Why we ‘connected’ with Sinead is that she actually really loves what she’s doing, and that very immersive enthusiasm is passed eloquently on in her tours and it is truly infectious and engaging. You cannot manufacture this type of ‘warmth’, experience and passion into a vocation. ‘Thank you for putting the time and your expertise into this virtual experience for us all Sinead, Another stellar tour’.

As an American living in England in the sixties and seventies I bought my first hip "outfit" on Carnaby St. When I first turned the corner the magic of the era hit me right in the face. The shops were full of colorful outfits, people walked around star gazing. Fashion was making a statement. Being here was a dream. I couldn't wait to go to school the next week wearing my newest fashion. But looking at the street today, through your eyes, doesn't bring back the magic of the 60's. That type of fashion has "lost" its way and the street appears to have lost its personality. Really a Levis store is not trendy fashion. Sadly this is just another London Street with retail shops.

Sinead! Thank you so much for sharing this with us (love your coat). I learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed myself and loved all the Beatle info (fav band of all time.) You are so blessed to be surrounded by so much history and beautiful architecture. I definitely was born in the wrong country. Liked and subscribed.👍 Much love from Toronto 🍁

I read alot of "Rock History" books, especially the Stones. Thank you so much Sinead for this particular tour because in the books I've read, your stops were mentioned in the books. Now I can imagine where these historical spots are and what they look like without "jumping the pond." I love all our tours, but this one ROCKED! You are so knowledgeable.
Thanks again for watching! If you know of anyone else who might also enjoy these videos, please share us with them. We would really appreciate that! Thank you.
Sinead - you are a rock star - such a gifted story teller and wonderful steward of history! What I'm most impressed with is your ability to speak without umms and ahhs and you knows. So many wannabe guides stammer and stutter and ruin the presentation because they haven't invested the time to practice their craft. Hope to meet you in August when we visit London for the first time.

I've been to London over 14 times. I just love walking the streets checking out all there is to see. Other than NYC where I was born and raised London (and the rest of the UK) is where I would have loved to have been born. I had a blast each time I went, great sights, great people, great restaurants and great shops. Thank you for doing what you do.

You have the absolute best tours of a city I am dying to visit! I really really want to see one dedicated to Freddie Mercury and Queen though. Was hoping to see more of them in this video. If you could, PLEASE do one of the places and hang outs of their times! Thanks so much for your wonderful tours.

Extremely informative walkthrough. Would love it if at some time you could do a tour of the Tower of London. Thank you for all you do and the level of detail put in.
Thanks for watching! If you know of anyone else who might also enjoy these videos, please do share us with them. We would really appreciate that! Thank you.
Wonderful tour again, Sinead. I can't get enough of your videos. I was born in London and lived there until my early 30's... then moved to Northern Ireland 30 years ago... Your videos are gold to me. Can't wait for my visit next month when I'll use your invaluable information to enrich my trip and reacquaint myself with my home town. THANK YOU.
@@AFaceintheCrowd01 Was it Reckless Records or something? They were awesome and pretty cheap too. I need to get my CD's out of loft and back into my PC, I keep saying I am going to do it but never get round to it.
Hi from Brazil! I'm a fan of Sinead, I'm always learning something new with these tours! I loved the Jack the Ripper tour, hope to do it in person sometime. Cheers! :)
I shared a flat in Bayswater with the first Bunny Girl in the UK. Hello Cathy! Hope you're well and happy. We were 'Dolly birds', met Hendrix who occasionally came to stay in the Princes Hotel where so many young people stayed in the hope of being spotted at the Marquee or any of the numerous clubs in London. Wonderful times we'll never see again.
Glad that you enjoyed the tour a second time, Danny. If you haven't done so already, hopefully, you can check out our other virtual tours of London ua-cam.com/users/FreeToursbyFootLondonvideos. There is more of Sinead there.
Thank goodness for this fabulous channel .No sleep last three nights so these fabulous tours are helping the nights pass when I'm not sleepng which is most nights.Looking forward to watching all other tours , especially the ones with Sinead .

I've found your video by accident, Sinead ( hope I spelt it right ) , so interesting and informative, thank you 😊👍. I wil try your other videos as well . Excellent Presentation.
Brilliant recommendation. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Massive Beatles and Bowie fan. Will definitely be looking you guys up for more fun, should I ever get my backside back on a plane. Cheero and keep safe. 💜
I came across this channel quite by accident today and you now have an in AWE fan, I love my country and dislike people who feel it necessary to try and pull us down. The history is beyond anything its so rich and yes dark some quite dark times, its called life if everything was a rose garden it would be rather boring. I love that London makes the museums free. My love of music however is on a whole other scale. I can not sing a note but I very rarely watch TV I am a reader and a music fan, take my TV fine, take my phone I am fine. Take my books and music that's just a scenario I can not handle. I am proud of the calibre of musicians this great country has sent out to the world stage. Its a whose who and so rich in its diversity, I knew about Chandler and Hendrix. Hendrix just couldn't get signed. The world seems large but in other ways it is quite small. I am loving this Channel and no disrespect intended but the fact you are Irish and know so much about England is beyond IMPRESSIVE. Some of these items I didn't know about. Thank you for a fabulous insight into our Capital
Sinead, wonderful tour. I'm a music freak and I learned much from you. I believe that you left out Janis Joplin from your Forever 27 club. I apologize if I'm mistaken. Your tour was invaluable to me because I always wanted to visit England. I have asthma so I can't do so. This was definitely the next best thing. The Who are my favorite group so nice to see their old stomping grounds. I wish that I could have been there in the 60's. Again, thanks so much.

Hello this was very interersting and thankyou. On another note, have you every heard of Lions Teashops they were famous for their service. I worked there myself and I loved their welsh Rarebit, they apparently closed down in the sixties, that was a sad time.
👏Thank you Sinead, another great tour from you! I've been a tour guide in Berlin for a long time and have experienced many colleagues, but you are certainly one of the best. Your tours are lively and pictorial narrated, informative with many catchy stories. And it is visible how much you enjoy your tours. If you ever plan to come to Berlin, I'll be happy to show you around. Also, it would be a pleasure to welcome you at our monthly storytelling event (the bEAR - true stories told live), because you are such an excellent storyteller. (In addition, the video is well filmed and edited, with excellent sound quality!) 👍
Love this tour so much and I was thrilled to hear Rory Gallagher get a mention but I do have to be annoying and make a correction as a massive Queen fan, Bohemian Rhapsody wasn't recorded at Trident Studios but at four different studios though I'm sure it was whirling around Freddies head during their time there. They recorded their first three albums at Trident which lead to songs like Killer Queen. There are some great and cheeky recounts from the members of about their times recording here in the early hours of the morning but I'm glad they got their mention! The members of Queen would often frequent the Marquee before they had formed Queen as well! Brian May tells some great stories about how he met Rory Gallagher there one night when he hid back after a Taste gig!
Thanks for a very informative tour. I am one of those old Beatlemaniacs and you found things to show me that I didn't know! However, I don't believe anyone at street level could see the final performance on the rooftop, they were too far back from the edge. At one point, each Beatle leans over the side just to see what is down there. The documentary is great and I've watched it twice so far! So much more pleasant than the depressing one they slapped together in 1969.

I worked occasionally as a waitress at the Scotch of St James in 1971. I think it's glory days were over by then but we got some lesser celebs in there. I remember some of the cast of Hair coming in and other actors/singers of West End shows. Good Times in my misspent youth!
Thanks for watching and subscribing, Louise, and for the good wishes to the businesses. Luckily they are mostly all back in full swing. If you know of anyone else who might also enjoy these videos, please share us with them. We would really appreciate that! Thank you.
Hi Sinead - Enjoy your wonderful tours. Two of your buildings were especially interesting for me. I, with some friends, did manage to get into Scotch of St James in 1968 - I know the date because my friends had been to see Arthur Brown (Fire). We were 16 but made ourselves look older and we unintentionally made a little mess. The lights in the ladies were out - no problem we felt our way to the toilets but who would thought they'd have lids!! I worked at Trident 83/84 - the default pub was Nellie Dean in Dean Street.
I love this channel I found it this morning and I've been watching all day in-between walking my dog . I've only visited London once and that was Ilford and Wembley to see metallica . No doubt I'll be watching this channel way into the early hours . Thanks Sinead 😊
Glad you found us. We release at least one video per week. Be sure to subscribe and hit the bell notification so you don't miss anything, though UA-cam seems to know what you want regardless :).
My wife and I, while on our honeymoon, in 2007, across the pond, i London, took a two part, lengthy rock tour. It was orchestrated by a very nice and knowledgeable, older gentlemen, named Pat. We actually, by chance, met Jimmy Page, outside his Holland based, gothic mansion, during the tour. We even were fortunate to have retained a private NWOBHM tour, with he original drummer of angel Witch, Mr David Hogg. It was a HEAVY honeymoon, that we cherish the memories, to this very day.
At 18 Greek St is the home of Peter Cooks Establishment Club from 1961 to 1964,where Dudley Moore played jazz downstairs Above the door is a green plaque to Peter and Dudley 4 of us organised it Its now called Zebrano But the Establishment is having a resurgence
So Ho Muriel ? Bless. Mural perhaps. Awesome tour this one. I do many of these haunts myself when my friends from across the pond come over. But the Bowie one is new to me. SO will check that out maybe this week. Thanks

I have seen two virtual tours now. Absolutely excellent. Hence I have subscribed and I have many more tours to venture. Incredible knowledge and so interesting and lovely to listen to. I was quite moved when I watched a previous video when Prince Charles waved to acknowledge you. Plus your coat was lovely.
Tom The Taxi Driver brought me here. 👍 I wonder if many of the residents of Soho were drawn there by its musical heritage? The irony is that they helped bring it to an end. Great video.
You've been posting videos for ... 4 months? Why have I only just found this channel? This is such an excellent video and tour. Full of amazing insights. I love this! Gunna watch them all now.

THANK YOU.
Hi Declan, what part of NI did you move to?

Another fantastic tour with lots of interesting stories. It's great to see where the rock stars partied in the sixties.
Sinead love your tours! Thank you for sharing. Love your style and delivery too!
Glad you like them!
Sinead....you are so so good at what you do.
Sinead is a delight. So much enthusiasm and knowledge. Look forward to doing one of these tours in person later this year.
We are looking forward to seeing you, James!
Feel like crying. I've walked by everything. Unaware..must have to go back. Thank you very much for your information 😊
Loved going to Berwick Street record shops. Still have many in my collection purchased from there.
Don’t we all, mate, don’t we all.
Great tour Sinead - we had you on the ripper tour a few years back - you’ve got a great way - thanks again 👍🏻
Glad that you enjoyed the tour a second time, Danny. If you haven't done so already, hopefully, you can check out our other virtual tours of London ua-cam.com/users/FreeToursbyFootLondonvideos. There is more of Sinead there.

I've found your video by accident, Sinead ( hope I spelt it right ) , so interesting and informative, thank you 😊👍. I wil try your other videos as well . Excellent Presentation.
Fantastic tour- - so pleased you mentioned my uncle Chas Chandler… exciting times in the swinging 60s London. X
Brilliant recommendation. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Massive Beatles and Bowie fan. Will definitely be looking you guys up for more fun, should I ever get my backside back on a plane. Cheero and keep safe. 💜
Awesome, thank you!
Another brilliant tour. Thank you 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it, Claire.
And thank you Claire for your donation
It’s very much appreciated

really enjoyed your London Music Tour. I was following it all and celebrating it all in 1968/69 from Australia through magazines, music and clothes.
Glad you enjoyed it! And thank you for sharing your personal experience.
If you haven't done so already, hopefully, you can check out our other virtual tours of London ua-cam.com/users/FreeToursbyFootLondonvideos.

Another fine tour! Thank you…
Another great tour; love the stories, Sinead.
Glad you enjoyed it. 2 down and 45 virtual tours to go :).
Great Job. Best Tour ever. Thank's So much. Best Wishes from Germany. ❤
So pleased you liked this one, Werner!
I absolutely love your channel anything to do with London and I'm hooked even though I worked around London .thank you 🙂👍
We will take this as a high compliment. Thanks again for watching, Garry.
Stay tuned. We have a new video for you.
Just watched this video tour. Absolutely loved it and all the rock and roll history 👍👍

I worked occasionally as a waitress at the Scotch of St James in 1971. I think it's glory days were over by then but we got some lesser celebs in there. I remember some of the cast of Hair coming in and other actors/singers of West End shows. Good Times in my misspent youth!
Thanks for sharing this, Lin. That's very interesting to have a first-hand account.
Thanks my beautifull lady for this views. See you in the next video of london. Take care and god bless. Greets from munich.
You’re welcome Jochen

Love watching these until we can get there - our thoughts to all of the businesses forced to closed due to Covid.
Thanks for watching and subscribing, Louise, and for the good wishes to the businesses. Luckily they are mostly all back in full swing. If you know of anyone else who might also enjoy these videos, please share us with them. We would really appreciate that! Thank you.
Wonderful tour. Sinead you are mesmerizing …. Amazing job.
Thanks Sinead. You are a rock star yourself. 👏👏👏👏👏
Agreed!

Every Tour with you 💜🎼🎵🎶🎼🎵🎶is
OUTSTANDING ‼️ Such detail 👏 BRAVO🤗💯💯
At 18 Greek St is the home of Peter Cooks Establishment Club from 1961 to 1964,where Dudley Moore played jazz downstairs
Above the door is a green plaque to Peter and Dudley
4 of us organised it
Its now called Zebrano
But the Establishment is having a resurgence
So Ho Muriel ? Bless. Mural perhaps. Awesome tour this one. I do many of these haunts myself when my friends from across the pond come over. But the Bowie one is new to me. SO will check that out maybe this week. Thanks

Tom The Taxi Driver brought me here. 👍
I wonder if many of the residents of Soho were drawn there by its musical heritage? The irony is that they helped bring it to an end.
