Many denominations purposely don't read or want to understand the Book of Hebrews because if they did, they would have to dismantle their denomination. I love the Book of Hebrews and have often said that it is a commentary on the Psalms. You guys did another excellent job of taking this thing apart and putting it back together. Your doctrine is consistent and coherent and that's the highest complement I can pay anybody.

Which denomination goes by the Book of Hebrews? I'm 67 years old and have been a Christian most of my life. I have studied the doctrines and theologies of many denominations and none of them comply with the Book of Hebrews 100%. They all depart from this book in some way.

If man can not prove how the Lord was born to a virgin, how did He rise from the dead, how did He change languages , does that make man superior? Abraham believed God could raise Isaac. His faith was credited as righteousness. Jewishness is faith in God. Even after God parted the seas, Moses knew Israel would rebel. Our Lord knew His Father's business even at the age of 12. He knows He was before Abraham. He knows the eternal Kingdom is His. He is living and will bring His Kingdom on the last day.

When Lord sent the Holy Spirit, it was on Pentecost. People spoke all different languages, and they too spread His word everywhere He took them! It is such a blessing to know how to worship the Creator and one true God who saves from evil. Moses knew already Israel would be unfaithful. Her kings introduced pagan practices until the Savior born of the Holy Spirit delivered first the Jews and then Gentiles from wicked ways!

I ran into a Oneness Pentacostals, and I brought up this verse. He said "they are different types of lords" and I said, "ok cool, so we established that they are different.....now, who is the Lord of the king?" And then the subject got changed and he wouldn't go back to it.
Hm? Oneness Pentacostals usually know what the scripture is referencing. Although they don't believe in the Trinity, they know that Jesus was filled with the Godhead, completely.

Greetings in christ... Just this march i came across this verse in Romans and it really disturbed me that i started to think Paul twisted things. I tried to reach a lot of sources to check over it and none satisfied me. I prayed God to teach me on it and later i forgot this as I went with my daily chores. But after months I am now relieved from this dilemma as the Lord taught me this through you. Even though I forgot what I prayed over God didn't forget my prayer and answered it at the right time. Amen. Thank you for this study. Its so fascinating that as you were giving responses to Psalm 110 objects, the parallels in Psalm 2 were also playing over and over in my mind. I also appreciated how you showed in the New Testament Jesus raising the question about Psalm 110. None of his opponents is raise the kinds of objections that we see some doing today hundreds of years later. I often think we should be very aware of the influence of Masoratic and Hellenistic traditions on the way we read the Bible, which can sometimes cause us to not see clear statements and concepts that are taught. Some of these ways can often be foreign to the context of a 1st century mind wrestling with the text and can often cause confusion. Thank you to you both and your team for putting this together and reminding us of what are proper ways to view the text and re-engage in the excitement and coherent message of the whole Bible. This is a great teaching. Ps 110 is a Messianic Psalm . Frequently quoted in the NT referring to Jesus the Messiah . David was led prophetically to write by the Holy Spirit .This psalm is a continuation of PS 2 for it completes the prophetic account of Jesus Christ final victory.
More than that, the Pharisees of Jesus' time obviously agreed that this psalm was Messianic, or else the question Jesus posed to them wouldn't have made any sense. "How can the Messiah be David's son?"

David was a Psalmist as well as a prophet. I believe God gave him a revelation of things to come just as God gave, Enoch, Daniel, Jeremiah, Isaiah and others! It’s not uncommon for God to reveal an End from the Beginning; He’s the LORD God Jehovah! Moses said, a Prophet like onto him, God would give us/them. I don’t believe David is praising himself, he’s used to praising God or praying to God. That’s what the Psalms are all about. Praise God!

He brought the man possessed in the tombs to his right mind. He will judge the false prophets, the beast, and the old serpent . While in Genesis 49:10 says, 💕...Until Shiloh comes; And to Him shall be the obedience of the people. On this verse, Shiloh represents a person, someone who had been waited for by the prophets. If we are going to analyze ' until Shiloh comes' represents the waiting and the detailed expectation of the coming of the Lord who is the scepter and the lawgiver endowed with power of God who came to earth to a tent/body prepared for Him. The powerful Shiloh who can save humanity in the characterstic of PEACE. Shiloh is an ancient Hebrew word and appears to mean “He whose it is” or “he who is to be sent” or “that which belongs to him.” And as reiterated Isaiah 48:16 💕“Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord God and His Spirit Have sent Me.” This "Me" who had been sent is the Shiloh, who is the scepter and the lawgiver who is also from the beginning, before the beginning of time, before the beginning of man. Who is this God who is with you all the time Israel as confirmed in Psalm 78 ? But He is the One who had been sent! The Arm of the Lord on Isaiah 53 is the Shiloh that had been sent as a Son of Man, who died but lives again and now is seated at the right hand of Father in heaven. The same Arm of the Lord who died and is risen and ascended to heaven, is also the same Shiloh who will come back to rule and the obedience of all the people to Him. In peace, our Shiloh obeyed; in peace, our Shiloh accept the punishment for us; in peace, our Shiloh offered his life. In peace, our Shiloh saves us from death; and thus we live thru the Prince of Peace, our Shiloh from the tribe of Judah, the Arm of the Lord, the King of the Jews, our Lord Yeshua.

The answer is because David is speaking through the spirit and giving revelation. It is not David who is talking, but it is the spirit of God who is talking through him (David). God looks at David’s son, in the sense of David's son becoming the next ruler. Just thinking out loud

Isn't this amazing, in the New Testament Yeshua said that the Holy Spirit will teach us everything we need to know, and I agree as few years ago I read the Psalm110 and that is what I understood and believed that it was a Messianic chapter. I ran into a Oneness Pentacostals, and I brought up this verse. He said "they are different types of lords" and I said, "ok cool, so we established that they are different.....now, who is the Lord of the king?" And then the subject got changed and he wouldn't go back to it.
Hm? Oneness Pentacostals usually know what the scripture is referencing. Although they don't believe in the Trinity, they know that Jesus was filled with the Godhead, completely.

Greetings in christ... Just this march i came across this verse in Romans and it really disturbed me that i started to think Paul twisted things. I tried to reach a lot of sources to check over it and none satisfied me. I prayed God to teach me on it and later i forgot this as I went with my daily chores. But after months I am now relieved from this dilemma as the Lord taught me this through you. Even though I forgot what I prayed over God didn't forget my prayer and answered it at the right time. Amen. Thank you for this study. Its so fascinating that as you were giving responses to Psalm 110 objects, the parallels in Psalm 2 were also playing over and over in my mind. I also appreciated how you showed in the New Testament Jesus raising the question about Psalm 110. None of his opponents is raise the kinds of objections that we see some doing today hundreds of years later. I often think we should be very aware of the influence of Masoratic and Hellenistic traditions on the way we read the Bible, which can sometimes cause us to not see clear statements and concepts that are taught. Some of these ways can often be foreign to the context of a 1st century mind wrestling with the text and can often cause confusion. Thank you to you both and your team for putting this together and reminding us of what are proper ways to view the text and re-engage in the excitement and coherent message of the whole Bible. Jesus is LORD and is the only way! God bless and take care.

This is a great teaching. Ps 110 is a Messianic Psalm . Frequently quoted in the NT referring to Jesus the Messiah . David was led prophetically to write by the Holy Spirit .This psalm is a continuation of PS 2 for it completes the prophetic account of Jesus Christ final victory.
More than that, the Pharisees of Jesus' time obviously agreed that this psalm was Messianic, or else the question Jesus posed to them wouldn't have made any sense. "How can the Messiah be David's son?"

David was a Psalmist as well as a prophet. I believe God gave him a revelation of things to come just as God gave, Enoch, Daniel, Jeremiah, Isaiah and others! It’s not uncommon for God to reveal an End from the Beginning; He’s the LORD God Jehovah! Moses said, a Prophet like onto him, God would give us/them. I don’t believe David is praising himself, he’s used to praising God or praying to God. That’s what the Psalms are all about. Praise God!
I know this is not about prayer, but please pray for my son Ivan, he’s in the hospital right now, he’s hearing voices.May The Lord heal him so that he may give the good news to the Jewish people, start ting with his father who converted to Judaism and left us because we were Christians.

He brought the man possessed in the tombs to his right mind. He will judge the false prophets, the beast, and the old serpent . He will protect those who draw to Him from the Father, by His Name which the Father gave Him, and keep His sheep holy until He returns, because He said so and because He wants us to see His glory which He had with the Father before the world began. Everything was created through Him and for Him.
The “musical chairs” comment reminded me of this passage:

In the daytime also He led them with the cloud, And all the night with a light of fire.
He split the rocks in the wilderness, And gave them drink in abundance like the depths.
He also brought streams out of the rock,
And caused waters to run down like rivers.
And there are many more history on this chapter where the scepter and the lawgiver is with the Israelites guiding and leading them out from slavery.
This chapter also emphasizes that the scepter and the lawgiver will come from the line of Judah coinciding with (Genesis 49:10) as seen in
Psalm 78: 67-68
💕Moreover He rejected the tent of Joseph,
And did not choose the tribe of Ephraim, But chose the tribe of Judah,
Mount Zion which He loved.
We could see that the tribe of Judah is really the chosen one from where the scepter would arise,
But who is the scepter and the lawgiver who made those wondrous things as said in the verses and a God who dwells in the tabernacle of Shiloh?
Who is this God who raged but patiently endures the disobedience of Israelites?
Psalm 78:58-59
💕For they provoked Him to anger with their high places,
And moved Him to jealousy with their
carved images.
When God heard this, He was furious,
And greatly abhorred Israel,

💕He also gave His people over to the sword, And was furious with His inheritance
Despite the hard headedness and infidelity of the Israelites, who is this God who had chosen David to shephered his people Jacob?
Who is this God who got furious with you Israel and chosen remnants for Him? Who is this God who inherit you Israel? This had been testified by
Deuteronomy 32:9
💕For the Lord’s portion is his people,
Jacob his allotted inheritance
Who would give an inheritance to the Lord?
Unless there is more higher in authority than the name of the "Lord" that had been mentioned in this verse.

It is not Father in heaven who inherit you "Jacob" for there is none and no one who can give an inheritance to Father in heaven. Inheritance is something that had been acquired from someone who gives. Father had given you to someone who is also called "Lord " as the verse of Deuteronomy 32:9 told. And this "Lord" who inherited you is called the " Mighty God of Jacob" for He is the one whose with Israel all the time as the Psalm 78 said.

🍃Even the word Shiloh had been been emphasized in this chapter
Psalm 78:60
💕He abandoned the tabernacle of Shiloh,
the tent he had set up among humans.
This verse told us that on this verse Shiloh represents as a tent or place where the presence of the scepter and the lawgiver is among with the people of Israel on that time.
3. Who is the Shiloh?
While in Genesis 49:10 says,
💕...Until Shiloh comes; And to Him shall be the obedience of the people.
On this verse, Shiloh represents a person, someone who had been waited for by the prophets. If we are going to analyze ' until Shiloh comes' represents the waiting and the detailed expectation of the coming of the Lord who is the scepter and the lawgiver endowed with power of God who came to earth to a tent/body prepared for Him. The powerful Shiloh who can save humanity in the characterstic of PEACE.
Shiloh is an ancient Hebrew word and appears to mean “He whose it is” or “he who is to be sent” or “that which belongs to him.”
And as reiterated
Isaiah 48:16
💕“Come near to Me, hear this:
I have not spoken in secret from the
beginning;
From the time that it was, I was there.
And now the Lord God and His Spirit
Have sent Me.”
This "Me" who had been sent is the Shiloh, who is the scepter and the lawgiver who is also from the beginning, before the beginning of time, before the beginning of man. Who is this God who is with you all the time Israel as confirmed in Psalm 78 ? But He is the One who had been sent!
The Arm of the Lord on Isaiah 53 is the Shiloh that had been sent as a Son of Man, who died but lives again and now is seated at the right hand of Father in heaven. The same Arm of the Lord who died and is risen and ascended to heaven, is also the same Shiloh who will come back to rule and the obedience of all the people to Him.
In peace, our Shiloh obeyed; in peace, our Shiloh accept the punishment for us; in peace, our Shiloh offered his life. In peace, our Shiloh saves us from death; and thus we live thru the Prince of Peace, our Shiloh from the tribe of Judah, the Arm of the Lord, the King of the Jews, our Lord Yeshua.

The answer is because David is speaking through the spirit and giving revelation. It is not David who is talking, but it is the spirit of God who is talking through him (David). God looks at David’s son, in the sense of David's son becoming the next ruler.
