Mary Ellen, thank you so much for your videos. I enjoy and learn a lot from them every time. Your accent is fab and your voice is so easy to listen to. I’m a homebody too and your stories resonate with me. You are on my heart because of your grief and your honesty 😘

Oh my goodness, Mary Ellen! I don't know why I'm just watching this video, but this was SO EXTREMELY HELPFUL! I have been trying to get my ADHD and OCD to stop taking over and figure out how to fill out spreads in a way that my brain can actually stand to look at! You explained it so simply, yet it was so informative. Thank you soooo much! I am trying to create a grief journal without it being so "blah"....and you just helped me get things started....FINALLY! (I know grief is sad and depressing to listen to or to deal with, but its something we a face. You discussing it in any amount is beyond appreciated! I would love tobwatch any video you make about it, even if it's just creating the spreads "before the pen".) Thanks sooooo much!

I just want to say thank you for taking your time and explaining how you do your journals. You are very creative. I just found you. I have been trying to get back to journaling and by watching your videos you have inspired me. I don't know what is going on in your personal life. Just know that God is always with you.

Absolutely love that you articulated the detailed thought and creative processes involved in designing a page. We often do these things without realizing, and I have never watched a video of anyone explaining it as well as you have.
This is the first video of yours I have watched. I am now subscribed, and I can’t wait to go through all of your park videos, and watch new ones!!
    Well done!!!

Thank you, Mary Ellen, for walking through your process. Your creative journal spreads are so inspiring. I know that grieving is so hard! When I lost my younger brother to MS I felt so guilty anytime I was happy. It’s a long, slow process and is so different for each person. You and I are close in age(I’m a couple years older than you) and I can relate to so many things you talk about on your channel, you’re doing a great job and you are truly a blessing to so many. Keep the beautiful work my friend, you’re awesome!💕

Thank you so much for this video. I have decided to use one of my outdated planners as a journal like this. I can just redate them! I have depression and anxiety issues and I think it would be helpful to be able to get what I am feeling out on paper. And I love the idea of being able to decorate it according to my feelings. I was wondering what to do with the planners I have on my shelf.....NOW I KNOW!!!! thank you! :)

Just found you a week or so ago. The spread is gorgeous and you are awesome. I too experienced a mind blowing loss of my husband 22 years ago and in December this past year, at the VERY young age of 63 was diagnosed with ADHD. So I kinda get where you're coming from but you seem to be handling everything more gracefully than I ever could. Keep teaching and entertaining and I'll keep watching.

Here lately it breaks my heart when my two year old grandson sees Emi and Teddy’s picture and he says their name. He won’t remember the time he spent with them. I’ve been doing a creative journal inspired by your style since mid-21. Originally I was in a classic vertical ad I did love it. But this year i switched to an A5 bound book (repurposing) an outdated Hobonichi Day Free (#useyourstash) and love it. It’s a little smaller and a little more challenging to sticker I think because it’s got less space and no columns but its still so much fun. I share sometimes on IG too.
