray the ball if you truly want to see this, in hindsight I'd have changed that about this vid. Regardless the wedge and the water part is also insane
Can't wait till Sept. 8th when mine get to me
Just got a set of MG3, but damn these MG4 look sexy!!
Until rick shiels tells me weather or not it similar to a volkey and he approves i cant make any rash decisions here trottie. wish i could tho looks great.
🤣😂 I think he'll like it & you'll then feel comfortable. Honestly this is the best wedge I've used by TaylorMade. Really happy for the team behind this product
His done that bro… he said he loves them
@@steve827 he does a nice job
@@trottiegolf I’ve ordered mine here in Australia.. Cant wait to get them in middle September, I change wedges all the time but have a feeling these are going to stay in the bag for a good while
When are these wedges released?
Is this new etching going to chew threw golf balls more quickly?
I can't keep a golf ball in play long enough for that to matter...
@joshmuniz6401 good point. I retract my question. 😬
Just had a fitting for these today. Chewed the shit out of my prov1s
Yikes!
What bounce were you using?
Trottie what do play off?
You hit some very decent golf shots!
between SCR & +2 , I don't play much at times and at others I'm out there a lot. Like all of us you can tell when I'm golfing 😂
Ordered mine I can not wait till they come in!!! @taylormadegolf
Rory was using vokey today
Due they come all face raw ? Back and front
Just the face I think
Can you come out with a wedge where the face is chrome but the rest of the head is raw?
Why? The whole point of raw wedges is the ability to get as close as possible to the legal limit for groove sharpness because you are not adding more material by plating them.
@@RCGolf So that I can have less spin ofcourse.
I would buy these if Taylormade would sell them completely finished without the raw face. The rust would bother me
Someone finally copied the ping glide wedges
Would a totally raw version ever get released or chromed?
I just mentally can’t get my head round just a raw face.
Just personal preference
Believe it or not, fully raw head is harder to build due to more variances in weight, meaning more time is needed to build consistent swing weights... and consistent quality control is not exactly a TM strength. Customer services is though but you'll use them often.
@@HelsinkiPink Completely false. All club heads are "raw" before they are plated. The only benefit of "raw" wedges is that it allows for sharper grooves since you are not plating them with chrome. Weight variances can come from a few factors such as the quality control of the metal composition, the quality of the casting, the depth of the hosels and in this case the milling of the sole. It is not more than 2 grams in low quality clubs.
@@RCGolf I've seen tol drift as much as 5g on TM wedges.
Unfortunately this wedge is really good. Here we go again 🤦♂️
I bought these wedges. The very soft metal surface was worn completely off in 10 rounds. Total waste of money and duped.
hm... Rory already plays them... and still his short game is terrible
bc your short game is the best
