Hello Abby, time does go by faster as you get older, there is a saying about this. When you are a kid, you are still learning about life and time goes slower, but when you are an adult, you develop a daily routine and time goes by fast!
I always think of it this way: when you are 5, one year is 20% of your life. When you are 50 one year is 2% of your life. So the years feel less consequential as you grow older.
I know I can always expect a ramble on a deep and heavy topic from you😅 But your gentle voice makes it worth listening :) The bee plushie part felt like a tribute to beez asmr not just because of the name but also the scratching triggers. Hope your cold gets better!

As a part-time filmmaker, your bee plushie gave me an idea for a possible project. Have you ever seen the monster flicks where real-life people interact with stop-motion puppets? I've thought of a more light-hearted variant where someone (maybe a gardener) is shrunk down in size, and in the journey they have to take to reverse the spell they befriend a colony of bees who need an extra hand collecting enough pollen. With the right crew, decent effects are doable with semi-realistic but expressively cute bees. Maybe you could name your bee O'Brien (after the King Kong puppeteer Willis O'Brien) or Harryhausen (after the Clash of the Titans puppeteer Ray Harryhausen). My drink of choice ... now that I've given up alcohol ... is iced tea. I have to be careful not to get any lemonade-flavor brands, because the combination of lemons makes the iced tea REALLY stick to your teeth.
