"Barking seal" noise from the engine is the most creative one I was ever told by a customer. They started the car it would ideal high then down really low and all while the belt would squeal and well all together it sounded like a damn barking seal. Never again have I heard that.

That funny noise I hear coming from the trunk is a stow-away rat that's been living there for 4 days now and I haven't been able to remove him. I don't want him dead because his dead carcass will smell badly and I'll have to tear apart the inside panels and upholstery which I don't know how. I've tried peppermint tea bags which were offensive to him but the smell drove him forward and away from it. I leave my trunk open as much as I can, but it's time restricted. So, how does someone remove the carpeting/panels and replace them in case I have to physically have to chase him out?
Constantly noises - just focus in suspect areas then shooting them . Intermittently noises - too much time , scratching head or just wait for constantly noises coming . This video is very helpful. Thank you for sharing your experiences.

We checked the wheel bearing is perfect . The sound is comes from only front left side . The sound is just as the old truck’s acceleration.

Len, I'm teaching a very intelligent 11 year old some everyday life skills during Summer break and came upon your video. Loved your introduction and will use it but the rest is over both our heads and our goal isn't to fix the mechanical issue (unless is minor) but just diagnose it...just to know if needs to go to a shop or is something simple can do ourselves. So saying do you have a video that is just that ...diagnosing issues using the dashboard lights and the noises and signs something just needs regular maintenance...like fluids, gas, new battery, etc or should be taken to a mechanic like yourself. So enjoyed your comical delivery.

Hello there , i got a Clunking sound from my Acadia 2007 front drive SLE type , coming from Rear Left side of the car , i changed the Rear Shocks but still the Clunking noise comes usually going over bumpy roads , i did check the Front Ball joints and they are Ok. But the noise comes from the Rear left nothing to do with the Front ball joints though ! The Sway bars are okay , these cars have also Spring coils in the rear plus the Shock absorbers . Thank you ...
I have a 1994 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder. It started running rough , power isn't bad going up hill , noticed a tear in the inlet hose to the top of the motor,. ( No check engine light on yet ),. I was going to try and duct tape the split part but it turns off I put the other section of the hose back on it tightened it down , but now the check engine light is on and it didn't improve anything, seems like it's getting worse , when you press the throttle it makes an odd noise. Any idea ? I have comment on other channels but no response, I can't afford to pay someone else to fix it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. I get it, these videos go back to 7 months ago others a year ago or more.

I can't find any films, where the knocking sound from the engine would appear at higher speeds. The car is 2003 Chevy Cavalier. I don't know if it has hydraulic tensioner. If someone has opinion about origin of the knocking sound at speeds (starts ~ @45 mi/h) and find time to share it, I would really appreciate it. I've heard that it can be fm/the some transmission problems, like low on fluid, or it can be engine tensioner belt. I hope on that, but afraid it might be smth more serious. I need help here. When I accelerate slowly I notice my car seem sluggish when moving with a boinling sound in the car engine section but when I accelerate fast, everything runs smoothly. This doesn happen often and it is worse when AC is on

If it's heard when putting the truck in gear and/or when taking off from a stop, its likely the u-joints on the driveshaft
