Clayton got Cocky with his rage and ended up paying for it. still, out of all the deaths, getting hanged was the *Last* thing we would have thought of.
It's surprising when you think about it how very few Disney villains are actually directly killed by the hero. Most of the time their deaths are the result of their own carelessness (Frollo, Clayton, the Evil Queen).
Dr Facillier is working with a few demons in the form of tiki masks and undead zombies. He tried to pay the back but he failed. I wonder if he can pay them back in death.
Many people forgot that Scar not only killed Mufasa but literally enjoyed doin such a thing and takes his time to revel in the terror in Mufasa’s eyes.
Yep. Apparently in the sequel, it kinda led to a pointless misunderstanding that Zira thinks Simba killed Scar, but little did she know that it was actually the hyenas that killed Scar when they heard that Scar said the hyenas were the enemy.
Sure, but Jafar did the same thing when he thought he killed Aladdin. Nothing beats Clayton’s death. Not to mention all the while that Clayton is swinging his machete in his blind rage, Tarzan realizes he is endangering himself and still pleads for him to stop before he meets his foreseen death.
Belle is not the woman Gaston loves. She's the woman he wants to have sex with. And Beast wasn't innocent at first but he later learned it was wrong to kidnap her and let her go even though it would doom him
Plus the Beast came to respect Belle and love her for who she is which is the main reason why she fell for him. Gaston in the very beginning of the movie, disrespected her as a woman, her interests in reading and educating herself (which was shunned at that time period) and completely ignored everything about Belle except for her looks. Gaston treated her father like a piece of shit like everyone else in the village. Although Beast did the same thing when he first met him, he eventually let Belle go to him when he saw that he was sick and dying. The ending implies that Beast let Maurice move into the castle.
Bonus: In the original Snow White, the evil queen arrives at the wedding, and is punished for her actions by being forced to wear red hot iron shoes and dance until she drops dead. 😁

He once impaled prisoners of war and his own people on stakes and placed outside the city to scare away the invading Ottomans. He's also the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Can i just say, Clayton's death is my favorite because of one thing, it could have been avoided if he listened to Tarzan and stopped swinging his machete all over the place
I think Clayton should have been 1. As frolo when he falls into lava as with anybody would land on Molton rock which is solid and either die instantly from the impact or almost instantly from what actually happens when you fall into lava. You explode because your blood and body instantly boils creating steam and then pop.
Ursula caused a sea storm and was the tallest thing in the area by far. It makes sense that she got struck by lightning. It's more surprising it didn't happen sooner.

I would respectfully remind Team Gaston of a few things they often tend to overlook. First, while I acknowledge the Beast was definitely in the wrong at the beginning, he later reformed, and released Belle because he loved her. (This is also kinda the reverse of Stockholm Syndrome as he fell in love with her first, and while she did consider him a friend before truly falling in love with him herself, this wasn't until he started treating her better than Gaston ever did). Belle was no longer in need of rescuing, and the Beast potentially sacrificed his chance at becoming human again for her. Second, as noted already, Gaston didn't truly love Belle, he was merely infatuated with her for her physical beauty. Remember how he belittled her love for reading, and there is one more point for this I'll save for last. Third, Gaston never mentions the Beast kidnapping Belle to the villagers. As I mentioned already, by the time Gaston learned of the Beast's existence (he didn't believe Maurice at first), Belle was free. Instead of pointing out what the Beast DID do, Gaston made up whatever he could to get the villagers to go with his plan, and when the Beast refused to fight back (out of a broken heart) Gaston thought the Beast was too kind and gentle to even defend himself and taunted him for it. There is a moment in the fight where Gaston was intended to say "Time to die!" but they changed it to "Belle is mine!" specifically to remind the audience that his true objective, whatever he said to the villagers, was to eliminate his rival for Belle's affection. His vendetta against the Beast started with a jealous look at Belle's affectionate words towards the Beast and saying "If I didn't know better I'd think you had feelings for this monster." Fourth... Whatever you think about the Beast situation, let's not forget something else Gaston did, or at least attempted to do, that has nothing to do with the Beast. Gaston tried to blackmail Belle into marrying him by threatening to lock Maurice in an insane asylum. Both he and Monsieur D'Arque acknowledge that Maurice is harmless and Gaston was perfectly willing to lock him up in a place that is implied to be horrible given that Monsieur D'Arque is pretty evil himself (he calls Gaston's plan despicable and then says he loves it). He boasts with Lefou that no one takes cheap shots like Gaston, and attempts to carry out his threat without any hesitation or remorse when Belle refuses to marry him.
Yup. This was long, but I read it. Gaston is generally just evil. I was told that if Belle married Gaston, he just wanted to have sex with her, and who knows if he would have stuck with her after that? 😬
When I was little I didn’t notice the shadow of Clayton’s death and thought he just died from fall damage since I played a lot of Minecraft. I WAS WAY OFF
Dr. Facilier certainly had a brutal fate, but I don’t think anything beats the Horned King’s death from The Black Cauldron. That death scene was over-the-top violent and graphic. However, I am aware that the Horned King was not suffering on another side like the witch doctor.
The guy, impersonating as Prince Naveen, was arrested by the New Orleans police Phoebus rescued Quasimodo from his death Sonic the Hedgehog was correct about going turbo which involves a game over
it was, and I quote: " *AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA* "
1:46 skulls in Gaston's eyes. Also as to Facilier's death getting dragged into hell by demons: that fact that takes place in New Orleans I thought of that scene when the Saints got dragged into hell by the refs last weekend. Someone has to do a parody.
Oh damn. . . I never noticed Clayton's hung silhouette as a kid. 😳. And the way that Tarzan realised what he was doing and tried to tell him. . . Personally, though, I think I'd have to put Syndrome at Number One. . .I mean. . .being sucked into a jet propeller. . .I had nightmares about going that way. 😳.
Yea, I'd say my top 3 most dark and brutally disturbing deaths would be: 3. Scar, being eaten alive is pretty gross and not the most child friendly 2. The horned king, very gruesome cinematics 1. Clayton, seriously, that image of his shadow is NOT for kids, I was terrified when I realised what that was as I used to only focus on the machete
i find kinda creepy how i as a small child watched most of these films and found them really funny, including the deaths. now that i watched this video i feel like i'm going to have nightmares smh
Wow thanks for reminding me of Facilier’s death Something that has still left psychological scars on me since I first saw it a decade ago Can I just say the deaths where the hero/heroine looks absolutely horrified by what’s happening to the villain and it’s incredibly clear that they’re horrified are the absolute WORST ones Tarzan was trying to save Clayton, he might’ve hated the guy but he sure as fuck wasn’t intent on letting him get hanged or just have multiple other bones broken or whatever because of Clayton wildly slashing at the vines he was entangled in Tiana was most likely expecting just for Facilier to have something happen to him, or at least to be changed back perhaps thinking it could’ve been another way to turn human again She was not expecting the loa to drag him off to their realm begging and pleading the entire time to have another chance to make do on his promise to him And well the other deaths like that too But those stand out to me the most Because good GOD look at Tarzan and Tiana during the entirety of those scenes Tarzan is blind panic because he can sense what’s going to happen if Clayton continues to disregard his offer to help him Tiana is thinking ‘This was not what I was expecting, not even close. What have I done.’ A hero/heroine showing no fear or panic towards a villains death as it happens is satisfying because they’re pleased with the fact that the villains getting what they deserved A hero/heroine looking horrified by what’s going on is incredibly chilling Also Facilier wasn’t dragged to hell His friends from the other side aren’t demons, they’re loas, which are powerful voodoo spirits; they do not have any ties to Christianity and therefore do not have any form of hell Facilier was simply dragged to the other side where his friends came from Also Falling deaths terrify me because I’ve got a massive case of acrophobia And Oogie Boogies last words will forever haunt me, the pitch up changes in the voice as more and more bugs fall into the stew until it’s just one bug and it’s silenced by being stomped on And his songs hands down the best song from the movie Fucking fight me in the streets at 3 am over this I won’t back down
I miss truly human evil villains like Rourke, Frollo and Clayton. Not played for laughs, but truly terrifying, because you KNOW people like that exist. And the way they go out is so personal to them. Like frollo literally gets pretty much smited by the god he thinks he follows in a last ditch effort to kill the object of his desire. Rourke gets turned into a monster (both in actuality and metaphorically) by his object of desire (the crystal and the money it will make him) and Clayton dies because of his inability to show mercy and when Tarzan shows him mercy in the end, he is unable to accept it and literally kills himself as he aggressively cuts the vines that keep him alive. I love when Villains die of hyrbis rather than someone killing them actively. Same with Mr. Sykes and Syndrome. It's satisfying to see them essentially end themselves.
thats the point of these films, to show kids that being a bad person or being influenced by the wrong reasons will allow bad things to come back to you. In laymans terms, don't be an asshat
and the best method for any person to remember something, is if it is etched into their minds from discomfort, thats how many of us who watched these films do our best not to be like these people.
As a child that silhouette of Clayton hanging traumatized me, even many years later when I grew up and watched hangings in other shows/movies it would still remind me of that scene. Truly excellent work I can't lie.

as for no. 15 if you're siding with Gaston you are missing two important details 1. he is basically the mouse house's equivalent to Biff Tannen i.e a bully who try's everything up to and including blackmail to get his own way. 2. he knows damn well Belle doesn't want anything to with him but he doesn't a sh*t about that.

I think Clayton should have been 1. As frolo when he falls into lava as with anybody would land on Molton rock which is solid and either die instantly from the impact or almost instantly from what actually happens when you fall into lava. You explode because your blood and body instantly boils creating steam and then pop.
Ya know, seeing Clayton’s lifeless body hanging from a vine? Seeing its shadow just might be as terrifying as actually seeing the image.

A vampire hunter who met a bad end... betcha the lightning that hit was snow white's doing
Isame for you wolfie
I felt bad they don't show enough good characters dying.
His vendetta against the Beast started with a jealous look at Belle's affectionate words towards the Beast and saying "If I didn't know better I'd think you had feelings for this monster."
Fourth...
Wait people defend that creep why

Dr. Facilier certainly had a brutal fate, but I don’t think anything beats the Horned King’s death from The Black Cauldron. That death scene was over-the-top violent and graphic. However, I am aware that the Horned King was not suffering on another side like the witch doctor.

How is the Horned King's Death not here? That death was BRUTAL!
Yea, I'd say my top 3 most dark and brutally disturbing deaths would be:
3. Scar, being eaten alive is pretty gross and not the most child friendly
2. The horned king, very gruesome cinematics
Ooh boy... Facilier's death just hits different for me, the song, the colours, the voodoo dolls, the desperation, THE TOMBSTONE IN THE END. Ooh boy...
Wow thanks for reminding me of Facilier’s death
Something that has still left psychological scars on me since I first saw it a decade ago
Can I just say the deaths where the hero/heroine looks absolutely horrified by what’s happening to the villain and it’s incredibly clear that they’re horrified are the absolute WORST ones
Tarzan was trying to save Clayton, he might’ve hated the guy but he sure as fuck wasn’t intent on letting him get hanged or just have multiple other bones broken or whatever because of Clayton wildly slashing at the vines he was entangled in
Tiana was most likely expecting just for Facilier to have something happen to him, or at least to be changed back perhaps thinking it could’ve been another way to turn human again
She was not expecting the loa to drag him off to their realm begging and pleading the entire time to have another chance to make do on his promise to him
And well the other deaths like that too
But those stand out to me the most
Because good GOD look at Tarzan and Tiana during the entirety of those scenes
Tarzan is blind panic because he can sense what’s going to happen if Clayton continues to disregard his offer to help him
Tiana is thinking ‘This was not what I was expecting, not even close. What have I done.’
A hero/heroine showing no fear or panic towards a villains death as it happens is satisfying because they’re pleased with the fact that the villains getting what they deserved
A hero/heroine looking horrified by what’s going on is incredibly chilling
Also Facilier wasn’t dragged to hell
His friends from the other side aren’t demons, they’re loas, which are powerful voodoo spirits; they do not have any ties to Christianity and therefore do not have any form of hell
Facilier was simply dragged to the other side where his friends came from

Falling deaths terrify me because I’ve got a massive case of acrophobia
And Oogie Boogies last words will forever haunt me, the pitch up changes in the voice as more and more bugs fall into the stew until it’s just one bug and it’s silenced by being stomped on

Frollo's death was actually pretty satisfying, if ya ask me :/

thats the point of these films, to show kids that being a bad person or being influenced by the wrong reasons will allow bad things to come back to you. In laymans terms, don't be an asshat
