Yes, SmallRig have really stepped up their game by adding these lights. I have the RC120B, and its fantastic. Solid build and a bright light for its price point. I will definitely be looking at the RC350 and up for future lighting purchases. That quick release mount and the slow tilt mechanism are huge additions when compared to other brands. Great video, Jason.
I saw you using a fresnel with the light, can you recommend one you have tested? Unsure wether I can use the Aputure or the Nanlite ones for the Smallrig :)
I preferred the boxy, non-rounded form factor of the 120 series. But these still look like good lights Was that a fresnel attachment on your light? Which one was it?
So I just bought the Atomos Ninja V monitor for my a7iv as I have seen you use it a lot. What Codec do you use in the Atomos for your a7iv? ProRes or DNxHD, and what compression?
They did not pay you but we know that if you say something they don't like they will not send you another light again. 😅 Let's be honest there is a massive difference between a review when someone buys gear for their own hard earn money and all those funny reviews where the light was send for free you just see it immediately ;)
The potential of this light outdoors was not even seen, this was a waste of time, a lot of blah blah about the physical part of the light and very little to see the most important thing: the light
Just bought one on a crazy used deal from BH for like $380 bucks. Been needing a powerful key light and glad I got this one.
I use their cages and getting ready to upgrade lights so perfect timing on this video.
I think everyone has their cages by now haha

Yeah I would actually like to use the smaller RC120B. So perfect for their size for sure

What kind of power supply do you use outdoors?
Are there any V-mount battery adapters that can be used with the RC 350B?
So why you moved screen when 120B was on? How we can compare those?
Great review. How did you power the light when you were shooting outdoors?
I use an external battery pack to power my lights outside.
@@JasonMorrisphotocinemawhich one do you use? In case it can be sourced in the US.
You have an balcony stlye tent on your car roof? (Tiguan)

The fresnel was actually a godox version I have
Favorite? Seriously???
Yes. Favourite budget light for sure. Pricing is the key for a lot of people

I don’t record externally. There isn’t much benefits other than having th ability to use an SSD
