I am a big planner as well! I make a TBR and I probably only raid half of the books on it LOL. It's still fun to make the TBR, though I feel like it gives me a guide for the month! Because I'm also heavy on the mood reading!

1- 😮 you’ve never been to a BN. Girl get ready to be blown away. Out of all the bookstores, they’ve lasted. ( Probably don’t know about Waldenbooks, Borders). I would join you if you’re in the NE Florida area.
2-I’m a mood reader & have a TBR. It’s just not monthly. I select the books I want to read for the year and go from there. I’ve been able to read about 4-5 books from this list of at least 10 in the past.
3- Be prepared to be blown away with Kennedy Ryan’s new book. All the feels you get from Before I Let Go will be doubled. Can’t wait as see your review.
4- Thank you for the book recommendation of After I Do, just started last night and so far I’m enjoying it.
5- yes please share how you annotate. Love seeing the different ways.
6- Kick that imposter to the curb. I love your content. Keep it coming.
Having a TBR is a PLAN, but plans can change based on your mood. I have a TBR every month, but if I change my mind, then I’ll replace one book for another. Sometimes my TBR and my monthly wrap up look different, and sometimes they look the same and that’s okay!
I have 100% agree with you.👏🏽👏🏽 Because I’m an Overthinker and I put it out onto social that I’m reading these certain books….I put this pressure on myself that I “HAVE TO” read these certain books and I hate that feeling..
And I know I shouldn’t make myself feel that way, but for some reason it just lingers on me. But I’m definitely gonna show myself a lot more Grace, and incorporate mood reading along with highly anticipated reads.

I made me a TBR Shelf, and I put 27 books on my shelf and i need to try to read them buy the end of the year. and I wrap up 12 books and pick 1 book to read for that month.
it’s like a blind date with a book but you kind of have an idea what it could be, that’s exciting. 😆😆😆😆

Yayy!🥹🥹 the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo is the reason why I fell in love with historical fiction. I love the tone and old detailing of historical places and romance. 🫶🏽
@@blossomramos it’s my first historical fiction book and I really like it. I never thought I’d like the genre but it’s good. Have you heard of Kristin Hannah? She wrote several books like the nightingale and the women which I’ve heard nothing but good things about but haven’t read yet. I’m waiting for her books to be available in my library so I can read it on my kindle lol

Definitely steering away from the definitive TBRs … fellow mood reader here. But I’m so scatterbrained I’m gonna need some sort of structure.
Ok how about mood reading with a couple highly anticipated books? And then at the end of the month when we do our monthly wrap-ups, it will truly be a wonderful surprise to see what we read.😆🤯🥹RIGHT!!!!!
