Even if Arch is average, because of the incredible hype surrounding him, if he has even an average year at Texas he's likely to go in the top 5, if not #1 overall, because some NFL owner will see the name "Manning" and insist on drafting him.

If they cut him now its like 140mil dead for 2 years. If they hold on to him this year and cut him for 26 it effectively splits the 80mil ish over 2 years meaning about 40mil and thats AFRER the cap has had 2 8-10% increases meaning the cap is a fair bit heavier. This isnt a credit card where pushing money down the road means you'll get fucked in football YOU WANT TO KICK THE CAN!! It's accounting 101. This is a great move for the Brown's.
