"Wonder if a pool of blood irl would turn into one big clot." The short answer is, yes, if a stagnant pool of blood were allowed to remain stagnant, it would form into one big fibrous clot. More interestingly, if you introduced an anticoagulant to the pool of blood such as EDTA, sodium heparin, or sodium citrate, then you get sedimentation. When blood sits for long enough, the heaviest particles (red blood cells) congregate at the bottom. The next heaviest cells, the white blood cells, form a layer above the RBCs. The layer left over at the top which used to contain the entirety of the RBCs and WBCs, is now only plasma. This is commonly what we use to test in medical laboratory science.
If it's not deep it would clot then turn black and then starts to decompose. If it's a pool deep it would still decompose, but wouldn't it form a clot layer on the top that protects the rest?

After watching your playthrough of Still Wakes the Deep, I've been on a hellhole of videos of oil rigs and life at the North Sea. It's interesting that they used the concept of oil rigs for this game lol, complete with gathering clots to meet the quota, rig maintenance, a diving mechanic, and just showing how dangerous jobs like this pays well but at the cost of your safety. Not to mention the commercialization of oil (a planet's natural resource) is paralleled to how the clots of the planet you're mining is for the benefit of the colony. Indie devs are something else

OMG, this brought back some nasty memories, I'm a Water Treatment Engineer and one of my jobs used to be to service machines in Abattoirs, it was just like this, blood everywhere all congealed and it smelt so bad, I used to have to remove pump blockages as well.
I used to run tests for viruses using chicken blood and hamster blood (i tried not to think about it too much), and we had to remove clots from the blood with pipette tips if they were big enough to get in the way. It's funny to see it on a grand scale like this.
Other stupid ways to try dying: - Go down in one of the elevators without a suit - Finish absolutely everything necessary for the Good Ending, then stand directly under the exit elevator as it descends - Carry one of the icky parasites around rather than grind it up, then try feeding it to the long-necked thing in Shaft C

Hi gab! Could you play signalis? It’s an amazing survival horror game and a good portion of the game has a similar vibe/visuals of this game. It’s got a ton of literary references and a rly cool story. And cyborgs, industrial aesthetic, space travel, time loops and paranormal phenomena, blood planets, and a retro video game aesthetic. It’s been out for a while and I haven’t seen many big lets players give it recognition even though it’s known to be rly good! It’s even got a bit of iron lung type aesthetic and storyline, the hopelessness of being sent out to space as a sort of prisoner of an oppressive regime.

Papa's Pizzaria, you find Coagulation Station. The game kicks off with sudden ridiculous debt as the inciting incident, forcing you to seek steady employment which involves responding to a number of events in an appropriate and timely manner until the day is over [ Papa's Pizzaria ] The game features a gory interior space of a massive [ apparently living ] cave of viscera and gore from which resources are being extracted for a wide verity of uses, and the maintenance of the extraction process being put ahead of safety will get you killed [ Mystery Flesh Pit National Park ] You are extracting blood as the central resource of a Blood Planet and The Only Planet Left after an unknown cataclysm that life managed to continue on from for however long [ Iron Lung ]
I wonder what would've happened if you threw a clot into the grinder while standing on top of it, or if you fell into the sea of blood while wearing a diving suit. Those are the only alternatives that I could really think to test.
I got a question, if you're inside the cage underwater when the bloodwave comes, would it be less devastating? I imagine you'll just be tossed around in the divng suit in the cage and thats it.

Mark II just means it’s the second version of the project. For example in Iron Man, Stark refers to different models of the suit as Mark __
A new version of something goes from 'mark 1' to 'mark 2,' and so on. That's not a Markiplier thing.
