23:12 I am watching this film now and strangely you look at the actors and you see the service contractors. I, as a veteran, applaud the Director, Producer, and the actors, Max, "The Unit" had to have helped. Extraordinary film, actors, and direction/production. Thank you to all.
John Krasinski knocked it out of the park, which obviously led to him getting the Jack Ryan role. He plays a regular guy, doing badass things really well.
Listening to the contractors talk about how real the actors got this movie and how well individually they brought out their character, I'd love to see a Q&A where "Jack Silva" speaks on his "I could really smash some pancakes about now" line on the roof of the annex. I thought that one line brought such humanity, such personal in real time thinking and a small bit of light hearted reality...RIP Rone, Ty, mr Smith and Ambassador Stevens
I have read and researched about as deep as I could into this movie, and as far as I can tell, it's 100% accurate to what happened that night except for two details. Only two deliberate name changes. Jack Silva, because he wishes to remain private and was still in contracting at the time. And Station Chief Bob, because I'm their desire to keep it apolitical, they didn't want to out him since the movie wasn't a political hit job.
It is such an Honor to see and hear from OUR AMAZING HERO'S--This Movie shares so in detail what these Men with Honor Integrity & love for their brothers n arms, family and we the American's of USA!!! It's right up there (very factual) with "Lone Survivor" ❤ I'm so in awe of these courageous men who truly didn't have to be there but they have that "Honor Code" & love...never leave a brother in Arms BEHIND " when I saw the Movie and at the end where they share about these men's lives, many hid their faces (for many good reasons) to now seeing them, these HERO'S are amazing & I have beyond RESPECT for all. Thank you for your honor integrity and sacrifice to all ❤
What impressed Me the Most about "13 Hours" was how it told the REAL STORY about Benghazi without any Hype or Object Lesson ... No "Hollywood" Puffery or Romanticizing ... It just Shows the "Balls On" Truth ... and, as a Former USAF Jet Pilot, The Truth is All That Matters to Me ... Bart
It all worked! I watch it over and over because of the heroic men and the acting made me feel it was real!

That's so true, when I saw Michael Bay's name in the end credits, I was shocked! He did a great job

I'd love to work with Michael Bay one day

Our American soldiers should have never been there in the first place. This had nothing to do with America.
